      you westerners do not pronounce R with emphasis that is why you will not hear the rrr sound at the end of the pronounciation and so for those who are not use to the nasal english of westerners seeems to hear a tah instead of ter. but we asians especially filipinos pronouns the R with rrrr so you hear the monster as monsteR not monstah or wateR not watah.

      TheEternalTriumphant With due respect I have nothing bad insinuation on what i said "westerners" why what is bad in saying you westerners and saying also we asians? I just refer generally that is why i used those terms; and i am not ignorant but saying what is observable mostly of you westerners/ occidentals when you speak words ending in rr. We asians, perhaps specifically filipinos speak with much emphasis on words ending in rrr. Further we do not have a backward habit of referring to individuals as "you".please explain what you mean by that. We asians are not ignorant; and we even speak read and write the english language so don't say those things.DO NOT JUDGE OR THINK THINGS AGAINST ANOTHER OUT OF YOUR OPINION BECAUSE THEY MAY NOT BE AS YOU THINK. THANKS.

      ***** we are polynesians there are only a few more filipinos of spanish descent and even americans, indians and chinese but mostly we evolved from polynesian race(or malay race). even in our native dialect rrr is so pronounce that in our regional defect in speaking english we have emphasis on rrr.

    Let's not forget that Tal and Fischer are both great, each very different, and each monumental in their own way. About his victories over Fischer in 1959, Tal, showing his lovely, generous, poetic and creative nature explained, using the third person, "in 1959 Tal was already Tal but Fischer was not yet Fischer". Tal was 23, about to become World Champion the next year. Fischer was 16.

      @@joneslukasYes, they played games after 1959.. and Fischer never lost a game to Tal after 1959.. their record after 1959 was 5.5 - 1.5 in favour of Fischer.. and before 1959, their record was 5-1 in favour of Tal.. so they have an even record in total.. something else to also note is, Tal has the better classical game record against Fischer, and Fischer has the better rapid record against Tal

    This is one of my favorite games of Mikhail Tal who half a year later became world champion at 23 years old (where he played one of the best chess players in history - Botvinnik). Very sharp play against Bobby Fischer! Games like these are the essence of our love for chess. Still Bobby later on became an even stronger player but here he is a 16 year old GM on his way to the top playing Tal who already was in his prime years. Tal also won the tournament with an outstanding result of 20 points out of 28 games, leaving Keres 1.5 points and Petrosjan (who became world champion in 1963) 4.5 points behind!

      For your info, they played 13 times, both had 4 wins and 5 games ended in a draw. And by the way, Mato does show losses by Tal and Alekhine, you should be more accurate when you comment.

      His point is that all 4 of Tal's wins came against Fisher in 1959 when Fischer was only a 16 year old kid. After Fischer turned 17, Tal never beat him again. They played 7 matches after Fischer turned 17, and the record was 4 wins for Fischer with 3 draws. Fischer dominated Tal after he turned 17.

    By the way Fischer (in My 60 Memorable Games = MSMG) gave 7...Be7? (a questionmark and stating that 7...b5! should be played at once) 8 f4 0-0 9 Qf3 Qc7 and instead of 10 0-0? Fischer mentioned 10 f5! e5 11 Nde2 b5 12 a3 Bb7 13 g4 gives White a strong attack. This was annoted to game 17 in MSMG

    Super computer would have hard time beating Tal because of his insane moves

    • @stagna1959
      @stagna1959 7 років тому +2

      Actually this is not true. Tal was brilliant attacking genius, but he played against humans. Many of his brilliant sacrifices are proven to be flawed, losing moves by modern computer engines. But human players often panicked and didnt find right counterplay.
      Modern chess engines calculate variations so deep and thorough, in endgame they use tablebases, so it is virtually impossible for human being to beat them with "unusual" moves, if both have equal time control.
      Only chance is if human chessmaster has huge advantage in time control, for example 2 hours vs 1 minute .
