I know, I feel such a connection with these animals and it is so important for kids and even adults to see themselves in other creatures. I remember when I met a bird with the same mental difficulties that I have and I instantly felt like those mental difficulties weren’t a bad thing

Hey, dwarfs have enough health issues they are born with that show they are bred for size. Animals like that aren’t accidentally made. Take that with what you will.
Queen Stella majority of mini horses of this breed are bred for size, so common sense says his/her saying that isn't incorrect
@Moon Jar Hi, Moon Jar, I understand there are miniature ponies are bred for their size. Dwarfism is something totally different, something that, just like humans, can happen to horses and their not bred to be dwarfs. Dwarfism is a genetic disorder where minirureism is something obtained by breeding smaller and smaller horses to get the desired size. I'm unsure if that breeding is begun with a genuine smaller horse, breeding horses with dwarfism isn't good because it's a disorder and carries complications.

They're very rich. You don't put chandeliers in your stable unless you've run out of better things to spend your money on. I am glad they've taken good care of this horse, I just hope they are giving back in other ways as well.

Well it's not really the fault of the breeder - dwarf horses (like dwarf dogs, cats, little people) happen randomly, it's just kind of a "fluke of nature." All you can do when they're born is make their lives comfortable.
I agree with you, though it’s not exactly clear from the video if Martha the horse was a victim of bad breeders or just a natural deformity.
But yes, the more and more I hear of it, the more I find the breeding industry disgusting, for all animal species. I know there are responsible browsers out there, who know what they are doing and who give the animals a good quality of life. Totally agree. If I had this kinda cash to spend, what a way to do it. For the 30mm u can spend on Manhattan penthouse u can buy this place and help animals who need it. I would LOVE a Manhattan penthouse but no question which makes my heart full.

Martha is a force of nature. She didn't give up and neither did her human family. Between wonderful care and limitless love, Martha is living every moment with pure, unrestrained joy and sharing that joy of life with all the critters and people she meets.
Martha is very lucky to have a adopted family that cares and loves her.

The farrier is worth his weight in gold!! Really make a difference in the lives of hooved animals. This was 3 years ago. I pray she is still in your care, but if not, you have done a wonderful thing.
It just HURT to see how hard it was for her to even stand up... And to see her running and playing around is such a relief.
When she let loose and ran as hard and fast as she could it just made my day! It's as if she was saying, "look what I can do!!!" Martha is an absolute baby doll and so full of love and life. How could her joy not get all over you!!??

The dwarf horse stories touch my heart like no other. The owners go all out to pick them up before certain death, do all it takes to save their lives, and they flourish for as long as their bodies hold out.
I would love to have space for animals like Martha and GOD bless you for all you do for these rescues. I did rescue my cat and we are happy 7 years now
