- Fans are eager for a PlayStation Showcase announcement that will hopefully lead to an announcement for some Marvel's Spider-Man 2 DLC. So where is the Showcase?

Game was awesome, but I’ve been super let down by the lack of any post game content. Unless we get some dlc soon I don’t think it matters very much anymore
Exactly it's passed it's own life cycle. Like naughty dog trying to make multiplayer tlou 2 dlc about 5 years too late for anyone to care
I heard any dlc was delayed because of leaks or something? But why would that matter? Ya it sucks if stuff gets spoiled but i still want to play...
Venom game isn't a rumor...it was revealed in the Insomniac leaks that were in the Ransomware case. It showed Insomniacs entire line up of games for the next several years...Venom was next and touted as a Miles Morales style stand alone expansion.
The showcase won't happen until the 2 sony events take place. First one will deal with sony overall then after the second one will deal with each department. So showcase will likely be either end of may/ early june or September. If September then the update will come during summer game fest since they will be appearing there.
Don't keep your hopes up Spidey fans...

Their leaks are not our problem protect your shit better and release the DLC's already

At some point you and Spidey squad are gonna have to accept insomniac really screwed this game up and have not been giving fans what we deserve
I mean, imo sm2 was great but coulve been out of this world if they couldve done what they wanted. And since insomiac got hacked and lost half of their employees of course the dlc might be delayed
They gave us everything they could implement that we asked for with Sony rushing them? Along with the death threats and hacks and all that. At this point we are getting spoiled

I believe spider-man 2 was amazing everything improved it definitely felt like a different game compared to the first one, But if they do not release DLC for this game I really can’t see how we can say this game was better than the first one…
As I said, and I'll stand by it, most likely Wednesday 22nd for Announcement 'you are invited' then showcase, 29th 9pm.
The console and controller bundle announcement for Spider-Man 2 was at San Diego Comic-Con 2023 not Summer Game Fest 2023

I always stood by saying If Spider-Man 2 releases DLC like the first game 3 chapters then Spider-Man 2 would definitely be better than the first in almost every way… If they do not release DLC for spider-man 2 I’ll have to change my opinion and say Spider-Man 2018 was definitely better… If they do not release DLC for this game I think it would be a massive missed opportunity and a big let down for such a big game… Even if they release 1 Chapter that is almost equal to 2 or 3 chapters that would be fine, But if they do not release anything at all that would be extremely disappointing. Pretty Sure PlayStation Show Case happened and there was nothing about a DLC for this game and that’s very worrisome… They didn’t even have to show gameplay they could have just teased it so we know it would be coming and… Nothing. It’s not looking good at all which is EXTREMELY disappointing… God Of War ragnarok got DLC, This game should get one as well.

@morris01 would like to beleive that but don't think it is. Remember the leaked road map. 2028 is for spiderman 3. Wolverine announced in 21.but release for year 25. What was the point of announcing it so early.

I don’t blame Insomniac if they don’t drop a DLC soon. That cyber attack must’ve set them back completely, all of their stuff was leaked including Wolverine in early development. Spider-Man 2 was an amazing game anyway so I’m sure when the next DLC or game does drop it’ll be just as good

Exactly why I stopped watching, just the same crap rephrased every time. The moment this guy made an entire speculation video over the venom voice actor putting up a 3 second video on his instagram story where ALL he does is shake his head (making it out to be Spider-Man related when it literally wasn't), I stopped looking at this guys content, I only came back because he changed his username so I didn't recognise him
