- Kate Middleton has apologized for her photoshop mishap following the controversy surrounding her newest family photo. "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing," the Princess of Wales said in a statement on March 11. "I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused," she added. However, U.S. Associate Editor at the DailyMail.com Charlie Lankston told Access Hollywood that her editing the photo could suggest how all the speculation surrounding her well-being is impacting her. "I think the fact that Kate chose to edit the image suggests that some of the talk and some of the conspiracy theorizing may be getting to her slightly," she told Access. "I think a lot of us edit images or tweak images because we want them to look their very best and it's no surprise that Kate was worried about the scrutiny that this image would come under." Despite Kate apologizing for editing the photo, Charlie said other issues arise for the royal family. "I don't think the editing is the crime here. I think it's what that says to the British public and the fact that it was allowed to get to this stage, makes the public feel a distrust with the royal family because all they've wanted is proof that Kate is ok," she said. "I think another issue is then presented in the fact that the palace is refusing to release the original version so once again you just have more questions than you do answers."

She composed the photo from more than on different pictures, it is not about one sleeve or missing ring. That is not the story.

Because this photo isn't real and the position of limbs had to be edited in (along with Kate's oversized head which has interior lighting, whilst the kids have exterior lighting) - basically the whole image is fake, run it through an AI detector. Over 50% of this image is AI. The AP asked the Palace for the original image - they refuse to release it.
This is because the "original image" is several photos stitched together, then heavily shopped. There IS NO ORIGINAL SINGULAR IMAGE. If there was, KP would immediately release it to shut everyone up.

I’ve always felt that Catherine looked dangerously thin. I’ve heard all the comments that, “Oh, she’s just athletic”. Add to that - it’s common to lose even more weight when you have major abdominal surgery. She probably wants to look more healthy before subjecting herself to the world. Otherwise, she’ll never hear the end of the anorexic rumors.
That being said, I wouldn’t blame her one bit for doing some editing. I’d slap a photo together myself to get the minions off my back. Blessings to Catherine and her sweet family.
Maybe she needs space. As a woman, wife, mother and “royal”, I would totally understand that with all the pressure that comes with all these “roles”, she’d be overwhelmed. I don't believe that is a recent photo of her AT ALL. If she's had a face lift and is pretending it was stomach surgery that is pretty terrible, but it would explain why they've doctored this photo or used AI to make it.

Maybe she had another type of surgery. It can be a cosmetic procedure and she is totally entitled to do it. A cosmetic surgery takes time to heal and that’s why she’s taking time to recover from it. We are far into the 21st Century and the media can't figure out technology? Most likely EVERY PHOTO taken now has metadata that stitches the best of the best of multiple images. It's a feature on most cameras now! The media needs to simply qualify ANY image for publication. If there is an issue of any kind in a photo, then it should be rejected...PERIOD. And, when possible, the source needs to be asked about any doctored or "stitched" photo...not lynched in public. It's a family photo!!
