- On July 2, 2012, Universal Orlando celebrated the grand opening of Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem at the Universal Studios Florida theme park. In addition to the film's characters, celebrity voices were in attendance for the opening event including Dana Gaier (Edith), Elsie Fisher (Agnes), and Miranda Cosgrove (Margo).

Very awesome mayhem. I love the Despicable mayhem in the real world of the 2010 film (Despicable Me). So clear mayhem. Are there gonna be another minion mayhem in the next film? Let’s find out! I thought the costumes looked really well done and cute!! Sure they were all taller and they could've made Agnes shorter (I don't know if any kid would want to be all hot in there though.), but I still thought it looked really impressive and cartoony! Way more detail than like, cheap raggedy mascots costumes. It looked fun! And the announcer didn't drag it out too long, just an exciting time for anyone involved.
