Hi susannah, I just wanted to say thank you for posting all of ur vids, I study dentistry at kings in london, there seems to be an awful lot of cross over, as I've watched nearly all ur vids, and find them exceptionally useful... Thanks again
Thank you for your articulate explanation and for this informative video. However, I must note that the oculomotor nerve does not innervate 4 eye muscles, but it innervates 5 of them, including: Superior, Medial and Inferior Recti Inferior oblique Levator Palpebrae Superioris
Thank you for your helpful comment! Yes, you are correct. Interesting that someone else made this same comment just a couple of days ago for the first time, despite the video being published a few years ago. That 5th muscle evidently raises the eyelid! Very cool. Thanks again for taking the time to comment and help me improve my content.
I love your videos......this might be my first ever comment on your channel...... I love the way you describe via., your superb drawings..... (can we request few videos .....I mean on the topic we want?..... ) Thank you very much. :)
Dr.Mukul Prakash Kanojia Thank you for your comment! Yes, please request topics. I am currently making a list of videos to make over the next few months!
susannaheinze .......I need one on dermatomes. (have lot to suggest, but can't type everything). it is always cooler if the fact(simple straight facts) are accompanied by their clinical utility.....suppose if you are drawing tapezius of course you'd draw its nerve supply.....and while you are colouring your trapezius muscle.....you could tell that clinicians usually test the trapezius muscle by asking the subject to shrug.......or while drawing orbicularis oculi just say that this is one of the first muscle which clinicians test if they suspect myasthenia . i am in the beginning phase of my clinicals.......and i know how exciting + useful it is at least for me such tiny bits and piece of info having clinical uses . (if drawing is your first love and you wanna keep your vids strickly about sketching then that's a different matter......but, you can always use pics in your vids,it'd just add more stars to your work) (as i said can't type everything) but,still......u r doing great already.
Dr.Mukul Prakash Kanojia Great suggestions, thank you. You are absolutely right on that clinical applications would make my videos better. I will try to do that more in the future. And I am adding dermatomes to my upcoming video list! ☺
Alex Schlitt thank you for your comment. some errors are so bad that I need to delete the video and make it over again! I'd like to do this with this video but I don't have a lot of spare time right now. Sorry for the confusion.
Thank you for your comment and for catching my error. I have made an annotation noting that the trigeminal nerve only carries sensory information from the lacrimal gland, and that it is the facial nerve that provides parasympathetic motor stimulation. Sincerely, Susanna

Colorful explanation 🥰
I think the trigeminal nerve has no parasympathetic fibers and the lacrimal glands are innervated by the facial nerve.
Hi Susan I've been always taught that the oculomotor is mixed not solely motor.
Excellent video. Thank you for the post!
thank you so much~~~this is great stuff~~god bless your heart!!
is there a link or download to the CN drawings to practice so i can just write them in
I love these videos.
❤❤❤
awesome video maam!! its really healpful!!
ophthalmic nerve also covers part of the nose as well
fantastic ......many thanks from egypt
Mohamed Elfeky Thank you for your encouraging comment!
really helpful video thanks for sharing your knowledge :))))
This is helpful ⭐⭐
Really helpful...thank u so much😊
Trigeminal does NOT involve parasympathetic or lacrimal gland. You are probably thinking of CN 7. Parasympathetic nerves are 3,7,9,10.
really helpful...thanks a bunch!!!
Thank you for taking the time to comment! Are there particular topics that you would most like me to make videos about?
super helpful

Thanx a lot for your efforts 😍 I like it & I just wondered if its ok to send a link of your drawings cause I have Round exam on Sunday ❤️
Here is a link to some of my notes: drive.google.com/open?id=0B1opKPCEPfC_c2o0eG9PVjJCQVE
Cranial nerves are pages 210-217. Enjoy!
Thank you very much for sharing your notes! Your videos are very clear and explanations are easy to follow.
Thanks aloooooooooottt!!
great
Thanks mam
thanx
Thank you for your comment! Are there specific topics that you would prefer to see videos on?
thnx ma'm
lacrimation is caused by facial nerve

oculomotor nerve supplies 5 not muscles sup rectus inf. rectus med. rectus inf. oblique and levator palpebrae superioris
Ah thank you for clarifying. I had not even heard of that muscle! I looked it up and discovered it elevates the eyelid! Cool!
not 4 muscles
sherylrj thank you for your comment! Can you be more specific with your question/suggestion?
