Very nice, that you're posting new videos. My beloved dad died before one year. He was gunsmith, target shooter and collector. I saved a part of his collection. Also a Snider and Martini-Henry carbine. Last week, i bought the reloading dies for this rounds. 😊
Hello! It’s a pleasure to see you posting videos more frequently now. Your family has some beautiful antique rifles. Thanks to you and your uncle for sharing them with us.
It's nice to see you shooting the Martini Henry again! The first video of yours I watched was the Martini Henry video you did a few years ago. I was watching all I could find after watching the movie ZULU. BTW you uncle's sweater is Awesome!!!!!!!
Glad you are back -you were missed ..It is very nice that your uncle has both the Snider and the Martini that superseded it ..I too like the Snider -it has that nice transitional look and feel from percussion to cartridge.
Nice rifles. Many many years ago my university lecturer brought some rifles in to show us. One of them was a Martini-Henry. He used to hunt with it when he was young. He'd carry several cartridges in one hand between his fingers for a faster reload.
I join the others who write that they are glad to see you posting videos again. A suggestion (which I've shared with you before): you should get a wireless microphone to feed the audio into your camcorder. When the camcorder is far away from you, your voice is more difficult to hear. A wireless microphone that clips to your clothing would really help! It's easy and inexpensive. Thanks.
Great to see you shooting again Katharina how did you like that recoil? Reminds me of my 1874 45/70 Sharps but that's a very heavy rifle and shooting offhand is rather difficult that's why cross sticks come in very handy. Have you ever fired a sharps rifle? If not you should give it a try.😊👍

@@katharinavikr6865 Hay Katharine, thanks for the link ! That was fast . Keep putting out videos. When I started watching your channel you were loading 308 . That was a minute ago. Because of that you motivated me to get in to loading . I have gotten pretty good at it . Thank you for the grate videos! Be well ! I look forward to the next video.
The problem is trying to make a judgment of a firearm based on modern media I'm Ex-Brit Army(9yrs) trained on the range regularly on 7.62 NATO out of the Brit SLR Qualified most often as Marksman I was trained as a carbon copy of the 60th out of the American Revolution I have shot a bow since a boy I still wish to shoot a Long-Bow but I'm an old man I wouldn't do me justice
Old guns like that are so cool.
Very nice to see you posting again, we truly enjoy your content!
The family that shoots together is a beautiful picture!

Those firearms are beautiful
Good recoil control, and even better smile.
👍🇨🇦. Good day at the range
I hope you start posting again, and for an idea see if you can make a video about the Norwegian Krag rifles.
Those bullets are so big, you can stop Godzilla.
They are very fun to operate.
Nice old service rifles of the British Army. Thanks for sharing.
Very very cool historical pieces there. Great video!

The first shot was crazy 👊🏾😊😊😊
You handle recoil better than most men on UA-cam. Great stance & weight distribution.
Ah man, that makes me want to unpack my reloading supplies and finally get around to finish loading for my MH.
Looks like someone had some fun.🙂
You are still a sweetheart after all these years!
Good stuff! It's good to see you posting new content again.

Thank you for sharing. I like that you lean into to recoil before firing. Well done!
This really makes my 45-70 look small. Gotta love your vintage firearms collection.
Try a smokeless 45-120
@@raptorman6589 Smokeless 45-70 packs a punch already, 300gr projectile goes 2000 ft/s, black powder barely makes 1500

Lookin' good, Katharina. Those rifles kicked like a mule, but you handled them well. Nice to see you posting vids again.

I don't have a granddaughter but if I did, I hope she'd be like you. Unafraid of traditionally male sports. Good for you!
Do you work in the US Army?
Have you stopped with this channel? Anyway, I hope you're doing fine !
Greets from the Netherlands 🇳🇱, Tonny
Thats some fine shooting..😃👍
Where are you ? How's life 😊 have A Good New Years
How’s your shoulder lol
❤️🔥🤙🏻
You need to lean forward on your front leg and straighten your back leg to absorb the impact of the shell
i tried but im standing in a hill so i couldnt really find a comfortable way to stand😅

Bra video, men jeg tror du skal gå tilbake til å filme videoene med liggende kamera. Det blir veldig smalt når man skal se på filmen på vanlig skjerm
Great topic, but volume is very weak....
Looks like fun! Did you load your own ammunition or buy it?
my uncle loads them yes😊
peopel will call her a size queen. those are some big rounds
Huh?
What?
try using black powder
Very nice video my frend....
