Anymore, hardly anyone has and original idea. Most of it's been already done. I'm not gonna waste my bosses' time trying to reinvent the wheel. It's okay to Google something to give yourself a place to start. There's no shame in it.

They work in C and C++ and i've seen them do some crazy memory manipulation while on-site at the customer and without any internet connection. They just knew the software and the language so well they didn't need to search anything up. They just knew what to do and how to do it. But that's old school programmers, those who studied programming on books and that know every single detail and functionality of the language, also they are brillaint engineers who know the machine down to the hardware level and when they program really looks like magic. I've seen one of them write a super complex software to manage an entire automatic warehouse and the end result was a 4MB .exe file.
