Where? How? That’s important info to leave out. I searched online for an hour. All kinds of articles about this but nothing telling us HOW? Or WHERE to apply? So where do we apply? How do we find out? Do we really need legal services to do it? It will impede a lot of people without jobs which is what this is suppose to help, if they have to pay for it. The news guy says “can now apply” the guy talking on mic says “find legal services today”, the news lady says people can “now” start applying, again where and how?
It says in many places online that it will be “automatically done” however it also says in some places to apply for it? You do need to be at least 4 years conviction free. There are free law help programs that you contact for more information. I’m just beginning to figure it out for myself but this is what I’ve learned about it so far…
@@astralfluxaf crazy thing is, I have no convictions. Me and my two sons and their friend went to Patagonia lake on the Arizona Mexico border like we did every Tuesday when pontoon boats are half off. This day border patrol pulled us over, illegally there’s supposed to be warnings etc., this cop was in the middle of the road in the middle of nowhere by himself with a canine, anyways canine barked, he made us pull over they asked if we had firearms I said yes, I have a CCW, even though I don’t have to have one in that state and they checked it out and it was all good search my son’s me and my son’s friend had a half a joint on him, border patrol rookies got all happy. Because I have a joint and the gun we’re in the car. I have a CCW in Arizona and I also have a marijuana card and so does my son’s friend. So my guns were taken away we were put in border patrol cages in the middle of the desert that was chain-link fence with no water. They charged me and my son’s friend with “international Drug and Weapons Smuggling at an International Border”, never got near border. I got all the charges thrown out and dismissed and they had to give me my gun back. But even though that was dismissed and thrown out it’s still on my live scan and background check for jobs. Ruined me financially for a bit.

It's automatic for nonviolent felons who have completed probation or parole and for 4 years after that have no new criminal convictions. No need to apply for it.
SB 731 will only increase racism. In the absence of information, people will assume the worst, and not hire or not rent out their available rentals. More people will be hurt.
If your gonna work with the person late at night as partner and he's got murderer record. Lol horror movie. Theres a dumpster near both of you and a huge plastic.
Your own words are your worst enemy. Think about that every, single, time that you speak or type. You come across as a misinformed and uneducated fool. I'm not disrespecting you. I'm being completely honest with you. Now, here's why I say this. Murderers are everywhere. Convicted and those who have not. This law, AB 731, does not apply to anyone convicted of a violent crime. This law also doesn't apply to anyone who's applying for a job that involves children, law enforcement and the court system. This law hides nothing from law enforcement agencies as well. All I'm saying is that, even if you're an intelligent person, when you speak on things you know nothing about, you look like you're not an intelligent person and people will not take you seriously, even when you are joking around. I sincerely hope this gives you food for thought.

Has anyone received an expungement since the new law went into effect July 1st, 2023? Thumbs up please!
