McDermott's Castle Ruins | Lough Key | Ireland - 4K

McDermott's Castle is located on Castle Island in Lough Key. Built in 12th century, now ruins. The only way to reach it is by a boat. The area is very nice. Forest & Activity Park has a lot of trails for cycling, walking and jogging. Family and pets friendly, plenty of parking, just 4 euro for the day.

You got in really close to some of the most interesting features like the arched windows and ramparts and showed them off well. Did you take a boat out to the island or did you shoot it all from the shore?
