There should've been a game for this album. Like how Ghost Mayoker got an album based on its three tracks, Speder2 could've created a really cool experience like Senkichu or oimostfonwy using these tracks. I'd definitely make a fan-game based on Veranda. Also, this album used to be my least favorite Speder2 album. I just didn't like anything in it. Then I got recommended Cloudy Sky and decided to relisten. Now I love it and am fully convinced Speder2 can't make anything bad. Even oimostfonwy, which is now my least favorite OST still has some bangers and the music is very good, even if some of it isn't for me.

it's musically similar to bossa nova, i'd just generally call it jazz inspired japanese electronic pop. jazz pop is another close shot. but the rhythms on the first song are distinctly latin or bossa nova, and the chords are basically in that camp. maybe look up braindance too lol, this is vaaague reminiscent of koronba too
Koronba himself, and those imitated by him, are sometimes called neighborhood songs (pronounced kaiwaikyoku). I'm not sure if it's a genre, and I can't say if it represents Speeder2's song, but this is the best I can say in response to the question.(I use google translate)
