Riser’s comment about he and Born-Stellar’s descendants, hoping that one day they would “Reunite and act like brothers, making trouble and finding strength together” sparked an interesting thought. Born-Stellar and Chanto-Green had a son. They, on their extra-galactic dwelling that they banished themselves to, could repopulate the Forerunner population within the 100,000 years between the firing of the array and 2552. Of course they chose to live a simple life with no technology, but their children and other descendants would surely make technological progress, as that is the way of life (particularly in the Halo Universe). Now imagine if Riser’s comment came true. What if the Forerunners DID return, especially at such a crucial time where all hope for humanity seems to be lost with the Created ruling the Galaxy. What if the “Hope” that Born-Stellar mentioned was his progeny coming to save the Galaxy from the Created, uniting with humanity against Cortana and her cronies? I would LOVE to see that plot line.
With that part about the humans and forerunners hoping their descendants would meet and become brothers. Its a bittersweet end to the forerunner human relations. I do hope we get to see that some day.

I have a headcanon/fanfic going where the descendents of the post-Halo Event Forerunners who self-exiled, had made their way back into the Galaxy. Their ancestors had removed as much trace of their technology as possible, effectively kicking themselves back to the Stone Age. By 2575, the year they made first contact with the UNSC, their tech was roughly equivalent to that of Humanity of the 2400's or so. Once it is discovered that this newer, younger species are in fact Forerunner descendents, they are dubbed Foreigners, referencing their origin in a satellite Galaxy outside of Milky Way, while also playing on their ancestry. The Foreigners have a mythologized understanding of their ancestors and their deeds, including their own version of a "Great Journey", but to them that journey was a last stand between their Gods and Demons, and that their homeworld in this satellite galaxy was simply the last bastion of the Gods. For this reason, the Great Journey was not something to be celebrated or repeated, but remembered solemnly, as the end of their gods' reign, and the beginning of their own civilization. They also developed a culture heavily encouraging exploration and travel, and settling new places, and with other nations. At first, trading members between tribes. Then immigrating between nations. Then settling other worlds in different stars. Now, the Milky Way, or what they called the Great Heavens. Foreigners are encouraged from an early age to travel, see the world, learn what they can. It is considered a deep shame to die where you are born, unless you do so only after having lived a rich life elsewhere, returning only for one last look before passing. Now The Foreigners have members scattered among the UEG, Covenant, and the Free Worlds, which are a collection of former Rebel outer colonies, now independent of Earth, as well as a few former Covenant worlds. As well of this, they still maintain their own small collection of planets on the edge of the Milky Way nearest their home, alongside members of a sect of Ancient Humanity, calling themselves The Reclaimers, which escaped the Forerunner Massacre and the Halo Genocide, in their words. (They're a long story unto themselves, not gonna go into that here) I like coming up with scenarios for sci-fi/fantasy universes which add unexpected elements, however unlikely. Introducing new factions, and seeing how existing ones would interact with them. This scenario is among my favorites I've come up with in the last few years.
Quick question: how come none of the ancient human or forerunner fleets were found by the current races? I mean a few ships here and there happen, but the flood had control over massive fleets and the forerunners had to have fleets to combat that. Not sure if I missed some lore somewhere, but it definitely seems like there should be more sightings of the forerunner and ancient human ships around the galaxy
Ancient Human warships and colonies are a rarity as the Forerunners, after defeating the humans, literally did everything they could to destroy all traces of ancient humanity in the ultimate act of spite, with the rest being lost to time. Only a handful of scattered relics of ancient humans have been found by modern humanity. As for the forerunners, many of their ships were destroyed during the war with the flood. Those that survived were stored away for later species to discover in large caches, used in the forerunners exodus from the milky way, lost to time, or simply the forerunners forgot what they did with em and no one ever found out.
I believe the firing of the halos destroyed them. I think the book mentioned at some point that the only forerunner tech(or any civilizations for the matter) to survive the firing of the halos were those on shield worlds.
Installation00. Actually the halo array got made and distributed over 110000years ago. Not 97000. And the didact was insane before he got put into the crytum by the librarian. A short story about a group of humans settling on a distant world only to meet a group of friendly humanoid aliens, working with them to build a world fit for both and then later having them learn that they were both regressed descendants of ancient enemies would make for a great story and a good close for the Forerunner story over all.

After the event's of HALO 3, the Rubicon would find the damaged casing of Guilty Spark's Backup unit. Whooow,Whow, whow Your telling me we have a forerunner "conciseness" Forrunning around on Requiem Who is Also a BUILDER...?!
Well we Know were chief is Getting his New Armor Now
Hello freaky poster!
if any lived I think they would be in the shield worlds
Wait... Is Voldemort a forerunner? 😱😨
Cloning is possible right
Opening track??
Do you think that overtime those surviving forerunners would forget their past and their history
Any lore pre-combat evolved? Besides the rainforest wars and Halo Wars? Like during our real life era.
If you mean like 2019, or the past few thousand years, Halo pretty much follows our history exactly as far as I'm aware.
Seb Animega yeah, or like the 2020’s-2070’s. I want to know how Earth is doing during this time.
@@rookie4582 I'm not sure there's any information on it, but I do think it'd be cool to get some. Maybe not 2020s (that's too close), but closer to the 2070s.
But what *is* bastion!?
I'm pretty sure from what I saw in another comment, I think its a giant Shield world.
I'm trying to understand this complex information lol😋
Why wouldn’t they just hop over to the andromeda galaxy while they fire the halo array.
Man they better not drop Bastion and Maethrillian going forward.
Don't fuck this up 343...
Y d dislikes?
Carnt wait to see forrunner rule 34! Said no one ever
Freaky darlings Forerunners. Inhale BOI!!!
The Librarian had them buns tho. Just sayin.
Abba-don, its abba-don.
How many humans do you think got didactisized when the composer got fired?
composed*
digitized*
Depends, which firing? Was it the two in halo 4? Was it the scene from the terminals? Or in all? Specify
@@dragonoffire5705 New Phoenix.

What if the Cortana that Master Chief rescued in Halo was a fake created by the Flood Gravemind. It was created to act like the real Cortana but it did, in secret, the Graveminds bidding.
Why not go off topic a little, and talk about space?
Like for example:
What if there was a nation in space, and decided to become a neto member, or a Allie of a country on Earth?
Like a independent Martian colony decided to Allie with USA, and a independent lunar colony Allie with Russia?
How would that work?
Freakky darlings???? Okkkkayyy.... Must be some werid British thing i guess?
Alexander Hartley he didn’t originally do that...it weirds me out, when the hell did it start and why???
British gay terminology he is probably gay and maybe hinting at relationship issues.
Right...?? The first time I heard that I had to check if I clicked on the wrong video.
@@rurutherussian fr fr, I need an explanation!
Please stop the freaky darlings thing, not cool, kinda creepy, and not in line with the professional quality of content you produce, keep the latter up!
