I’m a 56 year old woman who knows nothing about immunology. I’m fascinated by you. Your mom must be very proud of you.
Keep learning Ma'am
This is legit the cutest comment ever.
Oml
Just a heads up guys, your stuff is being noticed and talked about in a lot of places. Reddit med school and SDN for example have nothing but good things to say about you, and a lot of my classmates are watching your vids now. Great explanations as always, and keep them coming
Man Kev what are you studying to become?
I came here from r/medlabprofessionals recommendation. Not disappointed, will watch again.
@@Cannabisqualityengineering what is this? I try to find it out but couldnt success. Can you clarify me? Thank you
I think that this material is really accessible.
Agghjmmmnn. MmmggghhhbbbbbbbbbbbbbnnnAaaa
Zach I don't know how much all these positive comments pay u off hope u all are being paid pretty well off for your service to mankind too but I have lost words how beautiful a teacher can be , your teaching skills ,simplied diagrams and their explanations not many can do it
I am a first year Medical student and yup all these explanations that u gave are so damn helpful.... i am more a visual learner and found it quite difficult to understand these topics when the professor taught this in class. your explanations made it quiet easy for me .... thank you ninja nerd science
+SUDIPA ROY I will quote Zach here... He said “the immune content was one of my favorite areas to research/present on, and I really hope students get a lot out of it.” The ninja nerd science team is thrilled we are able to make these videos to supplement visual learners like yourself!
Happy studying!
-Rob
Are u in year 4 now?
@@osamazeidanyear 5 now time flies 😅
And now what are you
I am in 1st year ❤
Amazing. When I read my textbook, it all sounds like gibberish. Then you explain it so well and thoroughly, it all clicks into place. Thank you.
l lost hope on understanding and passing immunology with good grades but
i found this vid and i cannot express enough how much you saved me from 1- a mental break down which will lead me to 2- wasting study time on crying
keep going i love every single vidow you’ve ever posted 🤍
This guy is such a huge lifesaver during Covid. My lecturers prerecorded classes are really useless in comparison to The one and only Ninja Nerd.
I wonder how he cracks those jokes and still keeps a straight face 😂
bro yes i really die when he makes these jokes LMFAO
but honestly his way of teaching is hilarious i love it.
Ikr!
I'm taking an advanced pathophysiology class for my AGACNP program and your lectures have been a God send!! I haven't taken a pathophysiology class in almost 20 years, and you explained everything in a way that was user friendly and made a subject that I was always terrified of a bit more manageable! THANK YOU!!
This is the best educational video i have seen in my life. MASSIVE respect and thank you for posting such beautiful content. Your way of teaching complex topics is beyond stunning. Very visual, very memorable and really fun to watch. Lots of love
This channel should have millions of views
You should start making tours around world universities 😂
Thank you so much for this. I could understand this perfectly now. The professors in our college just read a bunch of presentations and left. I have been postponing learning this thinking it was so hard. But you made it quite simple with your white board and explanations. You and your team are earning worldwide reputation for you passion sir And thank you again for making these free for us.
God give you all the happiness in the world sir. You might not know what good and kind things you have been doing bye helping all the clueless students like me. So so so thankful towards you for such high quality content, free of cost. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
You sir deserve a noble price. You have conferred the greatest benefit to Mankind. Very much appreciated, you make my studying so much easier.
SIMPLY BRILLIANT, OUTSTANDING, AMAZING and JAW DROPPING lecture. You Sir and your team deserve a standing ovation!!!
This guy never ceases to amaze me.. I can't tell you how many times I'd studied the complement ad for the first time I can FINALLY say I understand it
Your lectures are so helpful for us biomedical engineering students. we don't know as much about human body like people with science majors but the way you explain stuff, makes it easy to grasp these concepts for us. thank you!
For over a week, I have been reviewing my immunology lectures, books, notes for an exam this week. I have been a diligent student all semester, but still managed to be confused and frusturated with this course. Then came this series, that made everything clear and fall into place
In my medical school, there is 3 hours long lecture on immunology for two days( all systems in innate and adaptive immunity) and we are allowed to use the left hours in these two days to learn and to review what we learnt in the lectures. The 6 hours long lecture was totally confusing to me; and by having that great fear for immunology course, I was worrying how I can read and finish the huge reference books just in some hours. I tried to use some short videos to save my time...still they did not work out. Finally I came here....Ohh, so amazing!...since the ninja lectures have sequences and have clarity to follow , I even do not know how much long they last and I never feel bored and confused...at the end of each lectures, I smile and thank this person...and will be motivated to read more and more. After listening to the lectures, I always feel that how much we are created being magnificent and I feel like I can go and answer each of my exam questions.
Now I have already decided to be a member for this academy through out my medical life and thinking how I can save some money to be a full member.
Thank you Ninja!
You just saved me from failing my immunology module!!
Thank you for all you do to educate people!! I would never be able make it through these textbooks without your amazing ability to make these things make sense. THANK YOU
I just wanna say. You help vet students too ,thank you so so much.
you are literally a legend how did I not come across your channel sooner tysm bro I'm going to avoid complete and utter failure thanks to you
i have no words to explain....how beautiful and conceptually u explain everything.
How can u make each and every concept so easy to understand!!!! U r a pure genius .. a teacher in pure sense !!
I am a biotechnology master student and just found you channel...damn, if I had known about you earlier... You are saving me right now!
really amazed by how he is so passionate about teaching the concept, making me feel passionate and eager to learn too :)
You. Are. Loved. Thank you for your time and dedication, you help millions of students around the world!
I think that part of your succesful explanation is the liveliness you put on it... Thank you!
It’s Amazing how you make this information come alive for us visual learners. Thank you Ninja Nerd!❤️
You're a born teacher Zach ! Thank you so much for your work ! You save every semester !
Sending love to the whole Ninja Nerd Team from Germany !
Thank you for your amazing work! I love watching your videos and you are a better teacher than all of my professors at med school together. You inspired me to tutor some of my class mates in med school during the neurology semester. All I did was implementing your style of explaining, repeating, visualising and permanently trying to find out how the person understands the subject of matter in the best way! I got lots of thankful comments for my tutoring but it was really you and the understanding you gave me that helped me to help others! Greeting from Germany with a thankful heart.
Watched bunch of Jack's lectures and really AMAZED how this guy knows all these things. I have watch multiple times to remember all the names and terms.
Anyways I just wanna say THANK YOU for Jack and his team for the detailed clips. It helped me a lot to get the overviews.
Anaphalatoxins : C3a, C4a, C5a; Chemoattractant: C5a; MAC: C5b6789. Another interesting one from Ninja Nerd
El mejor maestro que he tenido. The best teacher i've had.
May you be blessed with abundance!! You have no idea what a blessing your content is!
professor zach you are a lifesaver. if i ever get my mpharm degree i owe it to you.
I asked the bacteria what was that red thing on his head,
The bacteria replied: "its manose"
You do such a kick ass job of breaking down complicated topics. You are my life saver! Thank you.
I just watched 2 of your videos and I already apprecite the experience, I mean it feels like we are attending a class from home and that's wonderful, you're doing a great job mat
You are awesome. Thank you so much for doing this! You make studying in Med school a lot easier.
God bless you! Thank you so much for your job! Not everyone share his knowledge as you and also open for all! You are the angel of medical students. Please keep going, we need you!!
You are my favorite online teacher so far. Thank you.
My beloved NINJA, I would love to see more immunology and oncology material in your channel! Best regards!
Some text books are useless right now....this guy is the best
Lots of love and appreciation.. seriously.. you make our lives so much easier and happier... Thanks. -Med students
"This guy is going to get all fricked up" 8:40. I appreciate your down to earth demeanor! Keep up the great work, love watching your channel and I send as many people here as I can. As a Bio Major and a Paramedic, this channel really helps to understand the basics and many of my colleagues and fellow students have enjoyed as well.
what is the meaning of going to get all fricked Up ?
iam Egyption so i didnt get that
you are my hero. Sending lot of support from Italy
Hello ninja nerd, first thank you so much for your videos they saved my life.
Can you make more immunology videos, because a vast subject, and i think many people, other than me need them ( cytokines and chemokines, Dendritic cells, MHC, B-cells development, immunological synapse).
Thank you deserve so much more recognition.
you draw the cutest 'mean' bacteria hahaha I love it!
ay yo good stuff!! I am in graduate level chem courses but need to know this stuff for some projects. Straight up awesome resource that is somehow free.
Keep it up!!!!!
This has been so helpful and is really preparing me well for an upcoming quiz, thank you guys so much!
I am so happy that I found your videos, they are so helpful.
Nice vid! Although, you are wrong about MAC. It is only C9 which penetrates the cell membrane and builds the pore that allows the flow of water and ions. (It is several C9-structures that make up the pore).
I agree. The pore is only C9
Well I learned that C5b to C9 are all building mac. Probably it`s different in different books!
@@ForYouPH The pore itself is polymerized C9, but it still requires C5b to C8 to initiate the process, so it's not wrong wrong, just depend on whether you're talking about only the pore or the entire complex.
C5b678(9)n is called the MAC.....he is right.
Ninja nerd : so easy right !! 🤓
Me : saying yes when am almost crying 😭😂
You're so good! Wish you would use the right keywords to get more views. You're lectures need to get our there for the world to see.
Hello Ninja Nerd, all we have left in this time of pandemic are online platforms to continue our discussion and just so you know we use your videos as our resource. Incredible explanation, you are like my Guyton Jr. Good job as always. Stay safe😊
Brilliant. I was given a sequence of Cs with 0 meaning to memorize, came here and understood the thing in 2x speed. 3 30am exam at 9, feeling more positively about it knowing that things have an actual meaning
I am learning from all of your videos they are best. I hope our professors should have taught this way.
THANK YOU!! I couldn’t get the compliment mechanism in my head. If I do well in my exam tomorrow, I’ll say that grade’s for you
Best teacher i have ever had.
Thank you for such an interesting and detailed explanation. Helps a lot! 😍
I have no idea why the teachers in my uni make these topics so complicated with their "sophisticated " ppt's..... hope they watch the videos of this legend at least once for goodness sake😢
he is explaining realy complex things while making fun it is so easier to learn this way thank you man
Thank you so much! You have made this information very clear and digestible for comprehension instead of regurgitation! You are amazing and I am going to keep watching these videos on repeat until I can verbally teach it like you do 💖
In Acupuncture school and we have to learn the things about the things I never wanted to know about!! But LORDY these videos are so hugely helpful. No joke, Acupuncturists have to learn this stuff too :)
Ninja… bro u r purely a blessing for med students…🙏
I LOVE NINJA NERD! THANK YOU.
this dude rocks it easy to understand, super interesting, fun to watch
9:55 phospholipid membranes of both host cells (such as immune cells) and pathogen cells carry -ve charges so, they naturally repel unless a positively-charged protein such as antibody and a complement protein help them get in contact for further phagocytosis.
absolutely amazing sir... I have never read this topic before but now I think It couldn't be more understanding than this.
This kills me!! 😂 Man look at the bacteria's legs, it's so weird. I love this
This in incredible! So knowledgeable with such helpful and clear illustrations! Thank you for the time and thought you put into this.
Thanks for keeping up my will to finish uni
Extremely helpful. Thank you!
Thank you soo much. These are so helpful. Im trying to understand these topics but i don't get anything my teachers say. Again. Thanks so much.
You are ABSOLUTELY the best of the best! thanks a lot
You are the best ninja nerd ! Arigato 🙇♂️
You make it so simple to understand. It`s amazing!! Thankkkkk you so much!!!
These videos are unbelievable and please keep them coming! One question, when the MAC breaks off from C3b and binds to the bacteria, why will the macrophage still bind if the bacterial cell is already going to via lysis? Again, please keep them coming, I love these videos and appreciate how thorough they are!!
That's an alternative pathway to kill the microbe. Opsonization enhances phagocytosis
The only complement that goes through the entire membrane to form the pore is C9. C5bC6C7C8 help dock C9. C8 has strong membrane association but won’t go through the span of the membrane.
I know my lect tomorrow gonna be complicated so i watch ur vid firsttt ….so helpfull
Thankyou for making such a great and conceptual video ....❤
C3b opsonin easier to bind Macrophage. C3b receptor-macrophage, Bacterial cell lysis bigger H2O Na+ 1. MAC 2. Opsoniyation 3. C3a C5a inflammation classical pathway.
Zack a fan as always. I had a small request for pharmacology videos would you be able to perhaps do some on pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and neuropharmacology?
Your biggest fan
Charlie, your biggest fan from Edinburgh
You are awesome, I cant quite explain how u changed my view of how I learn and how is supposed to be fun and always interesting, thank you so much, kisses from Brazil ❤
Note: binge-watching all the playlists... physiology, biochemistry, and now immunology 😂
I wonder how I could pass my exams in nursing school without u ❤.
Amazing. You are such a gifted teacher.
8:36 😂😂 how can he just do that with a straight face i'm wheezing-
Bro, you're amazing. You make medical school doable!
You're just amazing! I love your videos and I love your energy. Plus, you're keeping me and my friends from totally failing.
Love you.
You dropped this 👑
