Being the second wife would be challenging. Many countries do not recognize a second wife as being legal no matter religious practices. Since the main goal is come to USA with Green Card he need to decide what to do. First and only wife can sponsor him for green card purposes.

Not African, but my partner is and his Mom's facial expressions, and his to an extent, are like varying shades of paint colors that all look the same until you look closely. As someone from the US, I am highly embarrassed when these 'reality stars' do not pick up on even the most basic of cultural respect. Kimberly has been in Nigeria, she has seen women wearing a hajib. To arrive at the home of Usman's mother and not be careful (respectful) enough to wear a hajib correctly is foolish, at the least. This and so many other simple ways show Usman's family that Kimberly just will not concede to any form of respect to them. She will offer words only, no actions. Pity.

There are probably multiple entrances. This is common in Nigeria and Ghana because of thieves. There’s usually a gateman who receives guests and informs the residents of visitors or deliveries

People may criticize his mom, but note that the impression she’s gotten of Americans so far is pretty negative- both women acting like dramatic brats at their old ass age and the rest of them standing around with cameras like it’s a joke lol. I don’t blame her. And I don’t blame his brother because there’s a good chance that by now he’s heard about Kimbaahly’s antics and how she has thrown water in Usman’s face in front of his friend. There’s also a good chance that he’s all too aware of Usman’s true motives and that this is all a ploy to further his music career. So frankly, I can see how it would irritate him that Usman would put their mom in this kind of position for those shady reasons. So I ain’t hating on anyone in his family lol. I grew up in these parts and Typically the houses there are built with different entrances to the entertainment area, so all the stuff you wouldn’t want your guests to see will come in through the back and away from prying eyes

the door thing is easy too understand. houses in nigeria are typically gated with big walls surrounding the compound. and traditionally hausa people may have 2 or sorooms(Sorro and a Parlour/lining room)for recieving guests
