It’s come to the point where Indians trust the military more than any law enforcement… the police don’t keep people safe, so India is probably the only country in the world whose citizens won’t mind if the country becomes militarized which has its own dangers. It’s sad, politicians hold more power than anyone else who is qualified to govern a country and a literal chai wala is the Prime Minister rather than somebody actually educated. Also, thank you for covering your mouth when giving IP address and phone numbers, etc. I am deaf and rely on lip reading, but there are those who would use lip reading as a tool to commit a crime. So, thank you for doing that. Also, please take care of yourself. You look extremely tired and probably not resting and eating the best foods. My mom, 78, recently was scammed by these guys, they had access to her computer for 30 mins and it’s caused so many problems since. It makes me so upset thinking about it- she’s the sweetest person and donates all her time to volunteering and helping others, and got taken advantage of. They had emailed her about some charge and she called them back and it went just like you do it. Just wanted to thank you for actively hunting these awful humans down.

I doubt any of the people profiting from this garbage are bothered in the slightest about what the rest of the world thinks of their country. Also, it's pretty obvious that a significant portion of the revenue generated by these scams is spent on bribes. How many people reading this would actually be willing to do the right thing if it meant that you and your family would be in very real danger and your income, as well as that of everyone you work with, including your superiors, would be cut by at least 50%? How do you suppose the majority of your coworkers and bosses would react if they were to find out that you were attempting to derail their gravy train?

Thank you, if it wasn’t for your videos I would have just lost £200 in an email scam. My Landlady messaged me asking her to get her a gift card for her niece, it was weird but I agreed. I wanted to make sure she wasn’t being scammed so I asked her if it was really for her niece. After typing that out, making sure she wasn’t being scammed i suddenly thought “hey am I the one being scammed here?”I called her and turns out her email address has been hacked and scammers are using her account to scam her contacts. If it wasn’t for your videos I could have fell for it and lost the last of my money. Thanks again for all the work you do
Rarely do email accounts ever get "hacked". Typically people just reveal their password by using the same one everywhere or falling for phishing emails.
To be fair, the police departments of most countries will act like that if a foreigner called from abroad. While there might be places to file reports (in the USA you can report cyber crime to the FTC) a police department will not take a report from someone calling from the other side of the globe.

I had to go as far as going to the FBI and the Secret Service. Never caught him. I was at a very, very vulnerable time of my life. Romance scams are the worst. I bet that local police is also involved and collude with them . Suggestions: 1) Share scammer account details to Indian Tax Department and Enforcement Directorate and CBI (Indian FBI). 2) Definitely report to Cyber Crime depptt of the state . 3) Each of these call centre lease space as BPO and required to be compliant with Labor Commission. This is done in order to make sure employees arent overworked. These labor commisioner have discretion to raid the premises. So , report to them as well. Worst case scenario , even all these depptt are colluding with scammer , their will be prohibitive cost pressure on the scammer and thier margin will go down in order to grease all palms . I used to work with an Indian woman at a banking call center who has been in the US for many years, but still had an accent. Some customers would refuse to talk to her. It upset her a lot. She was ashamed too. Neither of you should be ashamed. Some of these commenters act like there aren't stereotypes about their own demographics.

My mom, 78, recently was scammed by these guys, they had access to her computer for 30 mins and it’s caused so many problems since. It makes me so upset thinking about it- she’s the sweetest person and donates all her time to volunteering and helping others, and got taken advantage of. They had emailed her about some charge and she called them back and it went just like you do it. Just wanted to thank you for actively hunting these awful humans down.

I doubt any of the people profiting from this garbage are bothered in the slightest about what the rest of the world thinks of their country. Also, it's pretty obvious that a significant portion of the revenue generated by these scams is spent on bribes. How many people reading this would actually be willing to do the right thing if it meant that you and your family would be in very real danger and your income, as well as that of everyone you work with, including your superiors, would be cut by at least 50%? How do you suppose the majority of your coworkers and bosses would react if they were to find out that you were attempting to derail their gravy train?

Thank you, if it wasn’t for your videos I would have just lost £200 in an email scam. My Landlady messaged me asking her to get her a gift card for her niece, it was weird but I agreed. I wanted to make sure she wasn’t being scammed so I asked her if it was really for her niece. After typing that out, making sure she wasn’t being scammed i suddenly thought “hey am I the one being scammed here?”I called her and turns out her email address has been hacked and scammers are using her account to scam her contacts. If it wasn’t for your videos I could have fell for it and lost the last of my money. Thanks again for all the work you do

To be fair, the police departments of most countries will act like that if a foreigner called from abroad. While there might be places to file reports (in the USA you can report cyber crime to the FTC) a police department will not take a report from someone calling from the other side of the globe.

I love this! This is great! I was scammed big time and you know what I hope you catch everybody. Shame on these people I hope they catch them and put them in jail. I had to go as far as going to the FBI and the Secret Service. Never caught him. I was at a very, very vulnerable time of my life. Romance scams are the worst. Suggestions:
1) Share scammer account details to Indian Tax Department and Enforcement Directorate and CBI (Indian FBI).
2) Definitely report to Cyber Crime depptt of the state .
3) Each of these call centre lease space as BPO and required to be compliant with Labor Commission. This is done in order to make sure employees arent overworked. These labor commisioner have discretion to raid the premises. So , report to them as well.
Worst case scenario , even all these depptt are colluding with scammer , their will be prohibitive cost pressure on the scammer and thier margin will go down in order to grease all palms .

I’m Indian and I’m thankful you do this. Just today morning my sis got a scam call saying her bank account will be blocked. So many more loosing money here also I’m my country. I keep reading in the papers. Hope it stops somehow. Mainly old people. I hope many more people like you put a stop to this

I appreciate what you guys are doing. My grandfather almost got scammed a week ago and thankfully I was there, because what I saw what the scammer was doing was similar to these scammers. I told him to get off the call and he listened

I myself got scammed 2 months ago with an amount of of 40k seeked help from cyber crime but didn’t really help …

That must be so frustrating for you all so much. It isn't a stereotype anyone would want. I used to work with an Indian woman at a banking call center who has been in the US for many years, but still had an accent. Some customers would refuse to talk to her. It upset her a lot.

They think it’s just a joke and the victims will get their money back from the bank or the have more. These scammers are disgusting vile creatures. It must have been the quickest scam call I’ve ever had.
