At 24:00 you can see the vehicles parked on the side of the road in the observation lot and tune your radio in to listen to the air traffic chatter. When I lived in Vegas from '05 to '10, I would park there once a week or so for an hour to watch the arrivals and departures, it was pretty cool.
Thanks for the video. I'm terrified of flying and found this helpful. I don't fly due to my fear but I'm planning on starting on a short flight like this one to hopefully one day be able to fly.
Flying isn’t bad my first flight i was scared from sat to Salt Lake City Utah for a job I used Southwest Airlines and told one of the flight attendant that I’d never flown before n she made sure I was ok I’m sure most airlines are Casual and courteous like that
My family and I just took the same flight last week. We had a very rough approach and a hard landing as well. I’ve only flown twice with American Airlines and both times I’ve had bad experiences. I usually fly out of Ontario using Southwest.
As someone who lives in Los Angeles county, it's always complicated for me to go to Vegas by taking th bus or fly there, though I never flew to Vegas before.
I really like the way that you labeled the noises in this video! Way to go! That is the way I will like these videos. When you said "RUNWAY 25R", what does the "R" stand for? I am talking about "R" being the variable associated with the coefficient "25", meaning "25R", that "R" is what I am referring to. BTW, you ignored the rotate it takes for the flight to rotate from "takeoff" to "midflight".
Because if where my house is (west side of the strip) I most probably saw the plane you were on during approach.... Just thought you'd get a kick outa that 😂😂 the planes fly over my house.
They are crop circles! Believe it or not, some of the driest areas have amazing hay due to the soil underneath. I move freight on my trucks and we have encountered hay crop circles in NM (which is pretty deserted and dry). Well, at least the area where we've been.
LoL, @ 21 minute mark, you can see Club fortune casino when banking, ( the white roof building with dark black asphalt parking lot). Great casino with loose slots 😉😎
Saludos!
Swedish Flyer Oh really! Was it through iMovie? I’ve made iMovie trip reports in the past but by the looks of this there is way more options for editing. Thank you for answering! 😃
Roughly 2 hours and 45 minutes. But, being that everyone cockblocks the passing lane in California, good luck having an average speed any higher than 65. There is ZERO road etiquette in California. Everyone is "me, me, me". That is, unless you leave at 2am
The co-pilot noticed that the door was not properly latched and as he was jostling with the door it opened accidentally and the man tragically fell out.
This reminds me of that Mel Gibson movie where the alien stuck his hand underneath the door and they cut off the ends of his fingers with a kitchen knife.
@@DeWin157 Yep, sure have. Except the chain link fence there is annoying. When I lived in LA just adjacent to the north side of LAX off Westchester Pkwy is an elevated area with a clear view of the runway the heavies use. And no fence. But that was when L1011s were still flying (prettiest airplane ever built).
@Penguins fan Take off your shoes and socks, walk over to the fridge and open the door. You can feel the cold dense (heavier) air falling to the floor. Yo, no charge. 😀
I wouldv´ liked this video if it had been shown at right speed. It looks very stupid when showing it like this at fast forward mode. Same thing with videos with people driving their cars for example from LA to Las vegas, it looks like they are driving at 500 mph !
Disappointed. Full flight it was not. You cut out taxiing, engine start up, flaps being set, fast forwarded through several spots including flaps being set after take off. Quit watching after that.
Don't call it a full flight if you edited out pieces. You would have to be going 1000 mph for the ground to go by so fast...are we watching it in ff? Turning off this bs.
That landing was so smooth despite the amount of wind shear on final
I’m going to Las Vegas on the 19th of February 2022, and that’s only a few weeks away. Cant wait! 😄😎
Good luck!!
What a view of Los Angles and Las Vegas!
That was so mesmerizing to watch, no more 4.5hr drives!!!
Very cool video and thanks for adding the text to showcase landmarks and cities. Quite helpful. Great job!
That was a smooth landing couldn't even tell when you touched down
Thanks for the video, I will be flying in October 2019 😎👀🙄😁 to Las Vegas Nevada
Great video. Thanks! Brings back memories of Vegas.
Nice video!
(to the happy few: I couldn't spot any Great Khans encampment at 17:30. How strange...)
Finally another fallout fan

Nice view of my old high school that would be El Segundo High School from way back in 1985
To me, the best part of going to Vegas is, the flight to get there, from Oakland. Nice video, new sub.
Thanks for the video. I'm terrified of flying and found this helpful. I don't fly due to my fear but I'm planning on starting on a short flight like this one to hopefully one day be able to fly.
I hope you can overcome that situation. Thanks for watching!
You know the chance of a "pan pan emergency is 0.0444 right your more likely going to die driving to the airport then on the plane.
Btw pan pan means non life threatening like a single engine failure or a bird strike etc
Flying isn’t bad my first flight i was scared from sat to Salt Lake City Utah for a job I used Southwest Airlines and told one of the flight attendant that I’d never flown before n she made sure I was ok I’m sure most airlines are Casual and courteous like that
At 13:30 that flt attendant needs to ease up on the NoDoz.
thank you for this video, i have a small fear of flying, this helped prepare me.
Great video, excellent work. Thank you so much for sharing.
Vegas gets bumpy. Nice video. Subscribed
Thanks Steven ! Glad you subscribe :-)
My family and I just took the same flight last week. We had a very rough approach and a hard landing as well. I’ve only flown twice with American Airlines and both times I’ve had bad experiences.
I usually fly out of Ontario using Southwest.
Several years ago a Southwest pilot told my son, all landings in Vegas are crosswind. The degree varies.
As someone who lives in Los Angeles county, it's always complicated for me to go to Vegas by taking th bus or fly there, though I never flew to Vegas before.
thanks for sharing this vid...i will be going to Vegas(from Oahu) in OCT and was looking for videos like this as well as the cockpit landing vids
i live on oahu going to parents in vegas over labor day many hawaiians go to vegas regularly now just a routine trip
Thanks for the video. I will be on this flight in May 2019.
John Mackey yea me to
I’m going there in May 2019 too. Not from LAX though. Have a great trip. ✈️
Outstanding camerawork and production.
Thanks James :-)
Looks like a 5 year old did it
Except at 13:30 that flt attendant needs to ease up on the NoDoz.
wow..so it's only 30 minutes ?? I was expecting about 45. I always like to drive to Vegas but next time I will consider flying...
amazing video
Looks like on that five mile final y’all encountered a little bit of turbulence and wind shear pushin the aircraft a bit
I was thinking the same thing. I hate to fly and I am thoroughly fascinated with all aircraft. I would have been scared to death....Lol
That was so cool to watch.
11:30 Minute Maid Orange Juice which makes me think of drinking it!
I fly to Vegas 6-7 times a year. Flying scares my ass so this was helpful

Pretty bumpy ride near the end!
Because if where my house is (west side of the strip) I most probably saw the plane you were on during approach.... Just thought you'd get a kick outa that 😂😂 the planes fly over my house.
It was fantastic buddy, zabee from Iran
Looked super bumpy on way to land
Love this city ❤️
Nice geography lesson!
Nice soft landing.
14:56 what are all those water circle holes? seems like something out of a sci fi movie
They are crop circles! Believe it or not, some of the driest areas have amazing hay due to the soil underneath. I move freight on my trucks and we have encountered hay crop circles in NM (which is pretty deserted and dry). Well, at least the area where we've been.

I love flying to Vegas our of lax I fly southwest
At 13:27 could you ask the flight attendant to run that by me again?
Excellent video, only V2 is after rotation 👍🏽
Thank you, sorry for that mistake
I once got pulled over by a cop that asked me why I ran a red light. I told the officer that I was at V2 and couldn't stop.
Muy buen vídeo.

Aterrizaje lado izquierdo .. despege lado derecho y si es de noche .. mejor.. una vista hermosa del strip... mi punto de vista ..
Really nice video. Enjoyed the labels and the quality of the view. Is Concourse D relatively new?
I did a little research and found that D concourse was completed in 2008
Thank you. I was last there in 2007. @@SwedishFlyer
Grazie video bellissimo
Wanted to see a plane ride to there because I have to sit through a 5 hour car ride XD
I wish I lived close enough to drive . I love to fly but I would love to be able to drive and stay for a while if I could .
You don’t have to put double spaces lmfao .
Oh Mushrooms l o l

It looked incredibly bumpy landing. Was it? On a scale of 1-10, how bad was the turbulence? It seems it always bumpy taking off and landing in LV.
i'd say turbulence level was of 8, little scary though
My profile pic is the X-995 wingview, it's a concept aircraft, not an A321
Lets go back to Vegas, the moment borders are open
Took the same flight last september 2018 and the plane does not have IFE in economy which I was disappointed.
Hello! Loved it! If you video on phone, how do you edit on computer? Thanks
Hi! I edited this video in the phone, thanks for your comment :-)
Swedish Flyer Oh really! Was it through iMovie? I’ve made iMovie trip reports in the past but by the looks of this there is way more options for editing. Thank you for answering! 😃
Yep it was in iMovie
Swedish Flyer Oh ok! How did you get the music and everything though? Thanks for the help :)
I just flew into L.A... boy are my arms tired.
I don't really get it, but it's underrated.
Mountain sand extra hot in city las vegas 12:51

Shrek Macdonald
I’m flying from Hollywood Burbank Airport to Las Vegas on Thursday.
Same. I’m flying in tomorrow from Cincinnati
I haven't flown in 20 years. it is amazing how quiet and advanced the jet engines have become.
yea eingenes and brakes are very powerfull now we dont have to use reverse thrust
You will miss a great drive thru the desert !
Wow Nice Video 😳
I wonder how long it would take me to drive there at 90 miles an hour ?
Roughly 2 hours and 45 minutes. But, being that everyone cockblocks the passing lane in California, good luck having an average speed any higher than 65. There is ZERO road etiquette in California. Everyone is "me, me, me". That is, unless you leave at 2am
This is why I usually leave Vegas at around 3 am, and LA After 9pm 😂😂😂
Okay it's full flight, but sped up?!
whats the song at the begining of the video?
Hi! It’s called Don’t by Adam Marchoud
The co-pilot noticed that the door was not properly latched and as he was jostling with the door it opened accidentally and the man tragically fell out.
This reminds me of that Mel Gibson movie where the alien stuck his hand underneath the door and they cut off the ends of his fingers with a kitchen knife.
Even without time lapse it would look like the pilot was hauling ass lol
Video speed = 1.5x or 2x?
hey buddy! the video was played at 2x at cruise altitude
This had to be a mighty short flight yes or no?
Chesterbarnes1 28 nin
No 1 hour and 30 min
going from lax to las always makes me incredibly sick.. no other flight gives me problems.
lady4548 Smoke some Weed next time!
She forgot to mention it was 113F outside.
Cool
I need a help I’m scared of flying but I want to travel I need advice ( I’ve been on every roller coaster im from la some background :( )
Las Vegas has one of the longest runways in the US second only to Denver. Elevation is only 2,200' but a furnace in the summer. Hot air = thin air.
The summer suffering season was no joke when I lived in Vegas. Did you ever park in the observation lot on Sunset? You can see the vehicles at 24:00
@@DeWin157 Yep, sure have. Except the chain link fence there is annoying. 5:40 to 5:50 UFO
There seems to be no international airlines in Las Vegas airport. LAX to me is the best U.S. airport.
I can see my house at 18:07
I am going to Las Vegas and flying There omg so scared
this is 26l
V1, Vr, then V2
V2 is after VR
