You guys know I love your channel and always will so congratulations on 40K! Now on to 50K, 60K, 70K....it's only a matter of time.👍. Also want to point out the obvious: Heidi continues to catch the biggest fish. Way to go Heidi! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Great seeing you fish together, especially with social distancing and to much time on most people's hands. Stay healthy, stay safe, keep catching fish and sharing with us! We need it.
Gosh I love pike, almost as much as I love da packers, but gosh I love pike. Who doesn't love catching pike? It looks like they have green kevlar armor. Great to see some musky guys that get excited about pike! Love It!
Have you guys tried the 7.5 inch swim squid baits yet? Pike and Bass love them! They are soft rubber and look so alive in the water that fish just grab and hang on! They work best with a natural presentation. Do not add sinkers to them. Rig them weed-less and use a slow retrieve.
Still the best intro on youtube. I can't believe this channel only has 40 K subs.... That being said FORTY THOUSAND aint nothin' to sneeze at either... so congrats you guys! You got my sub for life 100%
Hey guys I’ve been watching you guys since 2k subs and I go to up to northern Minnesota Cass lake every year and my father jigs for walleye as I cast for Muskie. My question is what bait do I use the first week of June in northern Minnesota I’ve used your Medusa and Poseidon’s in the past thxs.
@@huntercruchelow2187 they are right my freind guides musky on cass. Leech. Planet lakes and surrounding areas my folks live 35 min east i fish musky alot on cass small bucktails will get em on the big shallow weed flats good luck man😎
Great vid! I've been chasing gators myself lately. I've recently purchased a few swim jigs for this up coming season and can't wait to throw them for bass and pike. I'm in Ontario, Canada.....do you think they will work pretty good up here? Wisconsin is just as north if not a bit more then where I live.
Nice fishing! I was wondering how you like the Attwood flush mounted rod holder compared to the Scotty holders. I have 5 of the Attwood flush mount holders on my boat and like that they are soft for my cover to lay on top of. But I have broken 1 of the rod holders already. I don't think they have enough glass in the plastic. On my old boat I had the Scotty mount with the Cabela's quick draw rod holders and they were sturdy. But I can't use them with the attwood mounts. They are too big. I just noticed you had both style on your boat.
Nice to see Heidi with a big bass and out with the boys again. Lots of fast action there with all the pike. Excluding saltwater, I think this is the first time I've seen you guys do any trolling. I actually replayed that segment at slow speed because I couldn't quite believe it. lol
I’m looking at getting a new setup for big pike and the occasional musky (I’m mostly interested in large pike but several nearby lakes have both) and was curious if you guys think a Curado K in 6.2 gear ratio would be adequate for baits that are between 1 and 2 ounces. I’m mainly going to be using Super Shad Raps, Phantom 6”, 1.5oz jig/plastics, and a variety of topwaters as well as some other crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Will the Curado K handle that over the long haul? I could just get a Calcutta D but it’s quite expensive and if the Curado has the line capacity I need (it does) and is capable of handling 1.5 ounce lures on a regular basis then I’ll probably just save myself $200 and get the Curado K.
It would be fine but you may want to consider the Tranx 300. You lose lots of line on a cast with 200, 300 would keep your inches of line per crank up.
That’s a really interesting idea, I hadn’t considered it. A larger and fuller spool will allow higher IPT at the same gear ratio as a smaller one. So with something like the 5.8/1 in the TranX and Calcutta D, you get the high leverage cranking power while actually pulling in about the same amount of line as a smaller reel with a higher ratio. That had totally escaped my mind, thanks guys!
If you cant say the lake your fishing on please stick the videos were the sun don't shine do you get my drift your not helping me in any way your just out to find subscribers and advertise for your sponcers injoy your day I was hoping your video would be educational you don't have to name the lake but you could say the region your fishing or you just scared of competition
Maybe you should do your own research, it's part of fishing. I have an 8' wide creek I found with a 41" pike and I can catch 10 out of there in a few hours. I spent a long time doing homework to know, why would I tell you? Haha.
You guys always seem to have the best timing on your vids. I am sooooo looking forward to some big pig pike this summer
Congrats on the subs. You guys should have 10x as many with the awesome content that you put out. Awesome video

Thanms Larry. Its taken over 3 years to get here.
Official start of toothy critter season! I can almost smell the pike. :-)

Have not
So glad your back fishing for the toothy ones. Your bass vids were good, but the pike and muskie are why I subbed to your channel.
Us too! 😉
That was a great vid. I live in Wisconsin and love to fish so I love your videos
Many thanks
You guys should try putting a attachable spinner on those swim jigs. My dad uses that rig and catches tons of pike
Nicely done boys and girl! Heading out for some pike action myself today!
Good luck!! I'll be waiting for the video.
Hope your on em!
Well done catching those fish. Fun had by all.
Just went Pike and Sturgeon fishing last weekend, nice to see a Pike video!

Heck yeck fishing where I used to fish in HS.
pretty fun to work a spinner through the shallow water and wait for the fish to hammer at it
Great day on the water, love the pike videos.

Was lunch time🤣
That explains the trolling. lol
People find pike annoying. I love fishing for pike. You can hook up to a bass, muskie, even big crappies. It's simple lures, techniques, ect.......
Nice fish I love pike fishing my biggest is 40 and a half
👍
@@TodaysAngler now I'm just excited for that Wisconsin musky opener all day baby
What glasses are those that Lee is wearing? Thanks.

does Lee prefer a crayfish trailer to a shad or grub trailer and does he prefer a swim jig to a bladed swim jig and why?
Feel I get more bites.
Chatter blade baits work well!
Tried it
When is the big wedding
Puckaway?
The 1st fish almost looks like a silver phase pike.
