Also, I haven't even played FH2 much - only a few hours on my friend's Xbox One!
For me, it'll always be the best forza horizon ever: there was a real vibe about it that you don't find in the latest games. Reworking this game with new cars would be the best thing ever
the graphical jumps from FH1 to FH2 was MASSIVE I remember my jaw dropped when I first saw the graphics then said "is this really gaming in the future looks like?..."

I think it’s absolutely criminal that this is the only Forza Horizon that never received enhancements. FH1 got 4K FH3 got 4K But FH2 is still stuck at 900p. At least the emulation scene for Xbox One is thankfully catching momentum now, so we can get enhancements in an unofficial capacity eventually.
FH2 will forever be the best Horizon, and possibly the best Forza Audio wise, if I'm not mistaken C6 zr1 audio was 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾 The supra and r35 were fixed with the F&F version to be god tier

The exhaust thing should go back to how it was if you upgraded the exhaust it just makes it louder and angrier instead of completely changing the sound like it does now
Honestly the only problems I have with FH2 sounds are the big backfires and the supercharger sound off throttle. The louder backfires (the ones that will have a visible flame) kinda just sound like a plastic water bottle being flicked. The superchargers seem to act more like an air raid siren as the revs drop, it should be a lot quieter/ not audible at all because the throttle body is closed and is positioned before the supercharger inlet. Yes I know there dynamic superchargers, like centrifugal superchargers, that will place the throttle body after the supercharger, but most if not all cars in FH2 don’t use this style.

One more big detail: AI could go completely offroad, without even following roads. (I miss these cross country events, and still never got a chance to play storm island sadly)
Missed out on getting the FNnF expantion when it was on 360 and even now with Xkey there is NO iso upload of it online (except rgh version but thats not what im looking for)
If u go back to FM4 all these sounds where from that game they also have a video they recorded for most of the cars not all big salute to the team some cars in fh2 that weren't in fm4 has inaccurate sounds
FH2 is and always will be THE best Horizon game, and sadly, the only other one that comes close is FH4 ONLY because the map, races, and physics were phenomenal. This franchise is too worried about making money that they forgot the soul and fun of the Horizon series. That's why FH5 is so bad.

FH1 also had some cars where exhaust upgrades could alter the sound, plus FH1 has the best backfires in the series imo.

The sense of speed in FORZA HORIZON 2 is miles above TDU SOLAR CROWN and FH5.

To be honest I think you’re being blinded by nostalgia. These sounds, other than the idle sounds, are inferior to Horizon 5 objectively.
Never managed to experience the Xbox one version, only the 360 , and I can say it it was ass , even fh1 had better graphics
