This is the first one I watched that is helpful. I have issues with the ones that are “hard to clean” so I’m trying to find a good option but some of them are really big. 😔
Me and my so are trying for #2 and I love your videos, I'm not even going to bother with the hard spout sippys and go strait to the straw ones after soft spout ones. My son hated the hard spout ones.
Thank you for the review! My husband and I are trying to conceive, so all of this is helpful! I love your honesty :) Just to clarify, the only problem you had with the Munchkin was that you kept losing the pipe cleaner? Have a great weekend :)
Thanks so much for making these videos. I'm having such a hard time finding a sippy cup that my son will use. He got so use to the nuk soft spout active cup. He will not drink milk at all now. And I've bought a ton of cups. I'm running out of ideas 😔
Momma Alia maybe get CLR put it in the sink with hot water and put the cup and lid in the sink with CLR and the hot water and let it soak for a while but be sure to wash the cup very very well after
Would you recommend the munchkin weighted straw cup for drinking warm milk out of? Which cups did Sophie and Remi ultimately prefer to drink milk from?
Yep, just so long as your diligent about cleaning the straw! Sometimes those can get grimey with milk and not being washed after every use. Sophie was never much of a chewer but loved her pacifier (sucking on it) so she did awesome with straw cups and spouted cups. Remi was a chewer and not so interested in her pacifier and she took to spoutless (munchkin 360 or WOW cups) super easily. Now they both drink from spoutless cups the most since they're easier to clean and no leaking(:
I quickly moved more into spoutless cups because I felt like I could never get the straws clean enough but I did try the straw cup from Pura Stainless. It's great because the silicone and stainless steel doesn't hold any kind of smells so we love it!
hi there. Thanks for such an informative video. I wanted to know if a baby can drink milk in a reclined position with the dr brown's straw cup. Like is it easy to reach the bottom.

My 15 month old loves the contigo ones and the new contigo straw cups from Costco they are her favourite

Thank you for watching! I'm sorry about that momma. Have you tried a straw cup or spoutless cup?
The sippy cup with the white spots could just be stains if she's not getting sick from it when she uses it you shouldn't worry
I found out they're hard water spots(:
Momma Alia maybe get CLR put it in the sink with hot water and put the cup and lid in the sink with CLR and the hot water and let it soak for a while but be sure to wash the cup very very well after
That nuby one it looks like it could be milk my son has the same one and I now only use it for water or milk
This was the exact video I actually needed. Thank you so much!
Happy to help!
Also for the munchkin one after I cleaned it and dried it I put the little cleaning thing inside it.

The zoli bot is a really good straw cup but it's so expensive!
I almost tried that one but didn't because of the price haha!
The first one you show is .97 at my walmart
What do you think is the best option for insulated straw cups? My 16 month old loves ice water but regular cups the ice is gone so fast.
Hm that's a hard one! I would try the Pura Kiki Stainless insulated straw cup. I've heard good things!
Thanks girl!!
Also watch out with the contigo, I had to throw one out because the black seal came off and we couldn't get it back on.
Good to know, thank you!
Hi! Does the Dr. Brown sippy cup have a spill proof valve or is it just a regular cup?
Hello! I filmed this a very long time ago so it’s hard to remember specifically but I do think it had some kind of anti-spill mechanism in place
I used to love the munchkin weighted cup but I found if I put milk or juice in it, it would leak like crazy.
Contigo Autospout Striker Water Bottle what age if you remember did your give this bottle to your girls?
I think it was around 12 months because the flow is quite fast with a lot of liquid coming out
do you have any updates on straw sippy cups? like new ones you love
I quickly moved more into spoutless cups because I felt like I could never get the straws clean enough but I did try the straw cup from Pura Stainless. It's great because the silicone and stainless steel doesn't hold any kind of smells so we love it!
Could you do a review and show the cups you moved to and are currently using?
Which do you think is easiest to “suck”? My LO is starting to get the concept but the straw sippy cups we have are really difficult to get liquid out
Probably the Munchkin weighted straw cup out of all of these!
Love the munchkin one

Glad you thought so! Probably not when baby is reclined but I’m not 100% sure. I would try the weighted straw cups because it will move with baby!
I'm beginning to hate the contigos, had to seals come off now
Oh no!
I paid $10 for 3 of the contigos from Costco
+Anna McDermott Thanks, I'll keep an eye out!
Dr brown or contigo?
Contigo for older kids! Dr. Brown’s for younger!
