Oh, Miss Lori, this video could be your legacy. After all these years of working, building, planting, harvesting, canning, and saving all things primitive... this shows so beautifully how you both have pulled it all together. The Lord has blessed you beyond measure. I cried with the beautiful ending music and you two eating. Bless the Lord, for here is all that is good on this earth. I am so grateful for the gift of Mr and Mrs Brown to me! Standing ovation!

The beauty of nature, the most cozy, inviting home you’ve made, and the provisions of Our father fixed with your love, and hands- nothing more could be desired.❤🙏
I loved going to my grandmother's house on the farm. There house had no heat or even air. It was the coldest house. She cooked on a wood stove. The best food ever. I can remember the first thing she did was start a fire in the wood stove to heat up the kitchen. There was a wood stove in the living room. Sugar cured country ham, grits, and homemade biscuits, the best breakfast ever. The bathroom was sooooo cold, she had the claw foot bathtub. She was an amazing cook. There is nothing better than food cooked on a wood stove. I can just imagine how good the food you are cooking is going to be. I miss those days of going to my mother's mother house on the farm. They grew their own crops, had cattle and pigs, and no job how they made it I do not know but the cost of living was not what it is now. Awww, I wish we could go back to those days when life was so much better. We sat on the porch on a Sunday to watch the traffic go by, now how many kids would like that?
You inspire me every single time! Thought I had my menu figured out but nope! Now I've gotta try your greens. I miss my Gramma's greens. Wish I had paid more attention when I was younger and she was still with us. I got my Whippoorwill Holler tote bag today! I love it!! Taking it with me to the Farmers Market this Sunday 🥰. Thank you both for sharing your life with us. Your videos really mean a lot to a whole lot of people! 😘
