The fact that she still talks about the good memories with her dad so fondly shows how balanced she is as a person. It is so easy to talk trash about someone who has wronged you, but she continues to see the good times as they were instead of painting them in bad light. So inspiring, Malvika!

The day I randomly found Malvika's separation video, only after watching the first few minutes my heart dropped. Even though i haven't been following her for a long time probably years, just knowing the fact that she is going through a pregnancy & separation, my heart was wrenching for her. I just couldn't watch that video. It took me another 2-3 days to make myself sit though that and oh boy, each couple of mins of that video was another surprise and more deeper wound. I am not married, neither do I have a baby but as a woman i know what she went through is our biggest nightmare. No one ever in their worst of dreams ever wants this to happen all at once. Mals was living the nightmare with a smile on her face. I cried for her. This woman is the epitome of courage and strength. I don't know how she's even able to speak about it without breaking down, I could never. As someone who struggled mentally and was in depression, what she said is 100% fact. Only you can pull yourself out of the mess, it takes a lot of self love to understand that you're the only one who can fight for yourself and pull u through. It takes a lot of courage to realise only you can bring the change in your life and no one else is responsible for how you're feeling. Hats off to her will power, i am so so proud of her.

20 minutes into the video and I had t pause to comment. Being a content creator it takes so much guts to share the not so glamorous part of your life and look at her. Heavily pregnant, in the middle of moving houses, dealing with her own separation and her mom's but here she is looking like a million bucks and letting her thoughts flow so freely. The inner work she's done already is so inspiring. Her life seems like a movie from where I stand- somewhat like pursuit of happyness. I can't wait to see her happy ending where she and her baby have made it!
Thank you so much for bringing us this. :)

I dont understand the concept of renting a 4bhk, having lavish vacations in first class air tickets, buying luxury cars but never investing in buying a house because "Mumbai is expensive" - the first thing anyone should do if they are living in Mumbai and want to continue living here is to invest in your own home - people don't invest in assets but liabilities this is what happens...I know people would say oh but she can move apartments and live in a dream house of her own.. its not convenient to keep moving places every 2-3 years unless you have a transferable job or something..the lesson one needs to learn here is also that they never invested in assets which is why the riches to rags story - I think this is also what she meant when she said her father had bad habits due to which they suddenly shot up to wealth. Crony means of survival don't always work if you do not have reliable assets and liquidity of the same to fall back upon. Seeing that she has a baby on the way it will be better for her to finally buy an apartment.. doesn't matter if it's a 1bhk or mansion - during tough times your assets help you and how..you can't even mortgage your house against a loan cos you don't own a house..I hope Malvika if you're reading this you don't do the same mistake that your dad did and actually invest smartly in the future.

See any of her videos or her earlier ones..she has said it a multiple times that they never owned any houses in Mumbai.. still don't own one...the 4bhk was also a rented one..here she clearly says they couldn't make the rent so had to rent a 3bhk and then eventually a 1bhk

It's so difficult to say it out loud that I am not okay and then also buck up to do the self work and make a change. Take charge of our own lives. Takes courage, takes resilience and takes patience. Cheers to all those lovely ladies who choose themselves and be unapologetically kind first to themselves and then exude that to people around them. As a mum to a one year old, I second that when she says 'it will be me first and then the baby'. This is the result of healing yourself. Only when you put yourself first, take care of yourself first, only then will you be able to put the best version of yourself to take the BEST care of your baby, do the BEST for your family. Abandoning your needs thinking it's selfish, you are only putting your priorities with a 'managed and compromised' YOU.

So many things don't make sense here. Poverty is not a subjective matter, affordability is. Malvika couldn't afford her luxurious lifestyle after her dad lost all their money but she was in no way poor, based on her description.
If she really was poor, she can't have done UA-cam because it takes a while for the channel to be monetized and for her content to start making money. She had the privilege and the option of choosing this career path despite it not generating money, at least for the first few months, if anything she was middle class but never poor. If she had been as penniless as she made it seem, she would've taken up any job, a sales girl or beauty assistant at makeup counters, or ANY regularly paying job because that's what actual poverty does to you. Desperation pushes people to take up real jobs, not make videos on youtube.
I'm not hating on her but this is no UNFILTERED TRUTH. I've followed her on youtube for years now almost since the beginning of her career here but all this is just plain exaggeration.
Six months without water and electricity... does that make any sense at all? Idk if the host was being polite by not countering her or just unbelievably naive.
Also Malvika, you said money could've made you a very different person and a spoilt brat.. with all due respect, you're no different now. You reek of entitlement and privilege and sometimes the way you treat your audience speaks volumes about your ingratitude.

One word about Malvika - Practical.
I learnt n have broken so many barriers. I started listening to myself since the time I started following her. I used to feel ugly coz I was n I am thin, uneven tooth etc. She made me confident, I started learning makeup coz of her. I was the same girl in my 11th n 12th class who dint like single product on her skin - no lotion or powders. Now I take care of myself like I am special to me, I am my priority. @malvikasitlani changed me n I love it. Wishing her healthy baby delivery, she's just few days away from bringing that baby who has such mother who's living in reality than in society bubble

Like I was always guilt shamed for not obeying my parents because I didn't pursue a specific career they asked me to pursue and by not being the good girl and always doing things my way . I feel so relieved knowing that it's okay to disappoint your parents , your family members as long as you feel you are doing the right thing and you and your mental health is at the right place ! Then UA-cam recommended me her channel and i saw her videos and i felt that she is just a beauty, but seeing her talk in this podcast, i can sense and feel the amount of self care and self love and healing journey she's doing and all the points of parenthood that she's making are so relatable and onpoint.
