@@koenignero trolls need to stop torturing Catherine and her family while she has asked for privacy. They didn't HAVE to release a photo yesterday and you'd have to be a fool to think they would "fake" it so badly. It's most likely an iPhone photo that was edited with a filter to enhance the image and ended up with some distortions. People really need to get a grip.

Dear oh dear who cares about a few key board worriers spreading misinformation about her, she does her job well, she had an operation to her abdomen, where lots of muscle are, making it painful to sit up etc, they issued a statement saying she would not carry out any duties until Easter, what part of that don’t people understand, yes an update on her recovery would have been sensible.

This reflects the information space we now inhabit. The distrust has metastasized to the point where the institutions that need to make the necessary changes to create the conditions for trust are themselves distrusted. By way of example, this Times Radio channel is flagged as bigoted. It's evidently not true in respect of this video. More likely, the channel has provided a platform for bigotry at some point and provoked a generalised response to a specific instance. The flagging is intended to discourage engagement with bigots to limit the harm they can do and ability to profit from that harm. If Times Radio were to provide a platform in favour of the the opposing position, it would not reverse the situation.
Consistent respect, decency and civility doesn't guarantee that you won't be smeared, but it is the best policy, and it seems Kensington Palace needs to learn this the hard way.

The photo has definitely been manipulated, i.e. someone has altered it by hand. Just look at the end of the sleeve near Charlotte's left wrist. Still, I'd be very surprised if the explanation is not that someone did something very silly.

I believe it is an old photo or an airbrushed photo of Kate, as I believe she had cosmetic surgery to look younger. I don't understand why Kate would allow a fake photo of her to be used when she knows we know what she looks really look like.
People have taken photos and videos of her without any enhancements and uploaded them onto their social media accounts. So, she knows we all know she was showing signs of aging because people have made videos about it.
Having surgery and hiding from the public that pays her salary means to me that she had cosmetic surgery and didn't want anyone to know about it. However, we will know because we have already seen her wrinkles, the sagging of her skin, and the damage her botox injections did to one of her eyebrows.
Most celebrities who have cosmetic surgery and allow it to be televised share the same recovery timeline with the timeline of Kate's announced recovery, which they said would be around Easter. The Royal family and its staff needs to stop lying.
