Heyo! This farm works on every platform now! And if you are using it on ps4/java, you should get like 3x the rates due to faster grass spreading :D
Let's see the factory.
Does the Wither destroying Obsidian count as a bug ? It should if it isnt
Bring it lol
When I have logged into the game sometimes, if my horse is standing beside a wall it may glitch into it and suffocate. There is nothing I can do when this happens. This has happened three times, one of those times was when my sister logged in on a different PC while I was playing. I don't know if this glitch has happened to anyone else.
And yes please to the wool factory of doom!!! 😂
Everyone: 9dispensers? Hopper minecart? Expensive.
Me: What I need 50 grass blocks
Do it still work?
@Bo Sanders you need at least one piece of grass already there for it to spread... if you don’t have silk touch find and enderman holding one and kill him
@@wompwomp1892 killing an Enderman to get some grass is a power move
@@tortoiseknight8438 I’m building this right now in a new survival world. Was hunting spiders for string to make the bows for dispensers and came across two (!) endermen with grass blocks. Pumped.
Cold lunch Noob that’s exactly what I was thinking
Just built it and wasn’t getting any wool in my chest, turns out I forgot Minecart, works fantastically, u earned my subscription
I did the same lol
Alex J thats what’s happening to me too, i think 1.16 broke it
Alex J what was happening is that i had a redstone block under the powered rail and that rblock turned off the hopper or something like that
He is high on my list of favorites.
I like it when people say they earned their sub
Who’s here cause they need beds for mining netherite 🖐
Mememmememme
Yessir
Does it work?
0smin Bonilla yep pretty well too
Yep
I did this in survival and it works beautifully. My tip to anyone is just get a couple sheep in there and replace one of the glass blocks on the side with a fence post and then you can feed them wheat to breed them and not have to worry about them getting out!
Thanks so much Its bring do painful to get them into such small place
Good idea! The second he said 20 sheep I was like, how do I contain them all without one escaping. Thank you so much lol
I used a slab but the rates are insane
Lovely idea my guy. 👍🤘🖖🤜🙌

Silent. You are the best. I cannot think of any other youtuber that completes request of his community so quickly and flawlessly. Honestly, you are the best. Building this today
Thanks for this! I built 4 of these on our realm with 4 different colors in each and went AFK for around 4 hours and got around 5-7 stacks of each color. It's possible there will be a giant rainbow in our shopping district soon...
I appreciate when a tutorial comes with a full materials list 👏👏
Makes it SO much easier making it in survival
where is it i dont see it

@ItzLucky Yes, and if you are ever wondering if a farm doesn't work, check Silent's pinned comment, he will update it if it does not work :)
Just found your channel, I am disappointed in the fact that I just came across it. You are severely underrated, and deserve so much more support! Love this tutorial, thank you so so much.
Always happy to help out where i can! :D
Share and share. I know with every person making items/videos/posts/whatever, word of mouth is key!
They had us in the first half, not gonna lie
Just built on a Switch running bedrock 1.18. It works as long as you put the hoppers under the rail and not just 1 under the corner as instructed. Thank for another awesome build Silent!
My kiddos (ages 6 & 9) both also love Minecraft, and they have been intrigued by redstone contraptions lately. This was an amazing tutorial for them. They were both able to follow along step by step, and you spoke in a way that was clear and understandable for them. I have built this farm before based on this tutorial, and I love it. Thank you for helping me share the magic with my kiddos.
Just built this one in my husbands world and he is really happy with it. I built it into the side of a hill so hopefully it will keep grassing up well :) I built a little shack on top so the dispensers can be easily filled when needed
This is so convenient! I was just getting ready to build a ship with a big white sail and I needed a lot of wool! I’m totally gonna build this in my world
Thanks Silent, built one yesterday did not work. So today i was scrolling through and found a simple design from you! SO i knew it worked! Thank you so much for all the great builds! Keep up the good work!
Glad I could help!
Wow, the fact that silent responded a year later really shows his love for his subs
YES, I HAVE LITERALLY BEEN WAITING FOR THIS EVER SINCE I HEARD OF IT. THANK YOU
Yet again, another perfect build. After having just completed advanced guardian farm, I'm super stoked about this.
Done in under 30m, and doesn't crash my ps4. Thanks again silent!! :)
even tho this is kinda old, this still works like a boss, thanks dude!
Cool , that Silent ansvers so fast
My favorite bedrock UA-camr
Absolutely fantastic!!! Works very well, before I built the "automatic" part I just flicked a lever, and then popped out *32* wool! After the whole thing was finished it was unbelievable how much wool I got. Thank you!!! Liked and subscribed!
This is still my go-to wool farm. Thank you so much for a simple farm that just works! (Don’t need a mega farm, I appreciate that you give farms scaled for casual play.)
Instead of observers, I just use a redstone clock to power the dispensers. It's simpler and frees up more space for grass blocks to improve the growth rate of the inside grass.
Great video! Very informative. Gonna build this later tonight cant wait!!! Cheers and keep the awesome videos coming much love!
I really love your videos and imo you are by far the best bedrock Minecraft youtube channel out there! I just wanted to let you know how much you have helped me in my survival worlds and that these videos really inspired me to play the game again sense I pretty much stoped playing a couple years ago due to criticism from my friends for playing the game :/. But thank you so much for making such high quality content I really appreciate and enjoy watching them
So glad i can help you enjoy a great game again! And if you enjoy it, who cares what they say right! Have a good time and enjoy yourself!💖
Crazy to see this still working 2 years later
its a good lil farm :D
Hahaha right after TNC. Observers, nice. Was saying this on TNC discord channel
This will be my second world with this. Works great! Thanks!
This farm still works ! January 7 2020. For anyone on PS4 this is a pretty good farm to have for those bigger builds. I used what he said in the video and took a sticky piston to move the dispenser. I had 2 sheep of every colour already so I just made a bubble elevator that was 2 wide and had them drain into the holding cell. Had them up there in to time!
can confirm, still works in 1.16 bedrock
really? mine isn’t working
ahh nvm, the red stone block that i had turned off the hopper, so it wouldn’t deliver to chest
@@collinsfoodreview6057 wait what, i have the same problem, but im using a lever, i also tried using a redstone torch but those didnt work either, any suggestions?
@@pilamiis the powered rails must be away from the hoppers
@@MrCheestr Does it still work for 1.17?.
Tested and working in survival (Realms) v1.14 as of 6th April 2020.
Notes/Tips:
- Materials list says you need 9 glass; you actually need 13 glass. Also advise using 2 chests to make a double chest as this farm produces so much wool.
- I prefer to use a redstone block under each powered rail rather than a lever underneath.
- If you don't have silk touch to harvest grass blocks, you need to connect dirt to an existing grass block for the grass to spread to the dirt.
- Easiest to breed sheep in a fence pen and then dye them what colours you want before putting them into this farm.
That grass connecting method doesn’t work at my survival...
@@zilverbal5104 It can take a long time for grass to spread sometimes. And you will have to be within chunk simulation distance of where it is spreading. It definitely works for me because my base is in the sky and I used it to get grass up to the dirt blocks on all of my platforms.
ColdBanana it works but very very slow for me. So I need to be in the chunk to get the grass faster. Thanks for the tip ill do that
@@zilverbal5104 I'm pretty sure simulation distance for Bedrock is 4 chunks, so up to 64 blocks away. Hopefully this will be increased to match render distance in the future so farms can work from further away if you have the hardware to handle it. But until then. Stay within 4 chunks and the grass should spread. But yes, it can be very slow. Definitely easier if you can get even just one grass block to put with the dirt so it spreads there directly.
oh man, glad I found this. this is way more efficient and affordable than early concepts like the one I used when the update first came out. thank you!
Glad I could help!
Thanks for this! And I'm definitely interested in a Bigger setup. Bring it!
nice design,
Atm I am doing a more natural world where they are not crammed on one spot and like this design but wanting the dispensers on the side so I can use fences and have the shearing mechanism looking like its in a building, Not after great rates or anything as I am only person on world and want to have the shearing a bit spasmotic when they wander near the the shearer with a slightly bigger field. I know it will require more materials as long as it not require slime lol since i not found any yet hehehe
May build this one while i work on or look for an alternative design as I only use wool to trade with villagers or carpets ( on a newer world so not explored too far or found any villages.. holding out for village update lol)
I totally get what you mean by wanting a nice looking building and not being worried about efficiency. Personally though I’m gonna try this design and then make some kind of building around the outside of it, something that’ll fit in with all my other farms at my plantation style building area. Just my two cents.
@@mabatch3769 yeah I have decided to build it too and build around it , Might even use clear glass to give the appearance of openness and a field in front to make it look more natural, I have been waiting for shearing to be done by dispenser and this is the nicest design I have seen thats not too complicated
Still works 2 years later
How did you get the dispensers to work automatically? I followed the build and they still don’t want to work
@@Realatablepanda maybe you didnt put the observers the right way
These tutorials are great, and I really appreciate having the materials list in descriptions that is lots easier than trying to pause videos. One thing I wish would be if the descriptions said which bedrock version you built in b/c they keep updating and some builds break. That way I’d be able to avoid spending lots of time debugging a build that just won’t work on newest version.
I always update my farms, if something breaks in an update (if its not due to temporary bugs) then i update my video:)
PieIsTheBest
Thanks for the tutorial, dude! Still works in 1.16! Now I can use it to get all of the wool for all the beds for Ancient debris mining!
Don’t have the twitter so i’ll leave bugs here
Withers are still buggy when you unload them
You punch trough frost walker ice and hit the block behind it
Water sometimes goes completely black
Tnt cannons don’t work anymore
Campfires don’t poop smoke
Armorstands can still be killed with potions
Huge frame drops for no reason (maybe because i play on a toaster, but it is worse than before)
Like so this man can see
This farm works great! It produced 212 wool in an hour with only 8 sheep! Thanks again, Silent!
Edit: is this stackable? Or do I need to make separate farms
To my Minecraft knowledge you should be able to stack it but it might get laggy
Yes it is
Totally my next build. I’ll get started on it today or tomorrow. Manual wool collection is tedious and I need just about every tradable item now to get a decent emerald income. And my first farm will be brown wool since that’s the only color my shepherd wants right now. And I don’t want to waste my time cocoa bean farming either when I don’t need to. I’ll let you know how it goes, but I expect well. Thanks again for the awesome design.
I was skeptical at first, because I tried so much faulty Minecraft tutorials, and I lost all my hope when it wasn't working, I tried everything, but it didn't work, until I found out that all I had to do was take out the block near observers so the shears could actually shears, just take those blocks out and put them back in if the same thing is happening, a little slower than I thought, but other than that, thank you for being a real one.
dang, going from a new video to this one is a real shocker because of the change in your voice lol
Can confirm this still works after the 1.17 Caves and Cliffs update :)
Thank you
@@Themasterofgam3 np, enjoy that wool
May be a stupid question but how do you get the wool to drop
Awesome tutorial! Farm works great! Thanks! 😊
Thank you so much worked better than expected
This is an amazing wool farm, it is soooooo fast. The one problem with this (and there is another comment like this) is that the hopper minecart goes so fast it doesn’t get into the storage chest. I tried fixing this, but I couldn’t find a solution.
Edit: I had put the hopper under a straight rail instead of a corner rail. Upon correction it works.
Samuel McIlwaine try using 1 powered rail
Kostik I did. I even tried hooking up the rails to a timer so that they wouldn’t always be on but none it worked.
It's expensive but put all hoppers under the minecart. Works on xboxone
Bradly Alejandre yeah I thought about doing that. A fair amount of iron though. I might.
Why not have the wool funnel through a waterway if you need a cheaper method? Might not be as reliable, but worth a shot
The problem with this design is that the minecart with hopper won't unload anything, it just fleets by the hopper under the rail. So a proper unloading system is necessary. [EDIT] Actually, it helps if you move the 2 hoppers from the corner to under the straight rail, because the cart moves slower on a straight rail.
I'm a lil late to the table here - I've also found using an unloader in 1.13+1.14.0.50 Beta has an advantage in that it stops mine-carts from despawning...hope that helps someone :-) Must be sommat to do with updating stuff maybe...
Great guide, as always. I made mine with one sheep of each colour.
keep grinding videos man, you'll make it soon
When he said "hello everyone" i thought of mumbo's intro
If I met silent I would like to give him a firm handshake.
Perfect for my requirements. :) I was considering ideas and concepts for this build and then you released this video. Saves my brain ache and I love it!!
Another great build!
Still works as of now. Great design!
Edit: ok it’s been like 12ish in game hours and I have over 2 double chests full of wool and I only put about 10 sheep in there. Recommend getting a shepherd villager (or a few) to trade with!
MonkeyMan thank you so much for this...I was trying to see if it still works 1.15+ on bedrock
O yaaaaaa 🤯! ure a flippen genius. Thx for the tip
Tip for everyone! Use a comparator on one of the dispensers, point it to a redstone lamp. This way you know how if you need to replace the shears.
Built this today, still works :) I paired it with the auto sorter. I don't really mind if the sorter eventually breaks cause who needs that much wool? Took me a while to get all 16 sheep in but I did. I'm so proud of myself. Now gotta build a building around it 😅
Still works in 1.16 betas. The hardest (slowest) part when playing in survival is getting the grass to grow if you didn't use a silk touch shovel to mine grass blocks. Otherwise, this works very quickly. I literally get a stack of wool from 10 sheep every few minutes. Thanks Silent! On to the kelp farm.
I'm having a bit of a problem with this, I'm playing on bedrock edition on an iPhone and for some reason the Hopper Minecart doesn't transfer any of the items it collects to the other hoppers in the floor. I placed all of them correctly but still doesn't work. I am unaware of any bugs or problems with red stone in the game as this is the first time I have actually made something like this in a survival world, so if you could give any suggestions to what has happened it would be much appreciated. 😃
Edit: I found out what the issue was. The hopper doesn't pick anything up when it's on a corner block, with a rail on it, so I just moved the hoppers and chest underneath one of the rails that was not a corner piece. I hope this helps with other people with the same problem 👍
Just made this, Same problem. Thanks for the solve mate
munchie11171 No problem bro, glad I could help
Thank you
Thanks a lot i had the same problem, but now the hopper isnt dropping any wool into the chest, My wool just sits in the hopper, have u gotten this problem?
I’m in the final stages of prettying it up but I’ve got it fully functioning now on my realm with my kids. I set up item collection before I brought the sheep in and decided I don’t need 6 sheep per pen for our realm with the sick production rate it yields. That was before I even got all the seeder grass in too. Now that I have got a functioning sorting system for all the colors I have it’ll be a breeze to find everything. I’m assuming if I want to turn it off I can just enter the maintenance area and pop the red stone dust to all the dispensers. Wish I saw the comment on adding a fence post sooner as that would make redying sheep easier too. I bred sheep before I got all the layers in when I could still reach at least. On the bright side I’m also now an excellent shepherd I may put my villagers out of business. Though I used them for shears as emeralds are easier to get as I haven’t set up a new iron farm. Love your tutorials you crazy man.
such a good design. I've started to make 16 of these for every color of wool for my entire realm. :-)
i made the farm tried to put 1 of each color in... wow its amazing how much wool it makes! truly incredible... =D
Why did this show up in my subscription list a year later
You are iskall85’s twin! “(Real name) of doom”
Ah yes a man of culture as well
With the advent of 1.19, the use of observers can be neglected by using only 1 sculk sensor and redstone around it. Also thanks for farm design
Good shit fella! Awesome that this update had something useful.
Hoping the "fixed" drown spawning helps other mob spawning. I'm still not used to having so few gunpowder
Who else using this for the new update to use beds to get the accident debris in the nether?
does this still work?
i有些事实就是 yeah it does like a pure and utter charm
Nothing Nothing ok thank you i just got all the supplies and breeded all the sheeps thxs
LITERALLY the very reason I'm making this tonight lmao
Sam Lampman it still works good
The minecart just disappears into the center brick at the bottom...
This is amazing ! Thanks.
To increase production. Build this underground, build about 8 (Or however many you'd like) connect all of them to droppers via hoppers. Have the droppers drop the wool into a 1x1 water tower with soul sand at the bottom. Soul sand pushes wool all the way to the surface. Us more water to push wool into a hopper connected to a chest. Bam, mass Wool farm. Idk what your going to do with a lot of wool, but you'll have always have wool and thats a plus to me.
This doesn't work for me. No wool is being collected. It doesn't even make sense. How is the wool supposed to fall through the dirt?
Edit: I'm dumb I was using a regular minecart
xD
XD
Hopper minecarts are known for sucking up items far above them, so they're great for farms like these.

I have used this farm the first time i saw it years ago and it works fantastic. Your redstone builds are awesome. I have a good laugh every time i see ine of your mega farms the produce 70,000 of something per hour 😂😂. But it is really cool to see those things
Nice video, I did this on my survival world and it worked (I was useing PS4)
How is the lag in a farm like this? I worry about cramming causing lag. Have to be worried about that on WC
This is about the least laggy it can be haha, shouldn't really have any affect on lag as long as you only have about 20 in there. If you build like 5 of these, thats a lot of sheep so lag could occur.
The Minecart hopper isn’t putting any wool into the hoppers?
same problem
I made the mistake of putting the minecart with hopper the 1st thing and it wasn´t collecting any wool. Place the minecart the last thing. as he did in the video, then the hopper will collect it like a boss.
