Well I thought I was going to bed, it’s 2am after all... could not pass this one by though... I just love when these amazing gems find their way to me just as I’m making other plans 😉 Roi killin it during Ants 🐜
Any idea who introduced them wearing the Johnny Quest shirt? Used to go see JQ around the same time DMB was just starting to get big… great quality BTW - thank you!
I saw this tour to see DMB. Blues Travelers where headliners, but I think that was thanks to DMB not wanting to step on toes. Although a rather short set, DMB stole the show. I believe Kravitz was there too. Very good!
I was at the Phoenix HORDE show so this brought back some great memories! Love this stage footage. “Stay behind the white line”. 😂 Thanks for posting!! #stayhome
I was a vendor in that tour and I recall that show some guy trying to swim over to the island through the (Mississippi?) River. Dude got swept away and died.
@@OneEyedWilly5 it was a fun summer. Got to hang with some of the artists, Taj Mahal made me Cajun Zucchini one night. Lenny and his crew hung out and partied with us and Red Thunder in a holiday Inn parking lot in Las Cruces NM. Lol good times
@@GratefulRobI was there that night and still have my tee shirt! What a night. It was a record breaking hot night. Even for Memphis. I miss this Memphis. I’m sad but not surprised they canceled MIM Music Festival this year. We haven’t been down there in over ten years. It just got too dangerous. My husband got mugged, pistol whipped and left to die. We loved live music but not enough to die for.
Another great night on this tour, and the start of DMB mini-run portion. This tour was great all summer long, but this was one of the best (and hottest) nights...my Corky's pork platter and burnt ends takeout was still warm when I returned to the van ten hours after I got it. Some great side stage acts on this date including MMW and the awesome Freddy Jones Band too I believe (they did a bunch of shows opening for DMB prior to HORDE as well). MTV crashed the party but was minimized by all of the great music on both stages. Man, was this needed this week during all of this madness we are living now...thanks thanks so much for remembering better times again!
It’s good to see you too, Dave! Celebrate we will. Carter in backwards cap and Dave dancing while Roi rocks the flute. Stefan on Crash into me. Sweetyourockandsweetyouroll. Thank y’all very much. My new favorite DMB show. Peace and love to everyone.
love this! damn, stefan's got that good good. hes definitely ready to roll! dave looks rocked too. good thing he remembered to take his backstage pass off!
Eight days later we were in the crowd in San Diego. (Chula Vista, technically.) I went into that show knowing full well now amazing DMB and Blues Traveler were, but boy did my eyes open to the sheer power and talent of Lenny Kravitz. Great memories!!
Fucking awesome! thanks... It was always sweaty down by that muddy Mississippi. Thanks for posting~! Digging it...
Lol, "Quarantine Collection". Thank you, Jason!
Lenny Kravitz, Rusted Root, Blues Travelers then DMB what a day , me and my wife skipped work to go all day!!
I took the day off to witness this awesome show!!! Tripping balls with my buddy curly.. First time with that line up. ❤️
THANK YOU for these awesome memories!!!! We need positive stuff like this during these times of madness. Stay well everyone!
This is a gem, of the gems....damn. What a show.
Thank you for your service. This is exceptional
Never thought I’d see this show! Thank you!
daves acoustic jam in jimi thing and the way the band slid in to crash into me from two step is amazing!

Sooo cool. Love Carter sport in the Roenick jersey. Haven't seen that much footage of Dave playing the back up Sunburst Chet Atkins.
I attended the '96 HORDE festival in Dallas, 1996. I am looking for any video of tht event, can anyone help!
OMG!!! My first show ever!
Michael Ledbetter right on! Absolutely loved this show! Made me a fan for life! Glad we both made it to this show!
SAME!! I was 16 and a HUGE DMB fan, now I’m 40 and still love them❤️

Yes! That's from this event. I have some random footage of DM & Steve Lillywhite talking about it while walking around the grounds.

Holy shit! That last song.
Was at the Phoenix portion of this!!! 110 degrees and tripping balls... Best show I've experienced.
Texas show hot as hell too!! Amazing show. Being young was so awesome.
Man Roi is so greatly missed
❤❤2022 love from Seattle ❤️❤️
What happened to Dave right after "Crash into me" around the 40 min. mark? Looks like he says "motherfucker" towards the drummer?
Wow. Another mind melter.
Henry looks about 14
Thank you, Sir
Thank you
This recording is fantastic!
Where was this show?
