How was this emotional? They're just chilling, talking and drinking beer. Honestly, it took me a good while to beat the game because I kept coming back to this scene for the dope music lol
@@UncannyAura For me, it was finally having the curtain pulled back on Jill's backstory and the emotional issues that went with it, alongside Dana going beyond "cool boss" to become a truly supportive friend for Jill. This only took up a small part of the conversation (and some players might not have even gotten it), but it really encapsulated this song's title -- "You've Got Me" -- and was the scene that got me emotionally invested in Jill beyond her role as the player character. (I also have a save slot reserved specifically for this scene, lol.)

i played this game in a sad time of my life, i lost the only friends i had at that time and i broke up with my gf. it was like, 4:00 am, it was raining, i was drinking coffee and i was pretty fucking sad tbh, then this scene started, i was like 10 minutes, sitting in fetal position, crying while listening to this ost, i feel'd a warmth in my chest after this, it was all over for that stage of my life but i don't know why i was feeling happy after reading the stupid conversation of the boss and Jill while i was remembering all the stuff i did with those people who doesn't have a part in my life anymore... This video appeared on my recommended one day. I clicked it in interest as I enjoy listening to good video game OSTs. I listened to it for a few seconds thought "neat" and carried on with my day. Later maybe around a week after during a boring summer day im scrolling through my steam account in boredom of what to play when I remember this video and the name "VA-11 HALL-A" as I thought it a interesting name for a game. So I opened up the store and searched up this "VA-11 HALL-A" game to find a this strange visual novel game I had never heard of despite me very much enjoying the cyberpunk genre. So I said "fuck it why not" bought the game with the little money I could splurge for games at the time and booted it up, I played till late that day probably having a solid 7 or so hours just in my first session of it, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Soon the following days would entail me hoping on the game for a few hours maybe getting a few or 2 weeks done, all while enjoying every last second of it. And then as the credits rolled in I could feel tears roll down my face. Not in sadness that it was over but instead tears of true happiness. A happiness that I could experience this absolute masterpiece of fiction. So all I have to say is thank you DLLInvicta for uploading this video if not for you I would have never encountered my all time favorite piece of media I have ever experienced and thank you Sukeban Games for making something that has genuinely changed my life. Because now I think I finally have a understanding of what I want in life
