I lived with Keith for six months just before his bro Ian came back from europe. Up wellington road well out of town. Once walked all the way up from downtown collecting empty beer bottles with 'Teeth' Whittaker and got enough to get a six pack at the BR nearby home, we were best mates and I wrote his history essays for him at uni as he was to lazy and I owed him for putting up with me. Worked with Rob Brent (guitar player) later, absolute gem of a guy who opened the door to being a performing musician for me and we worked together in a band (Mettle) for 3 years or so until I had to return to the UK. Great documentary by Fanshaw college called 'stinkin' out the joint' covers the whole Cedar lounge York Hotel period, well worth a watch. God rest RB's soul and Keith and his brother Ian, all of whom I love very much still. Great times in a sleepy Canadian city.
I saw Demic s Diodes and
Deserters in Toronto.
