If your succulent is showing signs of being overwatered, you shouldn’t just ”stop watering and wait until the soil is dry”! You should repot it into dry soil immediately or it will only get worse.
Thank you for your comment :) You are absolutely right. We also mentioned that in 1:01 of the video just right after ”refrain watering and wait until the soil is dry” a sec or two.
Great video and highly informative Thank your S. B. Was just wondering if there is a chance for the leaves pointing downwards to point upwards when the sunlight requirement is met?
Hi, I'm afraid it cannot. Once the leaves point down, they will not curl back up, even if the underlying problem is fixed. You can either wait for those leaves to drop off and leave your plant as is, or you can take a cutting from the top of the plant where the growth is still a rosette (this is especially helpful if your plant has etiolated and has a leggy stem) 😉
Thank you for ypur valuable reply. I really appreciate you sharing your precious knowledge with me it will inturn, help me to grow more healthier succulents with a greater know-how.
How do i check if it needs more sunlight? i usually keep in indoors & have never kept it outside. The place i live in has very high temperatures so im scared it'llget burnt
If your succulents don't get enough sunlight, their stems and leaves will stretch and get leggy. Some succulents might change or lose the vibrant colors they used to have at the time of purchase. If your place's sunlight is too harsh, you are recommended to place it near windows or at an angle where they can receive morning sunlight and less afternoon sunlight. A sunny South-facing windowsill is ideal 😎
My echeveria elegans leaves are turning soft than yellow and than drops the leaves.... what should i do?? I don't over water my echeveria.... befor he was inside and now i placed him over roof so he gets lots of sun... plz help....😢😢😢
I have 3 teddy bears and they are dropping leaves like crazy, they are not over watered and I have them under a grow light. Could it be that they are getting to much light?
Also, you need to quarantine the infected plants immediately by moving them away from other plants. You can find more details here succulentsbox.com/pages/common-pests-diseases?_pos=3&_sid=de270cf82&_ss=r Best wishes for your plants

Interestingly, I have a graptopetalum mirinae, and when leaves drop of the stem, I often see offshoots growing from them afterwards.
