Thank you! Honestly, before Cricut made a ton of the newer upgrades, it was much easier for me to design in Canva because I knew it and all my fonts were there. I could probably do it in Design Space now, but I'm stuck in my ways 😂 it's just a preference thing for me

All of your projects were SO cute!! Now I want to get a cricuit! I'm curious do stores like Joann Fabrics, Hobby Lobby or Michael's offer classes for first time Cricuit users. I'm comfortable with computers, I just think it would take me a long time to learn all of the things it could do. On another note, I used to work in a dental office & the "weeding" tool looks just like an explorer, which is the tool the dentist uses to look for cavities in your teeth. Now if I'm wrong about its specific use, I'm going on a job I had almost 50 years ago!!! Lol

To get red paint opaque faster, add white to the red making a pink color. You will use this as the base coat for your red. Then paint your red color over it. It often makes it so you don't have to do so many coats.
Everything came out so nice!! I am partial to anything gingerbread so the gingerbread and cocoa ones were my favorites! Also I am one of those people that has a brand new Cricut (got for Christmas LAST year) And I've literally done ONE project!! I don't know why I am so intimidated by this thing!! 😆 I am gonna force myself to get it out and put it to use!! TFS!!🎅🌲⛄💕

I would love for you to consider doing a cricut 101 for beginners to understand basic cut, slice , dice, weed, feed, etc 😂! The machine alone is intimidating alone but you do a great job with your instructions.

Yes! Now is a great time to get one. If you are super new and want to save, you can look at the Explore 2 or Maker models. It’s one class behind the most recent but still an amazing machine. You can also get a great deal on them right now!
This was super helpful Whitney! I wish I would have had tutorials on all the different functions when the machines changed from strictly cartridges to design space. Can you still import your cartridges into your Design Space account? I’m really comfortable with my old machine & would like a Maker 3, but I REALLY don’t want to lose the $$$ I have in cartridges 🤦🏼♀️. I would love to know what you think! Sorry if I'm answering, but just wanted you to know, I was in the same boat with all my cartridges. I was able to call Cricut and they told me to take pictures of all of my cartridges and they put them in Design Space for me. You can sell them, but you have to let the buyers know that they cannot upload them. I was lucky with that because most of my buyers were just happy to have them to use. I still have 4 cartridges to get rid of :) I'm so very thankful I was able to do that because I spent quite a bit of money on cartridges.
