It'd be nice if you showed the reality of coupling up existing soldered copper to plastic i.e. removing a soldered copper fitting in order to join a piece of PEX barrier pipe.
You can connect 15mm copper to 25mm plastic pipe by using a plason fitting and 15mm rubber on the that’s how we connected the pipe underground in 1990s
You forgot a method? It's always just compression fitting or a push fit. Unless you mean those glue-on-to-plastic adapters that have pushfit/compression ends. Those I find are exotic.
also plastic tube have markings down the side this is to help knowing its pushed all the way home if cut on the mark the fitting should reach the next mark also speedfit use 2 inserts plain mainly used for comp fittings and superseal for push fitting
This guy has done thousands and thousands and thousands of joints without leaks in the course of his job and presentations on UA-cam But there always that one guy that comes alone , normally an American? , that's says....you don't do it like that 😂😂😂 Show us how you do it then

Brass olives shouldn't be used on plastic pipes as they're stronger than copper so won't crimp. They have to be copper olives.
Man, what a great way to join plastic and copper.
Splendid bit of plumbing mate, but you've fit a proper screen door on my submarine, I've got a sink drain to patch up.
Great video again, can you tell me the name of the jointing compound please. ❤

Hi mate I'm doing a refurb on a shower room and the piping is hep20 can you put john guest fittings on it? Thanks Tony 😁
what about using a euro cone connection/adapter into a compression fitting as a method?
Great video james hope your keeping well mate
Nice bro @bipinchauhan901
Can screw a 1 inch male copper pipe to a 1 inch female pvc? I’ve done it several times and it’s leaking.
My plumber did the pressure compression coupling but now the joint between the copper and the plastic is leaking water.
9 times out of 10 your plumber omitted to add the pipe insert.
@@JB-tc8el i paid like 400usd :/
Why do fittings have two measurements, ie. 15mm and half inch.
Why are they not just 15mm to 15mm ?
Love this dude.
Smooooooth
Warmed up with blow lamp stretched over and duct tape i saw on gas january this year !
What about heating the plastic up and pushing it over the copper🤠🤠
sure ..that'll work

Can I hate on PTFE tape with potable water 😂 Google PFAS and forever chemicals.
Gorilla glue is good for bonding dissimilar materials together.😉
This guy is the pipe whisperer.

Why not use adapter nuts

What about plastic with a pressfit to copper?
I’ve tried that as a test just to see and it works a treat. Copper press fitting onto hep pipe with the stainless insert. Pumped up to 10 bar.
I want to get an employment contract is there a site for plumbers
Please use a tripod next time master James, I was getting sea sick
Top draw
Female to male is a waste of time mate you're just unnecessarily adding a third joint? Or am i being thick 😂
Jeez. That was probably one of the worst examples of copper pipe sweating I've ever seen @4:28 That's not how you do it.

camera is wildly moving around, in and out...... can't really see what you are doing
Wouldnt even consider the third a joining method, noone would do that, you are creating 3 seals
I want to work for you
I want an employment contract with you
I wants don't get...! I wants a billion pounds.
