Oh my gosh. Instant tingles. This is so perfect. Thank you.
lovely
Would LOVE a version of this without music. Very diff and creative!
@AMBIENT METHOD: This is just .... next level impressive !!
I admire your precision and attention to detail... You could be the son of a proud Swiss watchmaker !
Kudos to you, Sir !!
thank you!
Love this i feel so relaxed every time i put this on and i really like to hear and focus on the cogs and mechanical parts and i always imagine working here and having a little amber glowing steampunk like room at the bottom where you can stay as a caretaker and rest on your free time and go up in a tiny lift or spiral stairs to different floors to this ancient dwarven steampunk golden and white marble stone looking bell tower musical chiming machine high in the hills with the golden metals shining from the sun and keeping it maintained so it can always be heard down into the ancient colorful valley and from miles away.
FINALLY I've been looking for something like this for AGES 🤩
I'm so glad you like it!!!
Haaa... the sound of gears is calming my poor mad mind...
There was no Alice in the end.
This is amazing.
thank you!

this is perfect for daydreaming!
I would love it if there was a version without the tones. I could fall asleep to the gears if the sharp tones weren't there.
"You've met a terrible fate, haven't you?"
This is beautifully done, but I would also really, really, really like a version without the musical elements. I mean you gotta understand a lot of us are looking for ambient soundscapes *because* we're *not* looking for music. A well-crafted soundscape is a remarkably effective way of creating this immersive experience of being in a fundamentally different environment than (for instance) the same old bedroom in which I'm studying and working on my computer 5-7 days a week. This would be *perfect* and my new favorite version of this kind of ambience (seriously, the "clockwork plane" by Michael Ghelfi layered with an "engine room" is good, but these clicks and clacks are just so perfectly balanced on their own), but... clocktowers don't make endless droning/chime sounds. No machinery sounds like that, even ones that do produce some kind of droning tones.
Besides, like, if anybody *does* want endless sustained chimes layered over their soundscapes, it would be extremely easy to simply open another tab on some "ambient chimes" video. There's a million of those; but only a very few decent "clockwork/clock-tower" soundscapes.
Anyway, this is a personal preference and not a critique of the "objective" quality of this work, I'm sure plenty of folks actively prefer the opposite. Judging from beyond my personal preferences, this work is *top* quality, it's incredibly well done.
I appreciate the feedback. Very well considered and insightful. I’ve considered releasing a version with just the clockwork ambience without the droning chimes. I know exactly what you mean and have often felt that many of my hybrid environment/ambient music videos could be split into two separate videos, for all the reasons you mentioned. I’ll see about releasing just the ambience soon. I’ll have to significantly change the visuals for that vid though otherwise YT will flag me for “reused content”. Cheers, and thanks again for the feedback.
@@ambientmethod Consummate professional. God damn.
where can i get the copyright for a non commercial project?
Wait... is this a reference to Ragnarok Online?
Not intentionally. I've actually never heard of it.
@@ambientmethod It's an old game. There's a dungeon called Clock Tower and some monsters are called Punk and Clock.
@@malakalanha ah, cool! I'll have to check it out. thanks :)
