When inferno was doing a sound check.. i was front row and can't get over how hard i felt his beats on my chest! like no joke! Also his symbols are way up in the air!

Only reason you felt that is because of the triggers lol, because he is not a hard hitter at all

his drumtalk interview is amazing, I'd love a private lesson with him. Also for me if I wear shoes or heavy boots I definitely feel its easier to sustain long passages of fast 16ths but I lose all "feel" with my toes and can't do doubles as fast with one foot. Probably just need practice but I'll always be more comfortable in socks.

    1. Sandoval also plays with boots so there ya go.
    2. The RUDE's aren't pretty, but you can hear them over a dump truck driving into a nitroglycerin plant
    3. Triplets on the feet and four's on the hand is always a good option.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that's listened to the album straight through so many times that my brain immediately goes to the opening of the next song once Ov the Fire and the Void is over.

But tbh for most of the stuff he plays, hes using his whole leg to make each stroke and hes using the heavy ass boots. I have no doubt in my mind hes making a lot of noice with his feet.

I personally find it easier playing in boots and using heavier sticks because the weight is already there and all you have to do is shift it rather than put the force into the hit with your legs.......

Rudi’s old video for Ordinance: This Theory Repeating blows most of everything you’ve watched out of the water. Young Rudi, no f**ks given, better hertas than Bleed, and back when he was still playing true open hand with the hi-hat stand he hacked the legs off of with a saw.

Krisiun was (is? I haven't been keeping up with their albums since Conquerors of Armageddon) all about the triplets feet under blasting. If my feet can't keep up with 16ths bomb blasting they kinda just do that on their own.
