When you pulled the paper out to use on the card I gasped and then you said and laughed that you really didn’t like cutting into cardstock. So funny because I hate to cut into beautiful papers too! What helped me was that my daughter was in New York with hubby when out for a stroll they happened upon a handmade little paper shop. Thinking of how I love specialty papers they went in and bought me a bag of different kinds of gorgeous papers and gave it to me for Christmas. I stared and swooned at that stuff for so long I finally decided to take it out of the corner and jump in and use it for anniversaries etc. I realized my kids would love to see their gift to me used. Because I love papers of any kind so much I have been able to make out of that paper fabulous cards for my family mostly. One card I made, a very large wedding card made with paper covered with glued tiny pearls in a beautiful pattern on it ordered by the mother of the bride. She loved it so much she gave me $200 for it! 👀 😳😳 yes! So so exhilarating. All because of my New York paper!! Sorry to go on and on but all this to say I love love gorgeous paper like you! By the way your cards are always inspiring. I have been a subscriber of yours for a long time and have learned so much from you. Thank you.

Absolutely love your two cards! I really like how you used some of the lovely patterned papers by cutting strips to put on your card. I was already wondering how i could best use the papers or keep myself from hoarding them. Your butterflies are beautiful!! Love the colors you used! I think my next purchase should be some twine.
