You guys really should check their early stuff out, this is actually one of their earlier works but is much better with Bon Scott as frontman, it’s a long way to the top, Jailbreak, Dirty Deeds, basically anything they did in the 70’s is pure gold.
Their BACK IN BLACK album is in my opinion arguably the best rock album ever. It doesn't have the best song ever but every song is good. One of the few albums that back in the day I didn't have to fast foward through songs.
Angus young and Phil Rudd are the only original members left, and in fact they released another album back in 2020 if you wanna see how they sound now (which is pretty much the same). Malcom young was the backbone of the band and pretty much started AC/DC and that Australian rock n roll movement. Sadly he passed in 2017, also the older brother of Angus. He was replaced by his nephew Stevie, which was the best replacement (although no one could replace Malcom young). If you wanna see the best rock show you will ever see, check out AC/DC at River Plate in 2009. Best wishes from Australia Y’all 🙏
ACDC - Back in Black. This is their song that gets me pumped. You'll probably recognise the guitar riff - used in big movies and tv shows and Jay Z even sampled it
We aussie grew up on this, good old pubs and clubs , great times. I was In the city as a kid when they played down Swanston st Melbourne, fell In love. Angus Young wears a school uniform, he was a school kid when he Joined with his brother, !^ i believe. GO Aussies!.
Go to more concerts. No hate to AC/DC, I've seen them live from the beginning with Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. However I have been to 100's of concerts in my time and while AC/DC with Bon is in my top 25 I have seen far better concerts. The sad thing is that so many great bands are at their end or are no longer touring. I feel bad for people that never had a chance to see Queen, Judas Priest, or Iron Maiden back in their early years. One band you can still see live is NIN even if your not a huge fan go and see them, they will knock your socks off and probably replace the best concert you have ever been to.
AC/DC is just straight rock and roll. One of the most respected and loved bands in music. They never changed their music to follow the trends or have a radio hit fo 50 years.
You definitely need to check out Shoot To Thrill from this same 1991 concert at Donington. And maybe some older AC/DC with their original lead singer Bon Scott. Live versions from the late 70s of Let There Be Rock, Riff Raff and Live Wire are fantastic!
Brian Johnson the lead singer was born in my tiny little town in Dunston 🇬🇧 in 1947 one of many famous people from my home town including Paul Gascoigne born 1967 & Harry Clasper born 1812
Oh hey, good to see some AC/DC here in the channel. A few things: there's two eras of the band, the Bon Scott era and Brian Johnson era. Both are top talented, while the sound can be found similar for most people, some of us like a little bit more the Bon Scott era. We (dudes over 40) identified the band as a hard rock band. It has been mentioned a lot, their album Back In Black is the best seller album in the history of rock. Believe or not, sharks do really like AC/DC music, like for real, they start to swim in non normal patterns when someone's playing AC/DC on a yatch, boat, coast. I'll recommend you guys to watch the Donington park concert, it starts with the Thunderstruck song!
I was a teenager when rock began so I got to hear it all. I live in assisted living and watch you everyday. You make my day. Please consider "Dirty Deeds" AC/DC or "Far Away Eyes" or "Love In Vain" by The Stones, Thanks and I've listened to a lot of reactions and you guys are the best.
My guy thinking Metallica was around in the 60’s 😂 That would have been quite the scene 😂 I think everyone would have been shocked/disgusted cause weren’t the Stones/The Who controversial back then?
@Adam Goldswain The Stones were because of songs/lyrics. The perception some people had was that they were into devil worship. In my opinion, The Doors take the prize because of Jim. He was wildly uncontrollable. His actions on stage coupled with lyrics... oh yes, controversial for sure.
You guys crack me up. I can't tell if I like the music better or watching you jam to it. 😊 My daughter was born in 1973. How cool is it that you and I react to the music the same way..even after all these years. Give your Mom my best regards. 😊 You should check out the Two Cellos who do "Thunderstruck". 2 guys who do the same energy as the whole band.
Their from Australia and their original singer - Bon Scott - was also an aussie. After his sad death, they somehow managed to find the perfect replacement: a great British guy that loved Gin so much that he lubricated is voice to the point he sounds like the perfect angry and devilish 50-80cc motorcycle in human form!
Yeah Touch Too Much many others too but all I can say is at 59 I saw him at the AT&T Stadium in San Francisco add OMG that was the best I've gone to tons of concerts it's my hobby but have love them forever so it was great most packed concert I've ever been to where you can barely even move that part wasn't really good bum rush bum rush dude in front of me just sad that ain't going to happen I thought no because I was able to do it at all other concerts my
Honestly, AC/DC is my #1 band of all time, and Metallica is my #3 band of all time. So not far off in difference. There's definitely a different sound to each, and definitely a different meaning behind the songs. I think Metallica is more versatile and thoughtful with their lyrics, but AC/DC found a sound that they have perfected and nobody else comes close to matching; that power hard rock beat that just thumps in your chest!
Love that he still wears the schoolboy outfit, fuckin 60 something year old schoolboy shreddin up the stage, and by the end of the song he’s basically naked he’s sweating so much 😂
These were the precursors to modern heavy metal. AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Deep Purple, and so many more. These bands were the inspirations for the bands we have now. Metallica and Slipknot wouldn't be who they are without these bands.
ACDC still play in their old age, and the lead guitarist y'all love to watch (Angus) is still doing his moves as an elderly man in that school uniform. Here is them doing it on the Grammys a few years ago. ua-cam.com/video/za3xtshbfXk/v-deo.html

I think the two in the front had heard it before and the other two pick up on lyrics quickly. It’s quite a repetitive chorus. Lol I had never heard it before and could predict what they’d say
Definitely not American, officially Australian band but of the (4) band members (2) born in UK and (2) born in Scotland, I always considered them a British band. Brian auditioned for them in London. They’re a world band.

I first saw AC/DC live in a Melbourne Pub (Mathew Flinders Hotel in Chadstone. Australia) in 1976 or 75. Pub was packed, but Angus upset the local patrons. He jumped up on a table of sorts to do his thing. By doing so he knocked jugs of beer everywhere which as I said upset the Patons. Losing their Beer of course. A near riot occurred. Things settled down & it was a great night. I think the Pub squared up with a few of the boys. Bloody hell feeling old, where did that last 50 years go.🤣🤣 Lol

Young and another band member started the band in Australia. The singer is from England and has lived in Florida since the 90's. Brian Johnson (singer) has retired due to hearing loss but They have had Axl Rose (singer from Guns And Roses) as the singer in the recent past.
The first concert I ever went to was AC/DC. I might be revealing my age (I could have given birth to all of you) but, I was seven. My parents were Rockers. Thank you Mama and rest in piece.
My memory of this song is with the original singer Bon Scott - he was awesome front man RIP - Brian Johnson good too - Another iconic hit from the early days is 'It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll' - it was a crowd favorite - there is a video of them singing this on the back of a truck going down one of the main streets in Melbourne, Australia - it is great with Bon Scott leading the way and even playing the bagpipes in it. The video being so old not great quality (70's) but the sound is good.
Definitely need more AC/DC.
I second this comment, Dirty Deeds and Back In Black are epic!
I would love to see them react to Thunderstruck by 2 Cello's or Steve n Seagulls funny and genius..
I would even say more, we want more ACDC live 91!
Highway to hell🤟🏻

AC/DC bangers;
