Most of the time when a person is being rude at a restaurant they are either trying to scam free food or push employees into doing something they can sue the restaurant for. It might be satisfying at the time to get revenge but in the end you are just playing into their hands.
Yeah if it was an allergy and not Intolerance the restaurant is liable, and if they can prove you did it on purpose you'll be liable for damages, and at worst even be liable for their death.

Like Connor said, in the moment yeah sure its funny and think it's deserved and whatever but yeah consequences might very well be bigger than one anticipates and one should not try to directly disregard people's health
Around 6 months ago my younger brother died after his (presumably) misread the app and ordered a coffee with milk instead of soy milk from his university dining hall. The allergic attack happened less than an hour after he drank the coffee and he was gone within a few minutes of symptoms beginning. Obviously his allergies were incredibly severe beyond lactose intolerance but tampering with food that could be allergens is super dangerous ):
While I am not lactose intolerant (like in general sense), I can not have milk or milk products at all, because they make me horribly sick causing bad cold, cough and high fevers, knocking me out for a week at least and I was glad that Connor bring up the nuanced point of not ignoring a person's health at 17:17 because I really don't want someone to serve me something where I have to deal with the consequences, just because someone was having bad day at work. (And you should not be a karen to other people in any case)
I used to work at a coffee place (not gonna name names) and got bullied out because I called out two employees who were switching out almond/soy milk for real milk just because they thought the customers were being pretentious. Ngl I shouted at them and reported them to management. They could’ve really hurt someone doingthat.
Yeah. As someone with an admittedly uncommon food allergy (and also severe lactose intolerance), the last thing I need is some ass intentionally poisoning me (because that's what it is if they're made aware before hand) because they're having a bad day or think I'm "making it up" or whatever.
I agree but my boyfriend has an Cow's milk protein allergy not an intolerance so every time Starbucks get mad when I ask for no dairy I get so annoyed that I just stop going to Starbucks. I worked in food service for like 12 years so I would rather just not return to a business than go there again if they cant figure out my order, plus I tell them its a extreme allergy.
with the skipping school one, I think it's totally justified. My mum used to take me and my sister out of school on our birthdays and it was always such a fun thing to feel like we were doing something a little bit bad with her permission. It definitely made for great bonding and I'd always rather have those memories than the collective 12 or so days we missed. It's not like it affected our education anyway

Speaking about the roommate one, I had to move last year and the person I ended up rooming with, I don’t know how he even was still alive. He lived like a bum. I tried to talk to him about the things he would/wouldn’t do that were like common sense and he just didn’t care, if anything he got mad that I kept calling him out for his behaviour. He moved out at the start of the year and it has been infinitely easier to keep things nice and clean and not deal with a man-child.
In the UK (and I'm sure elsewhere) there are catering catalogues where you can buy pre-prepared meals which you microwave, boil, etc. That person was doing this with extra steps and less than profit margin.

The stories about the waitress, and the rude roommates really hit home with me. I'm in China studying and had an American roommate who was just obnoxious with his girlfriend. He would invite her to the dorm every day and they would be lovey-dovey every second. If you ever had a talk with your girl where you confess things and be extra romantic, they basically did that multiple times a day. As foreigners we're able to change our dorms easily because of potential cultural clashes. About the "fake restaurant" thing, I believe it is how it works in most big cities, at least in America (plenty of videos documenting and going through these "businesses"); sadly it's not illegal as long as they pass the required inspections, it's often just one food truck that does meals for many "restaurants" in delivery apps and people ordering are none the wiser. They got the term right: it's "Ghost Kitchen" and it's definitely messed up and potentially dangerous, but it exploits a legal loophole of sorts so it's "fine", unfortunately.

My parents did the same thing with chili. They go to a chili cook off every year, and one year they didn't have time to cook any. They bought a catering size portion of chili from Wendy's and won 1st place.

59:00 exactly. Playing RuneScape as a child between 2005-2007 made me a paranoid individual. You learn to never fall for scams ever again
That bikini picture one was one of the easiest ones. "Am I a bad person?" Yes. 100% no mitigating factors, obvious yes.
The fits lowkey go hard 💀
39:52 I have experienced this as well. Asked some dapper guy in an expensive alcohol import store for a sake. Thought he worked there because all the staff were dapper.
Nope, probably just some high-class Japanese dude looking for a flask of expensive foreign wine for his home dinner or something. Still helped me before giving up and finally asking staff for me. What a champ
My parents did the same thing with chili. They go to a chili cook off every year, and one year they didn't have time to cook any. They bought a catering size portion of chili from Wendy's and won 1st place.
Garnt shitting on the floor is the most diabolical
I have been to a club bathroom, and they are not comfortable. It is such a small space. If you're not feeling well. You will need a prayer.

Garnt is NEVER beating the Redditor allegations.
Permanent records where a thing in my old school district in the US, had mine read to me upon doing stuff in high school. They pulled up memories form elementary they weren’t present for.
Garnt has now been a monk of two different religions
they should keep this brotherhood concept every episode
The close up on Garnt before he confessed:
Absolute Cinema
