Woah, I never expected that acknowledgement of Indian viewers at the end. I must tell you that I see your videos and always get totally amazed by the way you explain things, I always wanted my professors to focus more on intuitive side of things but then your videos fill that void. And yeah, I am from India and would 'really' love to meet you one day. Your fan!
Thanks so much for this, Mudit! One day I hope to travel to India though it looks like those plans are on hold for a while. Wishing you safety and health in these strange times!
I've watched 7 videos of the distributions series at a stretch and I'm absolutely delighted! I have never watched any statistical videos explained in such details, yet made so intuitive. Amazing work! Please keep these coming.
Its one of the best channel to learn statistics in a funny way but at the same time doing no compromise with theoretical understanding... Watching from India
The timing..... I started studying this distribution at uni (online) today, your video appears on my feed today.... Thanks for your videos btw, they have been so helpful.
Dear ZED, This tutorial came just ON TIME between my statistix course last year 2019 and this semester 2020. CHI square, the way you teach it, is suddenly MADE CLEAR like magic. i can say now that I understand the distribution. all I need is to watch the other chi square usage tutorials and make sense of the test . again, many thanks. highly recommended.
Hello, Mr. {Justin}. It appears that I found your teaching resources {just in} time - slightly over a month before the end-of-semester examination. Your teaching is life-preserving. Most intriguingly, the way you teach mathematics is like how a literature professor would disassemble and compartmentalise a Shakespeare play in a university English course. Very interesting and thought-provoking choice of words. I will surely recommend your videos to siblings, relatives and friends...
Explaining the intuition behind make it so interesting. I don't know why you do that, maybe pure altruism? Share your passion for stats? you're delivering so much value in those videos that you deserve a golden medal. All I can say is thank you.
My name is carlos Rivera, I am an ophthalmologist from Cali, Colombia, I am a clinical practitioner, trying to understand biostatistics. your videos are very clear and easy to understand. congrats. I will really appreciate videos of survival analysis, ROC curves, interpretation of literature in ophthalmological field.
This is really cool, I love the fact when you say that you hate "Formulas", trust me Ihave come across very few curious souls like you, who doesn't not settle on a given formula but want to understand "Why" You are are helping a lot pf people develop their intuitive streak, please keep it up. Stay Safe!!
Nice one sir I'm also from India we really appreciate how u want to introduce all these concepts cuz in our college there is not sufficient time for our professor to go this deep
What a detailed and fun video! You deserve more and more subscribers. Also, this kind of cleared my concepts. Thanks a ton! Love from INDIA,hope your channel grows!
Hi, Really appreciate your videos. I studied same topics from CFA & FRM books and many other videos but never got this high value of information same as i got it from your videos. Many thanks
You need to travel to Uganda as well to meet Bob your proud and committed student. You're one of the few teachers i revere and look up to. You utilize the uncharted territories of the mind. i like your intuitive approach, engages me.
Sir Great content, I was studying Statistics and all concept were going over the head, after watching' your videos I was able to understand the concepts. GREAT CONCEPT & EXPLANATIONS, KEEP IT UP SIR AT LEAST FOR THE NEEDY KIDS, please also release a video on LOG NORMAL DIST.
Could you please make a video on the CENTRAL LIMIT THEOREM and LAW OF LARGE NUMBERS. These videos are the most intuitive probability distribution videos i have ever seen.
I am a great fan of your videos and really impressed by the outstanding teaching ability. I have a doubt with Chi-square distribution. First why we are squaring the z value to get Chi-square? Why we are taking about degree of freedom in chi-square distribution, but not in normal distriubtion? Also, why we are using chi square to find the goodness of fit and finding the association of attributes. If you could explain using a practical example, it would help us to understand. Thanks.
I haven't seen it spelled out anywhere in these tutorials that arithmetic on random variables (such as sums of distributions, squaring a distribution etc., which are quite relevant here) DO NOT behave like the point-wise arithmetic on PDF's of those random variables! For example, after hearing that the Chi-Squared distribution with DF=1 is "a square of the Normal distribution", one might go to Google and type exp(-x^2)^2 to see if it's true. That is absolutely not the correct distribution, as we can witness by comparing it to the one seen on this video. Zedstatistics, I'd love to see a video about this!
Thank you for this good video :) I wanted to explain these topics in my thesis but unfortunately, I hadn't understood these well. Now I know all I wanted to know. I have a request. Please introduce a good book or article. I want to add that to the bibliography.
It took me a minute to understand that when you randomly select n values from the standard normal, then square/sum each, that process is repeated infinitely to create the chi square.

The way you explain things in details and intuitively! Much love to you from Bangladesh sir ❤️
perfect channel to LEARN statistics.
People just mug things up but there is so much depth to it. Interesting
OMG thanks man! After 3 years since I was first introduced to the concept it finaly starts making sense
I'm giving a economics pg entrance exam this year this video helped me loads thankyou so much. I wish we could have a professor like you in college
the best statistic channel.
Indeed.
This spirit is exactly what everyone wants in a teacher
You are explaining everything so understandable like teaching to a kid, so clean. Thanks a lot.
Please don't stop making this awesome videos.Thank you.
Thanks Justin. It's nice smiling while taking a stats class. I might just end up watching all the videos on your channel! Keep up the good job.

Thank god the chi square video is up.
Looking forward for the remaining distributions as well.

A very well structured video...I have just started statistics and I'm pretty sure, ill be seeing more of your videos in the coming days
How did your statistics class go?
Thanks
very upbeat way to learn statistics, with a sense of wonder and curiosity, and nice background music! pleasure!
this is the most detailed explanation about chi-square distribution, thank u zed
intuition is what almost all students lack when they are treating statistics thanks for improoving our intuition
this guy's great, it's like a more technical version of statquest
Thanks for the great explanation of why E(z) is equal to df
I could not wrap my head around that before your explanation.
thank you sir , lots of love from India.
Very, very, very good! Congrats! Prof. Vidal, school of medicine, rio de janeiro, brazil.
Thanks!
You're welcome, DJ!
Hey! It is very good that intuition is given importance in your videos... Very nice to see that
Спасибо!

I'm still at 1/3rd of the video! Damn the explanation is awesome! Appropriate speed and the questions explained matching with our thoughts!
Best video on Chi-square distribution... Thanks for clearing my whole concept.... #studentfromIndia
Amazing video, focusing on why... You are a great teacher.
thanks this has given me a better idea of what is going on
You are such a great teacher. Thank you so much.
Awesome vid! Just the intuition I was looking for.
17:52 Woohoo!! Cheers Justin, you make statistics fun, unlike the statistics professor at our college.
its so nicely explained that i wanna explain it to someone else now
Phenomenal work as always, thank you!
Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.
This is great! Thank you! And yes please don’t stop making these videos!
You are amazing. Truly. Thank you
Im Indian too and I appreciate your videos.
Could you please make a video on the CENTRAL LIMIT THEOREM and LAW OF LARGE NUMBERS.
These videos are the most intuitive probability distribution videos i have ever seen.
Great explanation, thanks, cleared my mind on the subject🏆🏆🏆
Amazing video!
Much love from India
Thanks so much. Best explanation ever
Request you to provide Lognormal Distribution video.
Thank you for doing what you are doing.

the 1 represents the standard deviation in N(0,1)
My university could just play this guy's video in a big auditorium and that'll be more worth the tuition.
great amazing way of explanation. Very simplified and unique👌💝💥💥
