I don't know why, but whenever I really hear about House Va'ruun, it kinda reminds me of the Sixth House/House Dagoth. I really hope Bethesda adds a DLC or something that's more focused on House Va'ruun
It's a mysterious faction. I wish the Serpent's Embrace trait was developed more - similar to how playing as a Drow is acknowledged repeatedly during Baldur's Gate III. Hopefully Bethesda will address this in patches or in the Shattered Space DLC.
Why am I able to catch a midnight post?! Because my wife is delivering a baby and I can't sleep on the hospital spouse couch while she dilates slowly. For once, I'm happy for the late night post (edited away the dangling participle)
With what you said about your love of Sci-Fi over fantasy; It's worth noting that Morrowind most of all, but a lot of TES3 and onwards Elder Scrolls, has inspiration from things like Dune and Star Wars. Kirkbride said Dune was one of his biggest influences for Elder Scrolls properties.
Just wanted to take a quick second to say I love your vids!! Been playing your Starfield playlist in the background while writing DnD stories for the last couple days. Really entertaining!!
It’s so evident that you’re not supposed to get arrested with contraband until you’re a bit more weathered and renowned lol Also my characters head cannon is a Indian character who’s old job was a call center IT employee who is great at tech. And has a passion for cooking lmfao. Jivanta is my dream wife
Yes getting arrested by possessing contraband when you don't have a shielded cargo does lead to a quest line. However, if you want to avoid the whole situation you can buy a shielded cargo over at the Red Mile in the Porrima system
Space CIA is apt. 😄 It is nice that the protagonist's knowledge of certain things (like the Crimson Fleet) is acknowledged, rather than treating you like you're a newborn to the universe (like when a Dunmer protagonist asks what Blacklight is during "Dragonborn" which makes no sense whatsoever).
maybe im just really super hella gullible but lt. toft and commander ikande dont seem like entirely terrible people tho again they seem to be as u said straight up the space cia edit: also Jivanta seems like such a legend and sweetheart i love her
Hey just a little advice from someone with about 100hours play time. The best buttons I've found to map the ships power management is to use the scroll left/right for left and right arrows and scroll wheel for changing the value. You can manage all the buttons I mentioned for the ship control in the bindings. Also a tip for fighting in space, instead of reducing engine thrust(not power) to minimum there's a white mark in the middle of the speedometer throttle thing that is used for quick turns. Reducing speed too much when turning will cause your turns to be really slow. Gotta get the speed just right!! Otherwise thanks for the morrowind food eating tip. Wish I would have know about it before getting the regen health perk
The reason that mission "updated" after you grabbed the snow globe on the moon was because the quest associated with the snow globe completed so the game auto selected your last selected mission. So it didn't really "update" it just notified you that another mission is now active.
4:02 thanks to the lunar reconnaissance orbiter, we know that the the flags on the moon are still standing tall.... I truly was one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind. There are those that believe the moon landing was a hoax, fellas, there is your proof
My biggest compliment for this game, after 100+ hrs in, is that it has made me stupidly hyped for ES VI... and I don't do hype at all anymore by principle...
Bro if you get to pick legendary mantis armor do not pick right away first save the game then you pick and reload it's always change tha armor trait because it's random.
@@itsagundam79just look at the traits that spawn on legendary armor and pick what you want. There are mods that add a ton of carry weight and reduce o2 used when over encumbered by a huge amount, I had a pack with 75% reduction. But there’s also mods that make you do more damage to certain enemy types. It would never be worth trying to roll a perfect roll cuz it’s mathematically so rare, so just reload if stats are bad for you
@@Purriah ah, so it's not like 1 or 2 specific traits that are exceptional to the Mantis in particular. And it doesn't matter if you wait until level 40 or 50 to get the best versions of traits, like Oblivion or Skyrim?
Sometimes this game gives such a sense of wonder and innocence, like walking on the moon. Then you get ripped right back into old ground, Fallout 4 in Space! With a little Skyrim sprinkled in. You get Dark Brotherhood-napped by the Space Railroad and have to listen to them yammer on about robots having rights all over again. And now you're doing Space Spy stuff, but not 007 stuff. I guess they have all the assets from 4 & Skyrim & they wanted to flex their muscles with something a little different. Even the Legendaries are all exactly the same though. Fingers crossed the story is something awesome though, or weapons are batshit insane. If particle weapons just end up being Space plasma though...😅
@@renaigh yeah it's pretty boring playing the exact same game again, just in space. That's the plot of of Airplane 2, right there. 😂 His current companion is Piper with a new accent. I've got high hopes for the game though. The space sim combat is pretty amazing, and introducing boost packs make me wonder if we're getting Borderlands or Star Wars Bounty Hunter jetpack combat eventually. Or if it's just a double jump upgrade. I'm also curious how fun the outpost building is, and how it works when you're away. If another character says "another Outpost needs your help" that would be pretty funny and aggravating. 🤣🤣🤣

Clearly it's how you honor the Tribe Unmourned.

Ah, but Lyle you're forgetting that fires don't burn without oxygen. So if you shot the flag with a laser irl, it would just cut a small hole through.

🎉congratulations🎉
Congratulations bro
oh my god, congrats to you all 🙏
Congrats!
Congratulations!
Shattered space is going to be released sometime at the end of this year, Bethesda is still working on the myriad of issues with the base game. 8:07
I keep wanting to call the Spacefarer, the Last Dragonborn or The Narevarine. I've also almost called them the Hero of Oakvale
He's clearly the Prisoner bound by Prophecy
Loving the series so far, I can't wait to see where this story goes!

You should never jump to a settled system while you are carrying contraband... But in this case I guess it's too late.

It'd be cool if there were some stories in the books that were stories from Skyrim made into a fantasy novel.

i'd recommend making an outpost with storage and putting your contraband there :)
They even have a nice contraband container you can create and store them in their own unique container.
37:51 If you want your stuff back that was stolen it's in the security office back on new Atlantis by the landing pad.
Yeah, the UC is kind of messed up lol

just incase this hasnt been brought up, there's a chest with an infinite weight limit in your room in the lodge
18:50 i love neptune sm it's my favourite planet :))))))))))))
Earth is my favorite by far
well how about in starfield? @@Purriah 😅
And they in fact have added the hold E to eat feature

Ep 14 , let's go!

Is it just me or does Commander Ikande sound like Javik from Mass Effect?
You do need to undock from ships but not friendly star stations

What are the best traits to look for on the Mantis?
Lyle will most likely take the armor since it’s a pretty big upgrade when doing the quest

I like how they are acting like hes some criminal overlord. But he just had one bottle of an illegal drug in his personal storage. Fuckin pigs.
