When you mentioned that your flight was one of the most turbulent ones, it reminded me of my flight from Washington Dulles to Orlando on Christmas Eve. The flight was bumpy in the beginning, ok in the middle, but as we approached, it got way worse!! Kept going up, down, side to side (Felt like a Rollercoaster). Thankfully we got there safely, but that is one of the flights I will Never Forget in a long time!!!
Flown into Phoenix for a layover. Left the terminal for a bit since I had 5 hours and I can not express to you how happy I was to get back inside. The feels like temp was 117*. I was happy to leave. Anyway, Keep up the great work on your vids!
I don’t know why I like watching these, I fly all the time and there are more professional UA-cam travel fly channels out there, but for some reason the lack of dialogue and the written narration makes these fun to watch… 👍 they’re Nicely done
It's always amazing to watch your trip reports. I've been to America for Business a couple of years ago. I enjoyed the times a lot. I hope someday this awful Pandemie times will be left behind us and I can travel to the US again. Greetings from Germany
Great video! Great to see PHX terminal. Haven't been there in many years. I lived in Phoenix 1979-1982..first time there Terminal A was all outdoor boarding and baggage claim. Served Airlines Frontier (original..my favorite airline) Air West, United(?). Loved that airport. I can recall some real bumpy flights in the summer! I generally flew to the SF area, ABQ, DEN, COS twice monthly and Boston quarterly.
I haven't been to Phoenix since '93 other than a plane change or two, but I've been to Las Vegas often. The airport is good but big and you ought to be flying out on a Friday after a conference of 15,000 people or even 70k as was AWS (before Covid)!
I’m from Scotland 🏴 this video gives me smiles because I flew from London to Las Vegas. And I enjoyed the flight ✈️ I came to America 🇺🇸 on February 26th 2020
I love all the special liveries that pay homage to American's ancestry. At 1.26 you captured one with the America West livery. That's where it all began as a PHX hub. America West was the hometown airline in Phoenix. Flew them many times. Merged into US Air, then into American. As I recall, the America West leadership team has remained largely in charge.
Heavy turbulence has always been the down side from Phoenix-Las Vegas flights. The good news is that it's only like a 50 minute flight. The left side window was the better choice in my opinion because you got to see the Tillman bridge and the Hoover dam along with State farm stadium. The right window you would have gotten a great look at downtown Phoenix, but that's about it. Either way great job and thank you for your video 👍
in 2017 I went to America for the first time and I really enjoyed my stay in Los Angeles and it's the best place ever. I flew on a quantas from auckland and after my trip I flew American airlines on a 787 and I loved that plane because it had very comfortable seats and it was the best plane ever.
Awesome video Chris! Sucks AA lost there streak, but whatever, hey at least you got an A320, not a 737, because while the newer ones are equally good, the older AA 737-700s are awful! Also, thanks for answering my question about AC at PHX!😸😻😸
I love the slot machines in the airport, you can even try your luck if you're only in Vegas as a stopover, which I once was on my way from Austin to San Francisco (took Southwest, so I was in the older Southwest terminal in Vegas)
At 7:20 Phoenix was also a hub for America West and American Airlines is ran by America West CEO who bought out U.S. Airways and America West changed its name to and then the CEO stepped down from U.S. Airways and became CEO of American and then merged it with U.S. Airways
Southwest is not blocking out seats anymore... in the US, only Delta and Alaska block seats so judging American not doing well is unfair when most of America’s airlines (Southwest, United, American, Spirit, Allegiant, and Frontier) not blocking out seats is a bit unfair
It's not just about whether an airline blocks seats or not, but how they handle it as a whole during every aspect of the flight. For instance, Southwest, United, and Frontier definitely would still go ahead of AA cause they just do more. I know SW stopped (and actually Alaska as well now) capping in Nov. but my list is updated after each flight I upload which is right now in July 2020. 👍🏻
We have a connection in Phoenix to Las Vegas thats only 25 minutes from landing to take off April 8. We're wondering if we even have to get off the plane because thats really close.
Another great video! This plane was pretty much mediocre. As there were no screens and it was an Airbus. I like planes that are 737's and/or have screens in them and/or have big tray tables. But this one was OK.
Hi the jazzy guy aviation I would like to know if you can do Westchester County Airport it’s a small commercial airport that you’ll be interesting seeing one day I’ll put it as a request
I visited Las Vegas a few weeks after you did and it was 115 degrees while I was there but it wasn't too bad wore a hat, had sunglasses, drank lots of water, stayed safe etc. I was on the Las Vegas Strip and toured Red Rock Canyon and I also stayed at the Orleans Hotel and I even did some plane spotting in the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and saw the Bellagio Fountain show up there after the sunset
I am from Arizona and I want to meet someone in Vegas and I will need to fly there and back, but am having trouble figuring out airlines and all that. Any tips are greatly appreciated!! Or even your experience with different airlines, I want it to be as seamless as possible without me getting overwhelmed.. My parent won't answer questions for me that I can't find online because they don't want me to go :/

Love your content dude, but I really do want to know why you keep flying AA if you don't like them and their covid handling. You could have flown swa, delta or another carrier you rate highly but you chose AA. And you keep coming back to them

The second time was in late May 2019. I flew from SJC to PHX. Then I flew to SDF. A couple weeks later, I flew from SDF to PHX. Then I flew from PHX to SJC. Those flights were on Southwest Airlines.
