Halloooooo, Tori! What a beautiful montage of photos! I love when my favourite artists show holiday photos or pics of their gardens. It makes me happy. Iceland was one of the handful of places my late husband and I never got to. It was on our list. I'm so pleased that you got to experience it's beauty and individuality. Amazing! Home is best, isn't it? You gain a new appreciation for home when you travel. Trite to say, I suppose, but it's still true! Your puffin Elton is my most favourite! I ADORE puffins! They make me smile. He is magnificent, Tori! And the poem - simply glorious!! I am a Scot from Inverness and I LOVE your wee coo!! He is wonderful!! I'd love one of him! Disco Snail is very groovy, too! And the evicted Greg made me laugh out loud. How funny is Meadow?? So clever! I love this video. Thank you so much for always bringing the joy and bling! Love and Bless xoxo
Thank you Lindsey - it was a glorious holiday and full of fun with good people :). My bed was waiting patiently for me and gave me a big hug when I climbed in. Pauline did a brilliant job with the poem for Elton and I was so inspired by Meadow’s “Greg” snails!! 🐌. Much love to you ❤️
What a great video, travel photos and stories great makes and purchases. The very bright felting wool is so your style. And I adore the yeltide lad’s illustrations. Thanks for sharing ❤❤
Happy to hear you had a wonderful time! I love that you got all that crafty time in with fellow artists. Sounds like a dream. Love Elton and Disco Gregg ,their names are fabulous ❤
Elton the Puffin is adorable! Thanks for sharing your lovely photos. I used to do those twisty things when I was a kid. They were a fad and called Scoobies! Done with plastic 'strings '
Hi Tori: I love the projects you brought home from your adventures. Gotta tell ya, Pauline had me cracking up with her poem. BTW, in the book, “Geography of Bliss,” Iceland rates very high for being one of the happiest countries on earth. Your needle felting looks great! Would love to learn it one day. I couldn’t understand what you were calling the bookmark, but I would wear it as a pin on everything! So cute. Can’t wait for you to show us your Yule Lads and crochet monsters. Talk about right up your alley. 💜😎🇺🇸
Pauline’s poem was fantastic wasn’t it? Iceland is glorious - land of ice and fire :). The bookmark - a Highland Cow but pronounced “Coo” which is the old Scottish pronunciation. In the old Scots language, 'coo' means 'cow’ ☺️. I think I may need to do a tutorial on needle felting that one day. ❤️
Oh my what fun you have been having. Glad you had a partner in crafty crime on your latest adventure. Love the Lapp books. Have a bunch of her stand alone patterns from Etsy as well. Crafty Intentions I believe is her shop name. Good stuff. Love Gregg, disco style. Do show him when he has gotten all of his blingy bits please. Another enjoyable bit of UA-cam fun. Thank you for sharing as always. Be well and take care! Hugs from Texas. It's raining a bit, no biggie over there, but here it's quite the treat indeed.
Thank you Kyra! I had a fabulous time ☺️. Megan Lapp is amazingly talented and I love the customisation that you can achieve - she has truly thought of everything! I will definitely show Disco Gregg when he is finished :). Enjoy the cooling rainfall :) hugs ❤️
Now I want to book a Fred Olsen cruise ... love the poem that Pauline wrote about Elton the Puffin.. so cute. Norway and Iceland are my favourite places too. Cheers from Nova Scotia.
I just finished a red, black, white, and green (the colors of the Palestinian flag) kumihimo necklace for my daughter's birthday next week. Love the craft because it's so easy and yet amazing. Putting it on a pen is a great idea!
TORI…..it was a Whirling Dervish of a parade of goodies this morning here in Olympia, Washington State…..the Great Landscape Designer of Iceland was blinged up and sparkled by your Holiday presence while making friendships a long the way….I am anxious for the dark nights of Christmas and a rich story unfolding with some fellows just introduced…….but one day-each day to not be rushed and take time to relish in mid-summers gifts of opportunities…..
@@KoolKookyKreatures - The 'tag' around the wool fluff said it was UV reactive- PLEASE say you will show us!? I wanna see it in black light- ba-rill-iant!! 😁
@@KoolKookyKreatures I didn't know such a thing existed. Cool! I just was thinking, will you try spinning any on your spindle? I heartily encourage it. Once you start, you will want more! And Shetland wool would be a great starting fibre, as it's a more coarse fibre than most merino wool tops. But if you "only" felt with it. I would totally understand that, too!
@sharonb8859 in the shop where I bought it they had some beautiful hand made drop spindles but they were quite pricey and I had one at home. I definitely will try with the Shetland wool x ❤️
Thank you so much Cindy and I hope you had a fabulous holiday! Glad you are enjoying! Greg is for Meadow as she inspired him :) If you go to my Facebook page and private message me, I will send him on to you! Facebook page is the same as here - koolkookykreatures :) 🤗
Love Elton and glad you had such fun on the cruise it sounds great fun. The monster book looks fun too. Thank you for showing us.💕
Thank you Elizabeth - it was a blast :) x ❤️
