We depart Dun Laoighaire in company of our friends Michael and Roisin to sail across Dublin bay.
We plan on staying overnight at anchor north of Lambay island to avoid ligh pollution in the hope of a better display of Northern lights. Our first overnight at anchor of 2024.
Massive thanks to Michael and Roisin for their photos. It’s lovely to get another view point of our classic beauty.

May 11th. Yeah weather was fantastic. Sailing in shorts rarely happens. Family has mentioned we should have a public health warning on video because John is topless🤣🤣.
Ireland is gorgeous in good weather. We are lucky to see it from a different viewpoint
Hi people, hope all is going well you’ve gone very quiet was looking forward to seeing your journey South. Stay safe
Hi Roy sorry about not posting recently. I had been busy with dad’s hospital appointments before we left. We’re just home from France trip and editing shall begin. I look forward to sharing our time. WD has stayed in Arzal on the Villaine River for some overdue refurbishment
John could be starting a new trend 😄It looked like a great day

@SailingYachtSaltyLass lovely calm sunny morning working at the marina. After 4pm wind picked up ( just when sail was on deck whilst we fixed the creeping forward sailbag. Got lots of jobs finished before holiday starts next weekend
