- Harry, my lovely old dog died on Monday after spending fourteen happy years with us as part of the family. This is Tishomingo Blues, an old New Orleans jazz tune. Harry loved being right beside me when I played sax, and he used to join in. You can hear him singing on this channel. Look for 'Harry Sings The Blues'. Rest in Peace Harry.

only who has the gift of having a loyal dog knows the true friendship and love. My dog also stays besides me when playing at home.. he is 10 years old...rest in peace Harry..

I lost my dog Whisky , a beautiful Scottish Terrier in 2009 . It was also a big loss for all the family . It's crazy but I still can't throw away his toys , even after all this time .A dog is a friend for life .

Love this. Tell me someone has the notes for this solo please. Very nice and warm sound.
Jazz tunes have chord structures and occasional 'riffs' but the actual notes being played, vary quite a bit for each musician and for each performance and mood of the instrumentalist. That's not an accident, most all jazz and blues is played this way, free style called improvisation. It does have a structure with the chord progression of the song/tune and usually a short melody or 'riff' that serves as a base to build improved solos. Hope that helps.
