Love it! Thank you!! Would still love to see how you create the “pits” in the finished work!
Hello there, Dude your art is amazing. I have just subscribed. I have been having my topcoats of resin are turning yellow sometimes. I'm confused though what r u pouring on the canvas. Is it resin? Ia it acrylics with a pouring medium? Is it housepaint? Please tell me what you are painting with? Thank you. It would be nice if you would teach us how you do what you do. I share my colors and recipes on my channel. Though I will understand if you want to keep it a secret. Thank you so much 💕
Thank you for for sharing your knowledge… the yellowing can be frustrating this really helps! Beautiful work by the way!!
Thank you so much, Brendan, for sharing your knowledge. You are a great artist. Congratulations on your beautiful works! Greetings!!!💪🏻😘
Thanks so much!
Thanks for sharing Brendan! I'm fairly new to resin but I've seen another artist use titanium white paint and how there was a huge difference between the titanium white paint and the white canvas board (gesso I'm assuming) when it comes to yellowing. I've hesitated from using resin due to yellowing but I just absolutely love the look of it
I like your stuf and I’d like to see you drop some non-paint textures (ie. Aged Wood etc) on the canvas in addition to paint to create more “relief”…..also what about using your “waste” on canvas to create an art piece Brendan ?
Does work on fixing yellowed epoxy?
Thanks for the tips on not yellowing white
Love your work Brendan ,just wondering do you ever have any problems with your resin artwork warping and if you do are there any ways to prevent it from happening or fix it if it has already happened ,thankyou heapzz for sharing
To keep my canvases from warping I make sure they are on an even surface.
@brendanparkerart I understand that part tho thankyou heaps for taking the time to answer ,what I mean tho is after the resin has cured and it's been hanging on the wall for a while ,I've been finding that after a little while or even a long while my resin art or resin coated art will start to warp the wooden art board that it is on ,this is the reason I don't sell my art ,I have tried different boards and different resin but after a while it still happened ,any suggestions that you can think of I would be eternally greatfull 🤔👍👍😸
Love your work Brendan! 🤩 Thank you for sharing a bit of your process and the tip of hiding the yellowing! 🙏What a generous artist!
Could you do a video on how your work has textured pits? I’m thinking you might be adding the resin over top of your thickly painted base coat before it has completely dried.
Thank you for sharing this information! I work with fluid art and plan to share this video in the groups I belong to . There is often discussion about resin as a finish on the paintings .
I am wondering if you could direct me to where I go to learn to work with resin? I have moved to more recently to working with much thinner fluid acrylic paint so I can create movement and effects in my pieces in a similar way with my hands, if I would love to advance to resin .
Last … check out Sara Taylor Modern art if you like ( not me ). She is incredible and throws in a mix of abstract art. Some of her abstract pieces remind me of a couple of hers .
I will try to remember to check back here for guidance on ways to engage in resin art, as well as try to track down an email for you . Sometimes communication flow breaks down responding here .
Thanks so much for being willing to demonstrate your art . It is truly stunning and we need beauty in this world that can be harsh. Your work truly inspires me !
This is great info! Thank you for sharing. What epoxy do you use? Ive changed companies a couple times and recently started adding a uv inhibitor, crossing my fingers it will work!
"art resin"
This is great. Thanks. Can you suggest which manufacturers to use or how to know what resin and paints to order (UK) in the big sizes you use. Many thanks and looking forward to seeing more
I just buy whatever paints at my local stores
Wow, I love the way this piece flows! Beautiful. But how does it not catch on fire when you use the torch on the spray paint???
Sometimes it does. In order to avoid burning the spray …. go light with the torch and never stay on an area for too long. Also, wait a few seconds before torching the area so the propellant from spray paint has evaporated. It’s less flammable this way.
I guess I missed this … are you spraying the white paint on just the naked canvas or after you have poured white paint?
after I poured the white paint.
Thank you!! for this informative anti yellowing tips. I appreciate this since yellowing is the major reason why I stopped resining my art.
Glad it was helpful!
same here as all resin yellows. If this works a bonus
Love your work Brendan , very inspiring, have a good weekend.
thank you! You Too!!!!
Your content is so well done. You are one of many who knows how to do a great demo! thanks!
I appreciate that!
Thank you
Welcome!
How does the paint have anything to do with the resin yellowing?
The white areas of my artwork are the only areas that get obviously affected by the resin “yellowing” so this is how “I” keep “my artwork” from yellowing. Might now work for your process, but I hope it helps you in some way. Thanks for watching!
@@brendanparkerart interesting. I guess the white paint helps the yellowing not look so yellow, if that makes sense. Thank for the reply.
Thanks! That’s what I hate about resin ( yellowing over time). However, I have a love & addiction for resin 😂
This is a great idea.
Just curious, which resin did you use in this one Brendan?
