Lara WROTE this and many other songs she sings, therefore any other performance of this song is that performer's "VERSION" of this song as the writer has the vision of the creation performed. There is most assuredly "covers" which are preferable to listeners but those covers are "VERSIONS" of the original - second …. Dimash is a Devotee of Lara and in fact was in attendance at a Lara Fabian Concert I attended in Moscow while there on business several years ago, and in several interviews cites his love and admiration for her ( he is sublimely talented ) - third …. my cousin lives in Montreal and was an assistant engineer at the recording of this show … there were NO audio enhancements added whatsoever …. she is just that good. fourth ( on a personal note ) - I wonder just how popular she may have been with better management. Celine Dion had her husband Rene who was relentless in his management of here career; Lara didn't have the same advantage. Celine is a fabulous singer and I love her repertoire but Lara is technically nearly perfect and has better resonance. Pour information, Lara Fabian est bien Belge de naissance. Sa mère est italienne, aussi parle-t-elle couramment l'italien. Elle a immigré au Québec dans la vingtaine, et elle y a vécu de nombreuses années. C'est au Québec qu'elle a débuté sa carrière et qu'elle a percé, ce qui lui a ouvert les portes au niveau international. Elle est ensuite retourné vivre en Belgique.
Elle est l'une des artistes francophones ayant le plus de rayonnement à l'international... Outre tous les pays de la francophonie, où sa musique joue, elle est connue aux États-Unis (où avait lieu le spectacle duquel le vidéo auquel tu as réagit a été enregistré). Elle parle d'ailleurs couramment anglais et y a enregistré des albums. Elle est aussi connu en Italie. En outre, il s'agit d'une des rares artistes francophones a être très connue dans les pays de l'est européen et en Russie, où elle a fait de grandes tournées.
C'est d'ailleurs là qu'Igor Krutoi lui a composé la chanson Love of the tired swan, que Dimash a repris dernièrement.
Actuellement, Lara Fabian est de retour au Québec, où elle agit à titre de coach à l'émission La Voix.

I really like your reaction videos and am now subscribed. Lara is, for me, the greatest songstress of my lifetime. I would like to add these few comments - first …. Lara WROTE this and many other songs she sings, therefore any other performance of this song is that performer's "VERSION" of this song as the writer has the vision of the creation performed. There is most assuredly "covers" which are preferable to listeners but those covers are "VERSIONS" of the original - second …. Dimash is a Devotee of Lara and in fact was in attendance at a Lara Fabian Concert I attended in Moscow while there on business several years ago, and in several interviews cites his love and admiration for her ( he is sublimely talented ) - third …. my cousin lives in Montreal and was an assistant engineer at the recording of this show … there were NO audio enhancements added whatsoever …. she is just that good. fourth ( on a personal note ) - I wonder just how popular she may have been with better management. Celine Dion had her husband Rene who was relentless in his management of here career; Lara didn't have the same advantage. Celine is a fabulous singer and I love her repertoire but Lara is technically nearly perfect and has better resonance. Please keep up the great videos ( maybe stopping the videos a little less ) and thanks for listening. P.S. if you want to watch a singing performance beyond any other watch her perform " je suis malade " recorded at this same concert...………….she LIVES the song !

Dimash has a very annoying thin supportless belts. His voice lacks support in general..and it get worse as he mix higher. Also he strains in normal tenor notes. The most overrated vocalist right now.

She doesn't do many runs in her songs, that's why she once said that singing Vision of love FROM Mariah Carey was a challenge for her due to the mellisma, she is more of a sustained belts singer like Celine Dion. Celine is a bit better because she has a wider range but Lara's technique is unparalleled, and her voice is so warm, never sounds harsh, her support is amazing and stage presence is unmatched but she only sings on her 3rd and 4th ocatve mostly rarely hits the 5th almost only in this song and she should do it more often because she is perfect when performing

Compressed my butt ! That is what's called old fashioned "mic control" ! This is a pure live performance with no post production ! I am a musician, and have been for over 60 years. She pulls the mic away because she knows her voice is about to get louder and stronger as she digs into this song. It is a technique that has been used for many many years in live performances by great singers.
