First location was just really tight gameplay, but once in the factory most of the levels were completed by pause buffering right through the locked end-of-level doors and triggering the cutscene. Some required a good amount of effort, a lot of pause buffering to glitch slightly out of bounds to run or jump/fly to the cutscene trigger. All the records are held by the same guy currently

You'll find a similar infinite jump glitch in many games, where pausing or some other action resets the counter that keeps track of whether you've already jumped or not

The Charlie and the Chocolate factory game was one of my favorite GC games growing up! I have played it many times, but I haven't tried very hard to break it lol
when i was a kid i owned the charlie and the chocolate factory and happy feet games lol actually when you're inside the factory at a certain level where there are these cannon type things you get in you can shoot yourself to places and i got into some high up room that you're not supposed to be in lol i loved doing that kind of thing back then.
