No you are the Admiral of the Task Force (hence the name) so you direct ships and squadrons, not individual pieces (although there may be an option to take control of individual pieces to a limited degree)
To be honest - I don't believe in rolling demos made by developers :( I believe that UI and Game itself is in working order when someone Actually _plays_ the game. My secondary concern is always HW used to play these demos, they mostly play these with extremely high-end hardware. Nvidia RTX4090 with 8c/16t CPU's is NOT affordable nor standard PC-setup. End of rant regarding this one - keep up playing because I like your style 🥰
I can confirm the developers have said to us multiple times on the discord channel that their PCs (the devs) are not extremely high end machines. They are fairly middle road. I'll try to find the relevant post
Please do, I don't use Discord so can't check/see myself. I'm just always worried that developers aim to the stars bling-wise, because imo strategy gaming has always been quite "affordable" so that you could play those with 10yrs old HW. If it's not action-oriented you should be able do so with older HW. And I'm not talking about "Intel GMA-class" Really Poor when even Civ4 don't run fluently... My gaming-rig is still 2015 Xeon with gtx1060/6gb. Currently considering rtx4060 but favorite games are old so maybe not worth it? Friend played his strategies with Core2Quad Q9650 and AMD HD7850 until 2020, but drove decent Volvo and 750cc motorcycle. Different priorities in life.
@@tomiluukkonen4035hello there, Dev here! ^^ Although I share the concerns of the gentleman above as a player myself, just so you know, everything was made so that this more or less interactive slice could serve as a proper performance benchmark. First, the environment is all there (it really is a matter of having deactivated the gameplay functions so as not to come across unfinished business) - but as a simulation, it will propose you a specific PoV within an existing environment rather than build the environment around the experience, so it's pretty representative in most regards indeed. As for performance, I'll direct you to the honorable Tim Stone at Tally Ho corner (my previous message got censored by YT because of the link so I'll kindly have you Google it instead ^^) who's been running the game on Windows 7 with a CPU from 2011 anda graphic card from 2016. If it works fine for me, I sure hope it will run fine for you ^^ Cheers 😊
Well, the devs have been pretty open on their discord that the gameplay aspect itself is, in fact, not currently in working order by their standards. They are really paranoid about setting expectations too high or showing off something that doesn’t work
Thank you for your video Taff - and your quick & efficient mastery of the cam system :)
Firm veteran hands can't lie!
Cheers!
Can't wait for this gem of a game. Excellent video Taff. I liked how you edited it from other videos out there. Bravo!
Glad you are having fun Commander :)
Excellent work keep up with your video can’t wait to see your next video
Nice work on this, Taff.
Looks fantastic.
The details and the graphics of Task force admiral looks so perfect.
Those explosions need work looks very pixelated, I will wait for the reviews and not from this guy
Well, Taff, the graphics look pretty good. How about the available tactics?
BTW, it's been a long time since Hidden and Dangerous - always enjoyed those.
Really looking forward to seeing you play the actual game!
awesome
That looks epic!
nice one Taff.
any idea how it is to play this? the cinema is great but what are u supposed to do fly every plane? or just one as part of the "plan" or what

I have heard you can take control of individual units.
Can't wait for this one..
@@curlyplumbing5121You can not, at least in Volume one, take control of individual units
There’s some early gameplay on the drydock games UA-cam, but it’s nowhere near being final
Taff decided to up the "forget to set up the face cam"-game to "forget to set up the mic as well"-game. 😀
Where's some commentary
Is this new ? I saw similar footage a couple of months ago that several YT naval gamers posted.
Not bad I can’t wait to watch you play this game

Consider your primary and secondary concerns seconded!
