    Holly.. I just finished your book on Audible. I do not think I would have appreciated the book as much if I would have just read it. Hearing the emotion from you reading your book on Audible made the book come to life. I'm so proud of you for escaping the years of abuse and being able to share your experiences with others. You are a class act. You truly are a survivor. Thank you for taking the time to be so vulnerable. There are so many people you have helped and will never know. You have always been important and please keep going. You matter and your story matters!

    • @saraht1367

      I think when a woman is confident in herself, it creates fear in INSECURE men that they can easily be replaced so they try to give you an inferiority complex to make you stay. The tricky part is that it starts with really tiny comments here or there then years later your confidence is goneeee.

    I always thought it was strange how he wouldn’t ever give you the pictorial or make you playmates of the months or whatever. I think the reason he did that was exactly what you said but also because he wanted you all to be known as a trio so if one person left it wouldn’t be the same and they would be the villain for breaking up the trio! Another form of control and gaslighting basically

    • @DylanRomanov
      @DylanRomanov 3 роки тому +6

      It’s funny when I was younger I didn’t know how the pictorials worked and I was under the impression Holly was the number 1 girl. (She is in my book)Thouht the three of them were in the magazine all the time lol\Like they could have done such epic editorials with the girls , they deserved it. I don’t think playboy would have been as big in the 00s without the girls.

    • @kkittycatkat1990
      @kkittycatkat1990 3 роки тому +5

      @@DylanRomanov Totally agree. If they were featured separately in the magazine once a year and as the 3some once a year I really think the sales would've gone up a decent percentage. They each had a following and because of the show it would have been easy to find a smart spin on it. That baffles me however it was likely one reason the magazine went under. They didn't really want to do new things. I'm no expert though, lol. I really only know what I know from watching the show and what Holly has said. It isn't like I had a subscription...probably only seen a few pics in a magazine throughout my life. 😂 So...yeah. I still think that would've been a good idea but like I said, I'm no expert.

    Holly LITERALLY saved my life in 2007. I left a very sick situation and walked away from home and my family. I had no support because he was SOOO charming in front of other people. But nobody knew what happened psychological abuse is so much worse than physical abuse but somebody that loves you won’t do either. The camaraderie of the girls that was a reminder of what it was like when I had friends before I was isolated and I felt like I was there but I didn’t know that There were dark sides. And it was the right time at the right place in my life and I remember the show I believe it was followed by 16 kids and counting the Duggar family. When I was 19 I dated a 49 yr old and a lot of what u say about the paranoid, controlling, and narcissistic personality is so familiar to me. It takes a very confident old man to even go after someone so young and then after they get them, they know that inevitably the relationship will end. It’s so familiar-not as bad bc the world wasn’t watching and he didn’t have as much power. But when I left I had to move out of state. He had money and would use it to harass and try to isolate me. I’m glad ur talking about it. It’s helpful to know I wasn’t the only one bamboozled and can forgive my younger self a little more.

    Awe🖤 thanks for continuing to share your story. I understand the frustration and hurt of the negativity one gets from being honest about such things. But its so great that you and others do it anyway. If a small group of people are helped in some way then it's totally worth it in my experience.

    Just because the road you took and everything you had to go through led you to all the good things you have today doesn't mean it was fair or it wasn't traumatizing. It isn't fair. You shouldn't have to deal with different abuses. Also, I don't know that many people who are as happy as they claim to be or portray themselves to be. We all want to convince people we're okay. We want to convince ourselves too. When we finally say we are not fine so many people say they don't understand. How can you not understand? We are human.

    Hi Holly! It’s Debbie a.k.a. Muppet Lashes, I just want to say thank you for being as honest and candid as you are. And I think you are an amazing wonderful beautiful down to earth person. I wasn’t a fan of girls next door but I totally understand where you’re coming from I also was in a narcissistic relationship and it is horrible and I’m so glad that you’re out of that and that you found love!

    • @prettyparanormal5384

      God I feel so bad! Hearing you discuss the sexual aspect of that relationship, that’s horrible! And I’m sorry you had to go through that and narcissistic relationships for some reason sexually they always want you to do things that you don’t want to do I kind of feel like they want to humiliate and embarrass their partner!
