At first I really didn't like that huge flower stamp but after you embossed it on that beautiful blue cardstock and finished the card I ended up loving it! 🦋
Cathy I finally got time to watch your card kit video. I love your blue card and black card are my favorite they are gorgeous. I love the paint also. I bought several after you recommended them. So sorry I was so late getting to watch your fabulous video 💜💖💜💖
Cathy, I find myself talking to the video like you can actually hear me 😂😂😂😂. Like agreeing with you or saying no the other one etc... 😂😂😂 I can't be the only one (please tell me I'm not the only one 😂😂😂) Love your video's *BIG VIRTUAL HUGS* 🤗🤗🤗 and p.s. man that bouquet stamp is massive 😂😂😂
@LilStampBug, no, you're not the only one. 😂 Cathy rocks! I like the way she invites us everytime in her dinning room to craft together, like having tea and a chat with everyone of us. Keep the good work and your tonus this year too, Cathy! We enjoy your cardmaking as well as you presence, even if it's from far away. Greetings from Romania
My goal is to one day be able to afford these kits. They have such great stuff. Cathy, I just wanted to say you look especially beautiful today. I just love your hair.
Always like seeing your videos. when im on the fence about a card kit you come thru and show me the way! Awesome cards! Love the shiny sparkly card on the black cardstock.
Cathy, Love the cards!...I too am a big fan of the beveled edge. It gives edges that finished,, "just came from the printer" look. When I die cut my labels, especially on white heavy card stock, it always reminds of fancy & expensive wedding invitations.
Four beautiful cards,it really helped me out on what and how to play with d.p..never think of using my dies to cut and where I should cut for better placement. Thank You for this wonderful tutorial ❤️
Love these cards! While I probably won't get the kit (I just got a big stamp order), I'm betting I have similarly styled supplies on hand. I love that "Miss You" card the most and was wondering if you had ever considered adding the vellum layer on top of the colored cardstock shadow layer to soften it just a tad, and make it just a smidgen different from the background. And, I've clearly learned some elements of design from you, because as you were thinking out loud, I found myself disagreeing with some options, and loved it when I picked the same option as you. Not only are your videos fun to watch, they're chock full of so much great information, too! Thanks a bunch for sharing your talents!
What a pretty set. Loved those quick and easy cards but the black is really lovely. Since I'm making a out 500 maple leaves to decorate a faux maple tree I've had lots of practice with water color lately. You can dry your paper in a warm oven (don't forget it's there, I've done that...not pretty) it will curl a little but if you are die cutting it flattens right out. Also sprinkling a little kosher salt on as it is drying in the o en gives you some really cool effects.
Really loved the black card. The metallic paints are just stunning! I have a large embossed flower image on white with white embossing powder, silver on black paper and white on black paper and I just can’t figure out what to do with them. There’s not as much detail but I love the water color idea. These cards are fantastic! You have come into your own sister!
Very nice. i especially loved the last two with that floral stamp... i think i need that stamp. plus, i grow orchids and there really aren't many stamps for 'chids!
FUN unboxing! Love your cards! That last one is magnificent....black on black, never have done that....WHY?!?! It's gorgeous! And I am scratching my head, I 'pump' my Rabbit Hole Embossing Tool....am I suppose to 'click' it??? Say What?!?
I have so much pattern paper from my scrapbooking days, I am totally going to start making cards with them. This kit is super cute, and I love all of your card designs. That metallic watercolor is gorgeous.❤️
My little tip on the small journal type card panels that are included in paper packs or sets, even the 12x12, is they are great to use and cut out for the envelope to match!
LOL I just learned I can click my Rabbit tool. And love how you explain your thought process cause then I can use that to make my own card designs. And the tips and tricks. Always learning something. Thanks
On the rose/ledger paper card. I think running the edges of the pattern paper across your ink pad would give it a little pop off the panel. Very old school technique but one I’ve revisited alot lately.
I just love every single card. That last card is stunning. I am grateful for the reminder to use my patterned paper... you know, rather than hoard it. I love what you did with the large floral stamp...I get overwhelmed by those large images sometimes... but embossing it was brilliant and so lovely. You inspire me and constantly remind me to keep it simple. Much love Cathy!
Thank you Cathy for using the patterned paper. I’m in the UK and have lots of paper pads that I’m trying to use up so this gave me some great ideas. Thank you xx
Cathy I think when you turn the base of your powder tool you are just opening and closing the resevour. I'm pretty sure it's just gravity fed. Beautiful cards :)
Stunning. Like a black dress and an evening in Paris!
I love your creativity and enjoy your videos so much because you don't feel as if everything has to be perfect. You're a great teacher!

You aren’t the only one. I actually said out loud that I thought the mint colored card stock would be best for the card with the balloons. 😂😂😂
@LilStampBug, no, you're not the only one. 😂
Cathy rocks! I like the way she invites us everytime in her dinning room to craft together, like having tea and a chat with everyone of us.
Keep the good work and your tonus this year too, Cathy! We enjoy your cardmaking as well as you presence, even if it's from far away.
