Hi, your video instructions are simply brilliant. I'm an experienced knitter/crocheter and was blown away by the video. Your tip for sewing up is genius. Have now made three cosies these last two days. Thank you xx
Thanks. Watching you knitting tea cosy was so much pleasure. I am just a knitting beginner. I will try and copy your telant. I am an artist .I love sketching. Anything. I am sure I will enjoy knitting your tea cosy. All the best. Cheers 🎉❤

This was a brilliant tutorial to follow. The instructions were helpful and clear, and the tea cosy knit up in an afternoon! I'm a fan of a quick knit - which was great as this was a wedding gift. Thanks for this!
I am so glad I saw this video, I have a 2 cup teapot and was looking for a tea cozy pattern that would fit it. Thank you for this video and pattern. The pattern calls for size 7mm knitting needles, mine doesn't have mm's on them they have straight numbers (2, 4, 5, etc) so I have no idea what size to use. I am in the U.S. and have some very old needles.
Merci merci pour ce tuto depuis le temps que je cherche un modèle facile à faire je m y met tout de suite à le faire et je m abonne explications claires et simples
This is so cute! I'm gonna try making it but with 2 different colors of yarn, so that the ribbing is a nice earthy olive tone and the top is a warm cream color. I've never actually _made_ something with knitting before but this seems small and a good first full project
@FlockAndFern It went awesome! If you add the new color in the row you knit all the way immediately after the ribbing it's seamless. I'm putting the pictures on my Instagram
This is a super easy tea cosy thank you, Im just wondering are you left handed? When making the pompom, I use the same pompom maker but I find it way easier to trim the pompom into shape before I remove it from the gadget. When sewing the pompom on, I thread the two strands of wool through the project so that they can be tied off from inside the project then thread the two loose end back up through the pompom so it looks part of it then trim the ends. I hope you find this helpful. Thank you for sharing your video

Thanks @Flock&Fern for such a lovely pattern! I was wondering if you wanted to make the pattern for a slightly larger tea pot (on the larger side like a 6 cup), how would you adapt it? Rather than 23 stitches to cast on, could you do 25 or 27? (I did purchase your pattern from your website!) Thanks for any suggestions!
Hi Heather, thanks so much for the comment, and I'm so glad you like our pattern! It's tricky without knowing the dimensions of the teapot itself, but I'd perhaps try with 29 or 31 cast on stitches, and do a couple of extra rows of the main body before the decrease.
Hey 👋 thanks for getting in touch. Yarn would be better to maintain the gauge for this pattern. But I’ll add a cotton teas cosy pattern to my list and let you know when it’s ready!

If you use Aron wool how many stitches do you use. Love your patterns you are so easy to follow. Thanking you in advance.
Hey, good question. I'll put my thinking cap on and come up with a pattern for aran weight yarn. :)
Hi, thanks for the tutorial. I was wondering if you have suggestions for doing it with thinner wool. Thanks for any suggestions.
Great idea! I'll have a think and design another pattern - probably for aran/worsted weight :)
How do I make this for a 6 pot tea cozy
nice thats soooooooo coooooooooolllllll
Aww thanks 🙏 thanks
Love this, I’m going to give it a try. Roughly much yarn do you need for this?
Thanks so much Sam. You’ll need about 100g for the main part and 20g for the chain and Pompom if you fancy adding the decoration too. Happy knitting!

Do you block the tea cost when you are done?
Hi Christina, I didn’t block it, no. Thanks!
Forgot to ask Can I Use Size 7 Needles And Double Knit Wool Please xx
What size needles are they I have USA sizes?
I wasn’t able to find the written pattern
Hi Sandy - it's at this link: www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1109877464/tea-cosy-knitting-pattern-with-video?
Is cotton or wool better for this project?
Hey 👋 thanks for getting in touch. Yarn would be better to maintain the gauge for this pattern. But I’ll add a cotton teas cosy pattern to my list and let you know when it’s ready!
Please show this beanie on 2 straight needles
Thanks for the suggestion! Will do!
Would this fit a small 2 cup teapot?
Yeah it might be a little baggy but should be ok 👌
