Hello to all of you - I made this video to show others that they can enjoy custard desserts and not feel guilty of the cholesterol from the yolks. I didn't think much of the cost nor intend to bait people to click it. That was not my intention but to some - they held bad judgement without thinking - Ano nga ba ang reason ng video na ito? Two eggs? Did i use 3 or more eggs? hindi ba 2 lang? No steam no bake.. That was exactly this video is. To some who couldn't find vanilla pudding in their area - I have read that it is equivalent to custard powder . To some who saw the value of eating less yolks - I appreciate your comments. To those who thought they were maligned or mislead to view this video - I am sorry you feel that way. I will continue to post dishes that cut back on calories or maybe different to some (iba iba lang ang panlasa ng tao) at wala pong masama doon. Sadyang may mga taong marami nang food experiences through their travel, from their culinary school, from their friends, and from watching cooking videos all over the internet. May mga taong open minded sa ibang klase ng pagkain at matamis. There's enough space to share ideas - please don't hold bad judgement just because it was not what you were expecting it to be. I am fond of cooking too even there's no youtube yet before.. I have lots of recipes...western, chinese & fil fooda including desserts... I appreciated this ..it looks yummy & not too sweet., Now that there is youtube, My knowledge in cooking added... Don't mind the basher's most basher's get envy., marami kang viewers kya inggit cla at di marunong..mag appreciate.... mukha ngang Japanese cheese cake gawa mo...and it's my favorite.... kaya try ko these next time...
My mom made this, she said she only used two eggs so i thought it was cheaper but she later tells me that it's actually more expensive. The texture felt like pudding but had a taste of leche flan and it's lighter so you won't notice you had too much until you finish it all.
I’m not going to judge it by just the way it looks. In the end, it’s about the taste. There is a reason why we prefer Filipino flan than Mexican flan. I’m going to try this recipe and if it comes close to the original recipe, then it will be a keeper. It definitely is healthier from the ingredients used.

Yes it's silky, not too sweet. I followed the process step by step, adjusted some ingredients that are available in my area. I used low fat milk 🥛 because I'm lactose intolerant. The pudding came out nice & silky. Thanks, chef. it's a joy to learn something new

As a child , leche flan was the first dessert on the party table that I targeted and massacred eating so much. I asked my older sister to make it for me so I could watch and learn the recipe. Only then I learnt that it required so much egg yolks! I still love to eat this dessert but after what I saw, I was more conscious of the amount I eat. I will definitely try out your version of the recipe. This looks so good! And finally a way to work around tapering the amount of egg yolks being used. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

The title was intriguing- no bake, no stem, 2 eggs.... I thought of no bake cakes, but there was some cooking done on the stove. NEVERTHELESS, I think there was no malice or trickery intended in using that catchy title of a video. So, I don't understand the negative comments and the many thumbs down. So what if it is not exactly the same as the traditional Filipino flan? And so what if it is more expensive? We are just being shown an alternative way of making a flan, to try it, and see if you like it. We are not tricked here. We are also given a choice. If you love sweets, you can try it. If you don't no need to bash. Let us respect each other. For me, I will definitely try it if I can find the ingredients, since it has less cholesterol and I I just love flans.

Friends from the Philippines say it is equivalent to custard powder. I don't know if it will work. I have used the vanilla pudding because i wanted to make something less of cholesterol (yolks) which some find it different from what they are accustomed to. Thanks for your professional inquiry. I'd like to try this at home but i'm afraid there's no available pudding mix in the nearest grocery stores i live in. Any recommended substitute ?
Friends from the Philippines say it is equivalent to custard powder. I don't know if it will work. I have used the vanilla pudding because i wanted to make something less of cholesterol (yolks) which some find it different from what they are accustomed to. Thanks for your professional inquiry.
