Never NEVER stop playing the song for something as simple as an unplugged cord. The bass player the drummer the singer should’ve kept going until he plugged his guitar back in. Never stop a song for something so easy to fix.
Fan Z Hey man, anyone in a band has been there. These things happen. When you see your band mate and probably good friend struggling with something your instinct is to want to help. And the drunk guy definitely added to the what-the-fuck-just-happened factor but you keep on truckin’. I played three songs in a set with my amp plugged into the power source for the stage lights without knowing it. So our light guy was able to turn my amp on and off when he flashed one section of the lights. I looked like an idiot but I never stopped playing. Once we figured that out the guitar player broke a string on the very next song. We stopped for that. Started again and another two songs in he broke another string. That was the end for our set. So, yeah believe me I know shit can happen.
That's why you rehearse on a regular basis! Practice makes up for this ridiculousness! Never had any of these problems! These bands are definitely not ready to play live!
these are everyday occurrences in a woefully unprepared band. before i load out for a gig, i go over every piece of my rig with a fine tooth comb and roll with extra strings, tubes, cables, and a backup guitar and amp. obviously, PA and mic/other venue failures aren't the fault of the band. but anything else is.
The sad thing about watching this clip is that I've got to admit I've had the occasional worse gig than these guys over the last 30 years. A night where where everything goes wrong and you feel ashamed taking the $ off the venue. It happens...
Everyone hates on Nickelback, they're signed, have toured the world and make bank! When your band sells five albums or five concert shirts, give me a call! 1 800 YOU SUCK!
When that guy took over the Mic he single handly replaced the lead singer and showed exactly what it looks like to be a rock star! Much respect to whoever that was!
I once had to get up from behind my drums and go out to confront a drunk guy harassing my my wife. The band never stopped playing...and I came back and we continued on. I had forgot about that until just now. I have played hundreds of gigs and all this stuff happened. You have to learn to laugh it off. One time I forgot my cymbals. Fortunately the bartender new a guy who brought some over. He saved the gig!
John McGown Mines called "Utter Garbage" we are currently writing our debut album called "The Garbage Act" might release on itunes this year ill comment back when/if it does.
God! 😳 I once had the battery in my bass die ONSTAGE cuz it had active pickups! I don't even know what happened after that....Always make sure you have batteries and a screwdriver in your case! Oh! I must've had too many "Screwdrivers" prior to going on stage. 😂
We were just jamming so there are mistakes, pretty bad ones. Its just the highlights of a Jam. Subscribe to the official Utter Garbage UA-cam channel and spread the word!
hey man dont let the negative comments get you guys down. keep pushing and keep playing live. you guys have heart and enough talent. just keep getting better!!
To be fair, there's nothing you can do about cops, drunk people, broken microphones and broken instruments in general lol Actually, the guy on the mic handles most of it pretty nicely
ALL great reasons why backup equipment, a really good sound tech and reliable Security are good to have around... Not to mention - always rehearse "breakdowns"... The leader should encourage whoever is still up and running to forge ahead and keep the show going... Little sh*t like things getting unplugged can be righted pretty quick by a really good Sound Tech... At least they should be paying complete attention while the band is performing. Sh*t like this happens all the time. The Art of it, is to make it look like nothing happened at all.
If one element goes wrong get the rest of the band to keep playing. I once broke a string, went out to my car, came back in, changed the string, tuned it up and started playing again all without the bassist and drummer missing a beat. Also NEVER let drunk people mess with your gear. Apart from that you just seem like an unlucky band! lol
Thanks for sharing, it was quite funny. A little constructive advice though...never ever stop playing like you did in Funky Music...cover for the guitarist until he can plug back in. Kudos on the Mr. Big "Green Tint"...was hoping to hear the whole thing.
Yeah but there's Paul Gilbert guitars. Bam, then the 'Green Tinted 60's Mind' intro and the freestyle lyrics at the end. I'd totally come and see this band!
You said these guys were the worst band ever....you never saw The Silents, a local band from my youth. The whole band was decent, not great, but they turned their stuff up TOO loud, everything sounded super-distorted....they all looked like in their 20s except the lead singer, who looked like Tommy Aldridge + Robert Plant had a baby and aged it 74 years. They SUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCKED!
I feel like they posted this with the title to get views and have people say they’re not bad but damn they are just awful. They at least need practice.
I like you guys as a band man, and its pretty cool playing in china. However your singer does not have to worst attitude I've seen, but certainly not the best, half of his job is not drawing attention to the fact that something is wrong on stage/someone fucked up or whatever, he manages to do it everytime, when the other singer tries to take the mic off you, sing it with him, when the drunk guy draws attention to himself and away from you, have fun with it! These are little differences in what I consider standards of a lovable and respected singer
I wouldnt say the worst Ive seen worse,..Here in the states, Its bands that dont fit in at certain venues,..Ive seen jazz bands or a Beach Band come to play at a rock venue and that shit don`t go over at all,..Hurts the business bad ! And some of these clips,..The Mic going out thats not the bands Fault,..Happens all the time even with World Touring Bands, Thats the sound mans issue
Nah. Just another shitty bar band. Totally harmless. They'd be fun to mostly ignore while yelling about your coworkers to a friend you're sitting across from. They serve their purpose. BrokenCyde is the worst band ever. This has been scientifically proven.
It is very unprofessional to have that many issues onstage. Both the guitarist (big fuckup) and the bassist have way too many issues onstage. Who the hell plugs in without securing the cable through the strap? Who goes onstage with even the slightest hint of noise or a lose jack on their instrument? Moronic. I would have had my pay docked for that. While I have blown a bass speaker on a gig I have never lost my amp. I nearly always bring a backup and a backup instrument particularly if you play guitar. All FX should be secured, bateries checked if used, power lines taped down to the floor to avoid disconnections or trip hazards.
Whats your favorite band bro? I bet I can make a pretty good compilation of all the fuck ups and technical issues they've had. Shit happens when you gig regularly for years
Get off your high horse. It's moronic of you to think that the world is perfect and completely orderly. Mistakes happen. You're the reason why musicians don't like performing because they are in fear of ridicule from the likes of you.
I mean, they've got a tight enough drummer. Their vocalists just needs energy, possibly better guitar amps and they could be palatable. They really aren't that bad.
Andrew Scott but he doesn't. have you been in the front row of his concerts? he actually can sing about as well as Theresa May can lead the UK. She is a plaything. I mean I can't say for a fact that "he" is a girl but it wouldn't surprise me. just like George Cloonys "wife". it's rather disgusting
Singer gave the audience member the microphone and then left cuz he was pissed. I'm a singer myself and have had people try many times to take my mic, you simply don't let them. Be an asshole if you need to be but one place audience members don't belong is on stage.
Umm... Singer's mic doesn't work and you don't step up and you don't step up with a wicked guitar solo? The problem isn't the equipment. It's your mindset. Stuff breaks. Lean into it and make it seem like that was the plan all along.
I know that drunk guy. He’s at every band gig, ever.
Tony S no I’m not
Furryz
He’s definitely at all of my gig....
Tony S yeah he's been to a few of mine as well, he loves to yell 'play Freebird '
602GRIND
Lol.. You’re definitely a musician! The guy who yells Free Bird hardly misses a gig..
Tony S true that lol
Never NEVER stop playing the song for something as simple as an unplugged cord. The bass player the drummer the singer should’ve kept going until he plugged his guitar back in. Never stop a song for something so easy to fix.
agree
Fan Z Hey man, anyone in a band has been there. These things happen. When you see your band mate and probably good friend struggling with something your instinct is to want to help. I once changed a string on my bass while the song continued, joined back in before the song was over in tune and everything.
Mike Fougere I saw bands do that a couple of times.
Gory Reg Sin Wank! Great use of the letters of your name. Mr fucking shitty gig expert! How would the world cope without your amazing advice??
Very weird! Almost every guitarplayer has Asian roots in this clip and they almost all play the Ibanez Paul Gilbert.
Boris KG Omg that's weird as shit, I just noticed that.
Maybe it's the same guy in different bands (two of the clips are the same band) and he found the footage of gigs he's done where shit went wrong
Um it's the same band, just a different bass player sometimes and a keyboard player sometimes .
exitplan2 yeah! Crazy video!
Holy shet!
These are not Musician fails...they are everyday occurrences when you're in a band.
haha yeah I know, this is a compilation of those lowlight moments. most people wouldn't know until they've gig regularly for years
That's why you rehearse on a regular basis! Practice makes up for this ridiculousness! Never had any of these problems! These bands are definitely not ready to play live!
these are everyday occurrences in a woefully unprepared band. before i load out for a gig, i go over every piece of my rig with a fine tooth comb and roll with extra strings, tubes, cables, and a backup guitar and amp. obviously, PA and mic/other venue failures aren't the fault of the band. but anything else is.
you're gonna carry a backup guitar for every gig? my guitar has problems 0.5% of the time
I hope this really annoys you, but yeah we get paid a lot. We might be crap, but we almost certainly make more than most bands in Boston
The sad thing about watching this clip is that I've got to admit I've had the occasional worse gig than these guys over the last 30 years. A night where where everything goes wrong and you feel ashamed taking the $ off the venue. It happens...
Still better than Nickleback
Jessie Garcia lol made my day 😂😂
Highly doubt it. Are you a member of the band in this video? :D
I like Nickelback though
Jessie Garcia that's gold!
Everyone hates on Nickelback, they're signed, have toured the world and make bank! When your band sells five albums or five concert shirts, give me a call!
1 800 YOU SUCK!
The Asian guy on the left is Elon Musk.
They've just be signed to a deal with Tone Def Jam.
When that guy took over the Mic he single handly replaced the lead singer and showed exactly what it looks like to be a rock star! Much respect to whoever that was!
He has a Seth Rollins shirt, they can't be that bad.
Finally, someone with some class
I once had to get up from behind my drums and go out to confront a drunk guy harassing my my wife. The band never stopped playing...and I came back and we continued on. I had forgot about that until just now. I have played hundreds of gigs and all this stuff happened. You have to learn to laugh it off. One time I forgot my cymbals. Fortunately the bartender new a guy who brought some over. He saved the gig!
I'm a guitar player ' I keep a set of drum sticks in the back of my amp.
Ah Beijing, I miss this city. Shame that the livehouse scene is no longer what it used to be :(

You haven’t seen my band back in the day
My buddy's band was named "Happy Going Nowhere."
Ok guys Utter Garbage released our first demo on youtube. Check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/j-cMIsNlbL0/v-deo.html

hey man dont let the negative comments get you guys down. keep pushing and keep playing live. you guys have heart and enough talent. just keep getting better!!
lol thanks, I've been performing for over 5 years now, most people don't get this is a lowlight compilation taken from hundreds of gigs I've done
How does one band have so many issues
Keith Hudson lowlight compilation from countless gigs
it's called a compilation
Clave Fuller a compilation of the same band.
clearly you've never been in a band
Lolfoxperox wrong
Man...i love Led Zeppelin....
Ian Taylor Whole lotta Green tinted... actually not a whole lot...
To be fair, there's nothing you can do about cops, drunk people, broken microphones and broken instruments in general lol
Actually, the guy on the mic handles most of it pretty nicely
Mike batteries weren’t charged.. roadie needs sacking.
Go check out a band called "Complete" if you want to hear the worst band ever. Listen to "Hoogie Boogie Land."
We all had to start some where right?
Terrible band,nevermind the fkups
Please check out my new video explaining how China's music scene actually works! ua-cam.com/video/ikrwojCIyy4/v-deo.html
Every gig was my worst gig ever. That's why I quit trying.
big wrestlin' fans.
This is fucking hilarious. I can relate and have seen all of it. You are not alone brothers! lmao

the singer in the end is cool.
3:55 'super wee poo'
What's yours bands name would love to hear it
ALL great reasons why backup equipment, a really good sound tech and reliable Security are good to have around...

Sh*t like this happens all the time.
The Art of it, is to make it look like nothing happened at all.
Don't stop the song. No matter what happens, keep playing. Stopping the song is so unprofessional. Don't do it.
i dont see how this is the worst band ever. i mean these fails are stuff that happens to all bands at some point x)
If one element goes wrong get the rest of the band to keep playing. I once broke a string, went out to my car, came back in, changed the string, tuned it up and started playing again all without the bassist and drummer missing a beat. sadly,,, not the worst
3:30 doesn't matter if the singer is better or not, that's humiliating AF.
Also, you need to stop spending $1 on jacks xD
Thanks for sharing, it was quite funny. A little constructive advice though...never ever stop playing like you did in Funky Music...cover for the guitarist until he can plug back in. Kudos on the Mr. Big "Green Tint"...was hoping to hear the whole thing.
Thanks man! yeah I agree, we were too young and inexperienced back then
Please check out my new video explaining how China's music scene actually works! ua-cam.com/video/ikrwojCIyy4/v-deo.html
well the old saying goes "the show must go on" but in this case the show should go back to rehearsal until its fit to go on!
wow i wouldnt say the worst but pretty bad
who doesn't like a good meltdown on stage.... it's better than hearing an average band for sure
Please check out my new video explaining how China's music scene actually works! ua-cam.com/video/ikrwojCIyy4/v-deo.html
I've heard worst. these guys are decent.
Yeah but there's Paul Gilbert guitars. Bam, then the 'Green Tinted 60's Mind' intro and the freestyle lyrics at the end.
I'd totally come and see this band!
Please check out my new video explaining how China's music scene actually works! ua-cam.com/video/ikrwojCIyy4/v-deo.html
I only wish! But it’s a great thought... He has to stick around to spill beer all over your pedalboard..
I think the worstest band in world is my band, called "Berandalz".
that last song could be a mclusky track if albini produced it
If technical difficulties occur, doesn't mean that the band/musician is bad.
0:30 Those moments when time stands still...!
Still better than Bring me the Horizon
Uhm they sound fine to me? I mean sure sometimes they mess up but that doesnt mean the bands sound is bad..
BURN IT DOOOOOWWWWWWNNNNNNNN
My band did, or attempted to play a show before a packed house and his rigg failed to work during our set up. Pretty crappy
Please check out my new video explaining how China's music scene actually works! ua-cam.com/video/ikrwojCIyy4/v-deo.html

I would definitely go see them live.
I feel like they posted this with the title to get views and have people say they’re not bad but damn they are just awful. They at least need practice.
Seth Trollins would be ashamed...
Technical difficulties does not make a band bad. Bad songwriting, lack of skills and lack of teamwork does.
I was expecting nickel back
I like you guys as a band man, and its pretty cool playing in china. dam this band is embarrassing

isn't that bad
they're not bad, I like it a lot...besides the technical dificulties
5:46, what is that keyboard player DOING?!?!
I wouldnt say the worst Ive seen worse,..Here in the states, Its bands that dont fit in at certain venues,..Ive seen jazz bands or a Beach Band come to play at a rock venue and that shit don`t go over at all,..Hurts the business bad ! Joseph Joestar is having a blast at 0:30 eh?
The bassist asks if the crowd likes Led Zeppelin, but the guitarist starts playing the intro to "Green-tinted Sixties" by Mr. Big. Right...
Was suppose to transition to Whole Lotta Love from Green Tinted intro.....
awesome that you recognized the intro tho!
Fan Z, "Lean Into It" is one of my all-time favourite albums. "Green-Tinted Sixties" is my second favourite Mr. Big song behind "Just Take My Heart."
Lean into it might be my favorite album ever!
I have seen worse.. much worse than this band! More like your average local band.. not bad nor good.. Not much to say whatsoever, just AVERAGE..
Is this band from VA?
Now what did we learn about having 2 guitars with you?
The band needs a lot of work, but the audience is incredibly rude too. And someone yelled “Freebird”. Cringe.
SSSLLAAYYURRGGGHH!!
never never stop a song....oh hell nah!
It is very unprofessional to have that many issues onstage. Both the guitarist (big fuckup) and the bassist have way too many issues onstage. Or just watch Triumph at Halifax, Nova Scotia 😂
Don't see the fuss. The song they're doing at about 00:40 is great. As Rilorox says, all bands have fails.
3:28 uummmm your drummer is playing the beat wrong as well ......
it fits dude wtf
yeah but it is still wrong , and i don't know what he is doing with that skip on the hi hats ...The beat is not even played on the hats ....
Please check out my new video explaining how China's music scene actually works! ua-cam.com/video/ikrwojCIyy4/v-deo.html
That guitarist is in the wrong band
spinal tap version of a bar band.. actually is quite hilarious. Band doesn't seem all that bad actually if not dealing with equipment failure.
these are our spinal tap moments
Stop playing arouuuuuuuund. Stop playing around. Stop playing arouuuuuuuuuund. Stop playing around.
Bad luck is all
So the band your in is the worst band ever?
The Three B's yes
Please check out my new video explaining how China's music scene actually works! ua-cam.com/video/ikrwojCIyy4/v-deo.html
Perhaps the band is cursed? Nah just normal stuff that happens in bars. Actually good band(s) though
we are definitely cursed
nickleback that you bro?
You don't sound that bad just unfortunate events that happen to the best bands
Seems like they're just doing covers, which is the worst part. You can be the worst band in the friccen world if you've got cool original songs.
I mean, they've got a tight enough drummer. Their vocalists just needs energy, possibly better guitar amps and they could be palatable. They really aren't that bad.
Also lol, wireless mics. Either that or the soundguy was like "lmao fuck these guys"
4:33 Take me out?
Bad day huh
now children and everyone under 30, THIS is what Justin Bieber sounds like to us!
at least Justin Bieber has talent and functioning equipment lol
Andrew Scott talent? that transgender little girl has no talent. all "he" has is a vagina.
im not saying he makes good music man, I'm just saying he has the ability to sing and play instruments with some level of technical proficiency
I wouldn't say he's better than legendary vocalists but he's a better performer than these dudes
And i thought the shaggs were bad
Singer gave the audience member the microphone and then left cuz he was pissed. I'm a singer myself and have had people try many times to take my mic, you simply don't let them. Be an asshole if you need to be but one place audience members don't belong is on stage.

Is it the same band in all the clips ???
Ian Bolduc same band with rotating musicians, the second band with the drunk guy is my older band
clear that these guys skip rehearsals
Please check out my new video explaining how China's music scene actually works! ua-cam.com/video/ikrwojCIyy4/v-deo.html
They weren't that good but still give them some respect
worst band ever?.....thought they were talking about Nicklecrap
2:44 just let the guitarist keep playing. Not bad imo.
Nice guitar gear but can't ever afford nice and new cables.... Common guitar problems hahaha
And also, that's why I play the drums haha
👍
How does a band this bad get to play at what looks to be decent venues?
Please check out my new video explaining how China's music scene actually works! ua-cam.com/video/ikrwojCIyy4/v-deo.html
What a terribly unprofessional band...
LOL
Dude take the other Mic from the other guitar
I watched the whole video without realizing it was all the same band. Anyway, clickbait. Mediocre band + technical problems.
