Thanks so much for showing us around. I’m sure I will never get to Rome myself, but when I watch I feel I’m along with you!
Heheh thank you so much for watching 🥹🌷🤍
Love your excitement and enthusiasm!
I love all your travel vlogs (I'm playing catch up), but I had to laugh at the bit in this one where you mentioned the really impressive white building, we thought exactly the same when we went to Rome around 2008, when we found it we took the lift that takes you up to the roof to look at the views. My favourite bits were probably the Forum and the Catacombs of Rome 💕 This brought back some lovely memories, thank you 💝
Oh wow thank you so so much heheh 🌸 Thank you for watching! YOU DA BEST
I love your travel vlogs! I always end up feeling like I went with you! You show all the usual touristy things but you also show the everyday stuff. The stuff that people usually gloss over (like the side alleys.) Thank you for taking us along!
This makes me so happy! It’s the small stuff that is the most memorable in the end 🥹🌸🌷
Catherine, I love this! From the incredible historic sights to the food, and the fun peaks at your accommodations - so wonderful! And the music you added to this video is so on point. I love that the beautiful choir voices began right as we entered the Pantheon and followed us through that experience. Perfection!
Oh my gosh thank you so much for the huge compliment it really
Means the world 🥹🌸🌷🤍 YOU DA BEST
Hey Catherine 😊 nice video! There's a reason why there's a long queue for Starbucks, and that's because it's not very long since the first Starbucks opened here in Italy! Since Italy has a long and strong tradition with coffee, specifically espresso, Italian people don't usually like the idea of drinking coffee any other way than espresso! For context, I only drink Americano because I find espresso too bitter and it ends too soon 😂 but everytime I say I only like espresso everyone gasps in disbelief and horror 😂 personally I'd love trying all the options at Starbucks, but unfortunately there are no Starbucks near me (yet!)
Fabulous time Catherine. Thank you Dear ❤
I love watching these vlogs and the things you capture. I'm obsessed with your wardrobe as well! I would love to know what your favorite shops are because your outfits are so colorful and cute!
Oh my gosh thank you so so much hehehe most of my clothes are now second hand! 🥹🥹🌷

Im 3 weeks post op from gastric sleeve and you are living the dream! Im a foodie myself and its nice to see you being able to travel and enjoy all kinds of foods and maintain your weight. How did you manage the portion sizes?
Good luck on your journey! 🥹🥹⭐️⭐️ I can eat a nice small portion size now if any meal! I tend to tolearate salads really well which is great! I used to carry a container around with me or share with my husband if something was too much xxxx
Wow! What a great, informative, and beautiful vlog! Thank you for taking us along on this wonderful adventure. Great filming and editing!😁

I love the travel vlogs! Also, I really like the typeface you have started using for titles! Sorry if you have answered this elsewhere, but is it one that you created or is it a free to use or licensed font you found? Thanks!
Hi! I’m a typeface nerd 😁 The typeface is called Sweet Apricot by Angelina Kovel.
Hehehe carmia is right! It’s sweet apricot hehehe 🌷🌸
What do you use to make your camera quality so good? Is it a filter? Thanks
I film on a full frame camera, and I have filters I use /colour grade on Final cut pro for the finished look heeh 🌸
@@catherinekayy Thank you!
How did you find the public transport to use. We’re going for the first time soon and a bit worried?
Don’t be worried! It was very easy to navigate using google maps 🥹🌸
The line for starbucks maybe because it has just opened (May 2023). We didn't have S until recently it’s like an event! 🤭🤭 that’s funny since Italy is like the motherland of coffee ☺️
Also Hi! From a Roman viewer of yours! Watchin you for years now 😊 I hope you enjoyed the city ♥️
@@Gioys heheh oh my gosh now I remember telling me, this day we were there was actually opening day! hahah so we got to witness it first hand hehhe we wondered why it was so busy! 🤣🇮🇹 Thank you so much for watching!
Catherine, I love you but these vlogs are NOT good for my bank account hahaha everywhere you go I want to visit!
beautiful vlog as always!
Hehehe omg im sorry heheh 😂🤣😭😭🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
Catherine Rome is so beautiful, I have family in Rome. I have an idea, you should make a story about Gingy and Spice visiting the Trevi Fountain. What do you think?
Hehehe that would be adorable 🥹🥹🥹
@Catherine Kay I hope that you give it a go! A magical journey with Gingy & Spice in Rome!
This is a great trip, Catherine, and unforgettable good times! I’m looking at my trip photos as I’m watching your adventure. Looking forward to Pisa!
My dad made a wish at the fountain to return in Italy in 10 years. It's been 40 and he hasn't gone back ;_; lol
Oh no! I hope he manages to go back soon! 🥹🌷🌸
Girl, nice video, but you managed to pick all the tourist's trap eateries possible. Pro tips for your next visit to our country. 1. never eat at places in the immediate surroundings of major sightseeing. 2. Fluffy looking gelatos aren't natural, mostly scams. 3. If the manu is in a dozen languages, run. 4. Follow the locals 😅😅😅
Hehe dammit 😅😅🥹 thank you for sharing all the tips! 🥹🌸 I’m sure this will help someone planning on visiting!
I love this vlog because it's not "look at me in my 5 stars hotel , only uber and fancy restaurants ". It's a normal trip with normal people and it's great !!!
Hehe 🥹🥹🌷 budget tripping is the only way we can afford to do so many trips hehe 🌷 thank you so so much for watching!
Can't believe you fell in every single tourist trap in Rome. That spaghetti at Pantheon is made out of a can; the so called "gelato" at that place is made with artificial flavors and overly sugary (BTW, real authentic gelato never ever you will see it in any artisan gelateria in 150 flavors and with those mountains of ice scream in their containers: it is very deflated because is made with milk, not with cream, and made it very slowly, what it means it never incorporate air in it, so it is very dense, flattened immediately as it is drop in their containers). BTW, drinking Coca Cola in Rome, are you kidding me? I'm sorry you spend a lot of money in one of the most beautiful cities without actually get in touch with the authentic Rome.
I’d love to get some tips for next time we visit, obviously we are tourists lol so we naturally fall into the tourist areas, can you suggest anywhere for people who maybe watching and for our next trip? 🤍🌷
@@catherinekayy I will suggest near Pantheon, for instance, "Osteria del Sostegno", it is a fantastic place to get authentic Roman dishes like "cacio e pepe" or an excellent carbonara.
Also near the Pantheon I will say get gelato artigianale in "Gelateria Mastro Cono", small place, few choices but an amazing gelato that you won't get in "Gelateria della Palma".
Let me clarify this, it is not that the gelato in "Gelateria della Palma" is the worst or pretty bad, you can find worst that that one, but it doesn't have the superior quality you expect when in Rome. Sometimes you have to do a bit of homework before your trip.
I could give you a list of places where I have been and I honestly recommend, but one big tip is never ever EVER eat within the historic landmarks like Pantheon, Piazza Navona, etc. Just walk a couple of blocks and you would be fine. It is very very difficult to find a good place to eat around the touristic areas in Italy, in Europe in general, I would say.
This is super super helpful! Thank you so much! We’re going to plan it much better next time! 😂❤
This will be super helpful to anyone visiting or looking to visit Rome! Thank you! 🎉❤
